Kids and accidents go hand in hand, especially in the summer. I have had about ten of the different Disney themed ice packs over the years and they all worked perfectly when someone fell off a skateboard, tripped over something or got a little too rough in the yard playing. There are a lot of different Disney characters that you can choose from when picking one out but the Toy Story and super hero themed ones were the most popular with the boys when they were younger. They are reusable ice packs that have the soft-touch liquid inside them; when they are placed in the freezer there is still a decent amount of flex to them so you can wrap them around and arm or wrist. They are a lot nicer to use on kids than the regular ice packs because of the size and they never get so cold that they are going to do more harm than good. They can be used over and over and the chill time on them is about thirty minutes. If you want something that is cool but not cold, you can keep these in the refrigerator instead of the freezer. They can be cleaned with a little bit of soap and water but you need to make sure they are completely dry before you put them back in the freezer to keep them from sticking to the shelf or other items in the freezer. The gel inside the ice pack is non-toxic and the only time I have ever had one leak is when one of the dogs got a hold of it and ripped one.
