I was in the US Army and suffered a back injury. My doctor started encouraging me to buy a firm mattress, even though that sounded like it would just make my back ache more, I started looking around. I had to of tried out fifty mattresses when I stumbled upon, or should i say laid upon, this wonderful bed. I immediately noticed all the support you'd expect from a firm mattress, yet I didn't feel uncomfortable like I thought I would be. In the past I always thought a softer mattress you be more comfortable, but boy was I wrong! After having this mattress for a year, I've noticed a tremendous difference with my back. This mattress has individual coil springs in a pocket and is so much better than our old inner-coil spring mattress. We should have upgraded a long time ago. If your looking for a great mattress, this is the one. Give it a try, you will be thankful you did. Comfort The movement isolation in this mattress is a the best I have felt. I can't even tell anyone else is in the bed at night and when the kids come into the bed, I can't even feel them jumping around. Its almost like a memory foam mattress. Support This is a firm individual coil mattress. It feels way better than a soft pillow top and works for both of us. I would choose this again if I had to do it over again because it feels so good. Firmness This felt really firm when we first bought it, and now after 30 days, it has settled in right between firm and plush. Durability This mattress is suppose to last 10 years or more. The material and construction of it is very good.

I have two herniated disks in my back and depending on where I am sleeping I will often wake up in pain and stiff in the morning, sometimes I will not be able to sleep at all in a bed because of it. The moment I got my Denver Mattress bed that all changed. I sleep pain free every night and I wake up without being in pain and stiff from my back. This bed is truly a life saver! Comfort This bed is very comfortable. The top is soft enough to prove a great level of comfort without being too soft or pillow like. Support This bed is very supportive but not hard so that it's not comfortable. Firmness For a firm bed this one acts like it but doesn't feel like it. When you lay down on the bed it cushions you and yet still proves the firmness and support to keep your back aligned and supported to keep it free of pain all night. Durability I have taken this bed with me all over the state when I have moved, nothing will keep me from having it with me and now that it's a few years old it is just as supportive today as the day I purchased it.

This is a great, comfortable mattress perfect for a good night's sleep. It is not too soft that you will wake up in the morning with your back aching, but also not too firm to the point of being hard and uncomfortable. I have slept on mattresses before that are either so firm that they are unbearable uncomfortable, or so soft that I wake up in the morning with my back extremely sore and aching. This mattress is a great "happy medium", and it is perfect for any people who have any kind of chronic back pain and other related problems. I sleep sometimes on my back, sometimes on my side, and sometimes on my stomach, and this mattress has always satisfied every way that I have ever slept. I have owned this mattress for a couple years, and it has held up quite nicely - no sinking in the middle, etc. I definitely recommend this mattress to anyone and everyone looking for a quality mattress!

I have had this mattress for about 7 years now, and I have been very highly pleased.  I guess the only thing you expect out of a mattress is a good night's sleep, and I have had no complaints with that.  Both my wife and I prefer a pretty firm mattress, so this one has been great in that it hasn't softened up over the years like some mattress will tend to do. I think the pricing from a Denver Mattress is also one of its biggest selling points, it is very reasonably priced and I fully expect it will last for quite a few more years.  Let's just say this, when this mattress finally does need to be replaced, I would have no second thoughts about buying another Denver Mattress again, and if they still have this exact model, I would just pick up another one.  I figure don't mess with something that is working, right? I have never tried the really expensive mattresses like the Tempur-Pedic, and those, so I can't comment on how it compares to those.

We purchased our Durango mattress from Denver Mattress company in the spring of 2010.  It is an amazing mattress with amazing quality.  It is quite the investment to purchase mattresses however one nights sleep on this mattress validated that we had made the correct investment.  The sales staff at Denver Mattress Company were excellent in helping us determine the correct mattress for our family.  My husband prefers a firmer sleep while I prefer a little softer feel.  The Durango mattress from Denver Mattress Company was perfect because while the base is firm the top layer is  soft and cushy!  As the salesperson described, you often times need the soft layer toh help you get to sleep...but a big part of staying asleep is staying comfortable and supported.  He hit the nail right on the head with that statement, because that is the key.  We also purchased the special pillows to go with the mattress and we enjoy them too!

I bought my Denver Mattress (Durango Firm model) when I lived in Denver.  However, don't let the name mislead you because Denver Matress has locations all over the US.  I have had this mattress for two years.  My husband, of course, wanted a firm bed.  I wanted a soft bed I could sink into.  The Durango Firm is the perfect combination of softness and support.  The mattress has a foam section on top and the springs are wrapped in foam.  So, there are no uncomfortable pressure points.  There are also no extra-conforming features such as those found in a memory foam mattress.  Denver Mattresses come with a 15 year limited warranty.  The mattress is cheaper since it comes directly from the manufacturers.  My sleep has improved since I bought this mattress (probably a little too much since I have a harder time leaving the bed in the morning).  Also, cleaning kits are available at Denver Mattress.  I would recommend getting one.  My cat vomited on my bed, and I was able to remove the stain without much effort.

I love my Durango Firm mattress. It provides firm support yet it isn't uncomfortable. Most firm mattresses I tried were too hard, yet the soft were too soft and hurt my back. I have had this mattress for almost 3 years and it still feels as great as it did the day I brought it home. It doesn't have springs so it doesn't poke. It has not shown any wear and tear. There is no sinking in the middle unlike other mattresses I have tried before. The price was good, not great, for the set of the mattress and the box spring. The sales people at Denver Mattress are extremely helpful and kind. They gave excellent customer service and I would highly recommend shopping there. My mattress is queen size, although I think it is a bit smaller than other queen size mattresses. My sheets are a little large for this mattress and they weren't for my old mattress. Be careful and protect the fabric of the mattress to avoid voiding the warranty.
