I like my vegetables to be slightly on the crunchy side and this one really comes through. It hasn't been cooked until it's soft and mushy like other products. I make a salad called "coditos" which is really elbow macaroni, a protein, and then some vegetables for flavor and crunch. Usually I buy regular whole kernel corn, which suffices, because in this recipe I don't have to heat it or cook it more. This corn stays crunchy and doesn't lose it's consistency even when you do heat it. I also used it as a side dish. It also tastes like you just went out and pulled it off the cob. I mean it tastes really fresh and good. I like Del Monte brand name items because I trust them for flavor, etc. This one is superior in every way. I love it.
