I bought the DeWalt 204 Piece Mechanics Tool Set at the recommendation of my father-in-law who is a professional mechanic. He would be my go-to guy for our family's cars except that he lives more than six hours away. I have had too many bad experiences with dishonest mechanics for minor issues and even major ones. Whenever possible, I wanted to be able to fix my car myself. I was also hoping to learn how to change my own oil, tires, etc. He recommended this kit, and I have really loved my other DeWalt products, so I bought the entire kit. I have to admit that it was a bit overwhelming and still is for the average car owner like me. However, I have found that every single piece that I could possibly need is in this set. I am still learning what many of the various sizes are for, and I'm not sure that I will ever use all of them, but I'm happier to be prepared. The hard case keeps all of the items protected from dirt and water and even dropping. It is a bit bulky, but it neatly keeps everything organized and within easy reach.

If you are a tool lover or if you know someone who is, the DeWalt 204 Piece Mechanics Tool Set is a great addition to any collection. If you're a do it yourself kind of person, this is a great tool kit to have in your arsenal. I am a huge fixer upper and builder, and I have yet to come across a job where I needed a certain sized wrench or socket or ratchet that wasn't contained within this kit. There are so many different applications for these tools that I feel it's a must have in every garage. While you of course can take them out and store them however you want to, the case they come in is big enough and secure enough to store them without any problem. Everything is neatly organized and you don't have any trouble finding the piece you are looking for, and it's not hard to figure out where they go when you're putting everything away. For what you're getting, I think this is a pretty good deal, any I think anybody would be happy to have it.
