I purchased this as a gift for my husband for his birthday last year. I can honestly say I probably use it more than him! The compact drill gets more use around the house for small items such as hanging pictures, fixing loose screws on doors and general maintenance. Using the drill and getting comfortable with it has given me confidence to tackle a project I have put off for the last two years, this spring I am tackling removing my kitchen cabinet doors and refinishing them this spring. My husband has used the impact driver and is very impressed with it's durability and strength. The combination of these in this set with handy carrying case is a MUST for any household. Much better than a rechargeable screwdriver, which we have used for years until getting this set. You will not need a bigger drill (or rechargeable screwdriver) if you have this set. A must for new homeowners.
