Overall, I found this to be a great tool. It is cordless, which makes it easy to use when there aren't any outlets easily available. Hello barn/shed! It has enough power to do most jobs, and it's steady power, not the hiccups you'll get when using cheap cordless tools. However, it can strip screws if the user isn't careful. Additionally, it takes some serious wrist strength when using it on something tough, like metal. The battery life is superior to many cordless power tools I've used. And it charges pretty quickly. Additionally, the battery packs can be switched out, allowing for extended use. It is light enough to use for extended periods of time, and the handgrip is surprisingly comfortable, even when drilling through rough material. It is made sturdily, my friends has had one for over 10 years, and the only sign of its age is some light scuffing. I would highly suggest this for anyone looking for a general-use tool.

THis has power and strength for the big jobs but also just the right sizes for the small jobs. It has interchangeable bits as my other one did and has an easy grip handle. I like the way that is has interchangeable battery packs and has a long charge. This one is more powerful and has a longer bettery life. It has the strength to screw in screws tightly on my wood fence around my yard when boards have to be replaced. It also is slow enough, and small enough to use it to screw the screws into my small wood chicken coop. It drives in screws evenly and slowly, but the drill bits are nice and sharp and work just as well. I have reworked fence posts and used the drill in the yard, but also with the chicken and duck coops. Being in the shed and coops it is plugged into an electrical out let but also using the battery packs if no power is around. Battery packs last quite a while and are easy to charge up for long use. I would recommend these for home repair, big or small jobs, or for construction work for men or women! Good product!

I love this thing. Quite possibly my favorite thing about this is the power it has for being cordless. It has been my experience that cordless doesn't have the same levels of power as corded. This one has proven me wrong, however. It gives me all the power I could want. That's the one thing I have to be careful of, because sometimes it can give you more power. This brings the power, and if you have something that needs to be done delicately, you are going to want to be careful or you could go too far or too fast and ruin what you're working on. More often than not I want the power, so this isn't a problem for me. This is sturdy, and light enough that you can use it for longer periods of time without having to put it down to give your arm a rest, but also not so light that I'm worried it's going to break. The trigger is nice sized, big enough that I don't have to worry about my finger slipping off and messing up what I'm working on.

I wasn't expecting much out of this DeWalt 1/2 in. (13mm) 18 V Cordless High-Torque Impact Wrench Kit because I bought it for cheap at a garage sale to use at work. Boy was I wrong! I have never used such a powerful drill. It has to be at least a couple of years old, looked to be used quite often, yet it was still better than the current drill I was using at work. It's heavier than most other drills I have used, probably because of the power behind the drill. I have to be careful when using this impact wrench because of the power, I have actually stripped the heads on screws because of tightening them too much. I've used this on Sheetrock also and the screw went all the way through the Sheetrock and into the board by a few millimeters. Once I got used to the speed and power this drill has to offer, it makes jobs and projects go much quicker. It can drill a whole in just about anything. Out of all the drills I own, this is my first choice where drilling on metal is concerned. I also used this the other day to fix a front porch deck. If I had been using another drill it would have taken me longer than a day, this zipped right through tightening the screw quickly and securely. The only thing I wished it had was variable speed, which can be quite useful sometimes. Since the Dewalt I own is used, I'm planning to buy another one brand new here very shortly. I highly recommend this impact wrench. If you have never used a Dewalt you will be surprised, but also thrilled with it.
