We purchased our first Dacor cooktop burner a few months ago.  While the Dacor 6 burner gas cooktop cost a little more than I wanted to pay....I'm not disappointed.  This cook top has been a dream machine. Granted, I'm not going to tell you that it will make you into a perfect chef, or even a good cook.  But you can rest assured that your food will cook evenly.  It's a brilliant piece of engineering.  I don't know about you, but I hate cleaning my stove top.  This design makes cleanup a breeze.  The spill proof basin keeps most spillage contained. I can simply pull the grills off the burner, use a wee bit of elbow grease, and presto.  My stove top is sparkling again.  I love the simmer plate, I don't know about most people, but I like to cook my rice from scratch.  No rice cooker for me.  Using this even flamed dacor cook top, along with the simmer plate, allows my rice to be cooked perfectly every single time.  If you don't have Gas for cooking, I highly recommend it.  If you don't have a Dacor brand cook top...you are missing out.  Invest in both, you won't regret it.
