Although, this product does have a strong odor and stings on application, it works to both keep superficial wounds sealed and waterproof. One reviewer that questioned the products value does raise valid points about the application being messy, and the perceived "toxicity" of the fume, but does not take into account that this product is durable withstanding soap washing and - at least from my biochemical/biological background - is effective as bandage material. The ingredients: Poly (Methacrylate-Isobutene-Mono-isopropylmaleate), Ethyl Acetate, Pentane, Menthol, Carbon Dioxide Overall, this product is a good buy especially in situation where durability is desired such as climbing and general outdoor excursions.
