Awesome little grill! I especially trust the Cuisineart name, so was excited to get this grill for a pretty good deal! Performance I was very pleased! Did everything a grill should. Has two racks in it--one for your goodies to be grilled, and another to keep the charcoal in place and keep anything from falling into the coals! Has two vents that open and close for air control, a very handy locking lid, and even a tray below to catch ash and coals! Versatility It has a pretty good sized grill surface for a portable grill--we cooked up an entire package of hot dogs, and they had plenty of space to grill. You could use this at home, or carry it with you with the carry handle and just lock the lid on. Ease of Use It was very easy to set up, and soon has a nice toasty fire in it for grilling. The locking sides took a little bit of time to get adjusted right so they were tight, but no problem once they were. Lightweight, easy to carry, easy to set up, and self contained. Ease of Cleaning Well, as good as any grill can get. Cleaning the wire rack is going to be a pain no matter what, ha ha! The ash pan is a bit awkward, but easy enough to clean. Durability I haven't really used it long enough to know, but the metal is surprisingly heavy, and the grill is pretty sturdy. Design I really love how it looks, the locking lid, double racks, and ash pan. A couple of things could be improved--putting it together took awhile, since it was not even remotely assembled, so expect that. The grilling surface would be more secure if it had a wider rim to hold it, but I didn't encounter any problems, and the ash tray wobbled a bit, but...again--you aren't really using it for anything. Overall, I love this grill, and can't wait to go on a another picnic with it!
