On the go

More so lately, I am becoming a big fan of drink sticks. Among the many varieties out there, Crystal Light Pure Fitness is one of the few that stand out in my mind the most. Crystal Light Pure Fitness is so great because there is absolutely no artificial sweeteners included in it's ingredients. I don't consider it a diet drink and, that is probably what stands out the most to me. Crystal light Pure does not have any unpleasant after taste and it also lacks that all to well known saccharine taste to it. Out of all the flavors I enjoy the tropical blend. It has a fresh fruity punch sort of taste. The dominant fruit in the tropical blend is cherry. In my opinion, it is a high quality beverage with a lot going for it. It is excellent for on the go and it allows you to switch up your normal bottled water routine. The Crystal light pure fitness comes in a 7 pack. I thought that was odd. Drink sticks usually come in four, eight or ten packs. The only thing I don't like about them is that there are currently only 5 flavors to choose from. I would definitely like to see Crystal Light increase their flavor variety. That is probably the only improvement that I would suggest. I recommend this beverage for people who don't wish to drink beverages with artificial sweeteners.

Great on the Go no After taste

5

Just tried this product for the first time and am really enjoying the light flavor without all the after taste of artifical sweetner. I feel good about tossing a few of these into the car of baseball bag so the kids can have something sweet that counts as a water without all the artifical ingredients that we do not want them to have on a regular basis. I have been very pleased with the product as have my not so easy to please children. Thanks to Crystal Light for making a family friendly product that we all can enjoy!

Crystal Light Pure Fitness is great

I love Crystal Light Pure Fitness in the lemon and grape flavors. I always keep water bottles in my house in two different sizes, the 16 ounce size and the larger sport bottle sizes. Both sizes work well (in my opinion) with 1 packet of powder and then a few splendas added for sweetness. I liked propel water and gatorade flavors previous to discovering this product but since discovering this product I have found no need to buy these expensive pre-made sports drinks. Instead I just buy the regular Zephyrhills water bottles and add whatever flavor I feel like having on that particular day. If you add the grape and about 2 splendas, you can make a grape soda using carbonated water as well! Its really nice to be able to take it with me and make any water bottle a little special with very little calories.

Love this stuff...totally increases my water intake!

I love Crystal Light Pure Fitness in both the grape & kiwi (I didn't care for the lemon). I can drink a 16.9 oz bottle of water down in minutes with the Crystal Light in it, thus I have totally increased my water intake. I love the fact that it has no aspartame in it, as I believe that aspartame contributes to obesity via metabolic syndrom and it gives me headaches. This has allowed me to kick my aspartame addiction. You can make it sweeter by adding it to less water or the opposite with more water. It definately tastes better cold. I noticed no aftertaste with the grape or kiwi but the lemon was yucky in my opinion. I just hope that the sales are good on this product and it doesn't get taken off the market.

I love this stuff. I take it with me every where and it is not just for me it is for the whole family. It is great to see the kids chugging down the water and it adds little to no calories to the day.

I was extremely excited to try this new product when it came out a few months ago, I loved the branding, the concept and I've been looking for a way to get more water without drinking in the extra calories.  My local grocery store had a sale on them, and only had grape.  Grape sounded great to me so I bought three boxes.  Well...lets just say that there are still two and a half boxes left from that original purchase.  I have not tried the other flavors, but after trying the Grape I have to say that I am really not motivated to try any of the others.  My first experience trying it I used the exact amount of water recommended and mixed the drink thoroughly.  I'm not sure how to put it exactly, but the drink had a fibery texture and was maybe a bit salty or "fake" sweet.  While this might be what some people are used to in regards to the little packets to make flavored water, but somehow the name "pure" made me think the drink would be smooth, light and refreshing.  After this initial drink all I wanted was a glass of water.  The grape aspect of it wasn't really that bad, but it was definitely overpowered by the sweetening and the texture.  To give it a fair chance, I diluted the drink the second time I prepared and drank it, I thought maybe with a little less sweet and a little less texture, it would be delightful.  It was BETTER, but not good enough for me to be motivated to buy it again.  While I realize many people will enjoy it, it just wasn't what I expected nor is it something that I enjoyed enough to drink.

Best Drink Mix Available!

I normally drink just plain water because so many of the low or zero calorie drinks bother my stomach.  I wanted to drink something low calorie but I just couldn't tolerate anything!  I received a sample of Crystal Light Pure Fitness from another site and it not only tasted fantastic but it didn't upset my tummy :)  Now I am hooked!  I cannot wait for Noon to get here so I can drink my favorite drink.  It doesn't contain any artificial sweeteners, flavors or preservatives.  I work in a busy lobby and everyone seems to notice my bottle of water is usually yellow (for the lemon-lime) or purple (for the grape) and I'm always quick to tell them exactly what I am drinking.  I was giving out packets to people I know really well but that got a little overwhelming (and I kept running out) so now I just show them the box!  Several have told me they tried it and loved it just as much as I do!  This is definitely a product I recommend!!!!!

Great flavor with no aftertaste!

This was surprisingly terrific!  I tried it thinking it would be at best like any other low calorie drink mix that's out there.  I have to admit this was so much better than I could have expected.  Even the flavor I had the most reservations about ended up being quite tasty.  I definitely added this to my shopping list after trying it!

Horrible after taste

1

I received this product as a sample in all three flavors. I was excited about it because I love that it has electrolytes and is only 15 calories! After drinking half of the strawberry-kiwi flavored one I decided it is not even worth the 15 calories. Imagine Gatorade extremely watered down with a horrible after taste, that is what it tastes like.  I couldn't even finish drinking it and threw it away. I hate wasting things and will usually just get my husband to finish certain things for me. He eats anything, but he took one sip of the strawberry-kiwi flavored one and spit it out! Do not waste your money on this product, or at least try a different flavor than the strawberry-kiwi. My husband and I do not plan on trying the other flavors and for now the two other samples are collecting dust in the cupboard.

Crystal Light-Pure Fitness...slightly dissappointed

3

I received a cool package of three Crystal Light Pure Fitness packets in the mail.  I generally drink water but was excited to try something new that was low calorie and low sugar.  The flavors were lemonade, grape, and strawberry kiwi which all appealed to me.  At first glance, I was excited because it looked like Pure Fitness did not have an artificial sweetner in it...just cane juice.  After tasting how sweet it was, logic told me that had to be wrong for only 30 calories and 3 grams of sugar for 16 oz.  Apparently there is a less known artificial sweetner (derived from Stevia) that slipped by my eye.  This is where I get really dissappointed with the marketing and packaging.  NO WHERE on the package does it ever mention "artificial sweetner."  In fact, the words "a natural sweetner" appear next to the ingredient, rebiana, which is apparently an artificial sweetner.  The slogan "quench your thirst without compromise" is also misleading.  The phrase, "too good to be true" comes to mind. However, I did like the taste and others in my house enjoyed it.  I'm still trying to decide if I would let my kids drink it.  I did not notice an aftertaste but the drinks are pretty sweet.
