My first washer lasted 31 years. This Crosley broke down at 15 months and after that repair had the bearings going out since it was 7.5 years and sounds like a jet engine taking off in my laundry room. Now something when clunk and it is leaking. Only made it 9 years and there are only two old people using it so not much use like it would be with a growing family.

I thought we were getting the top line washer. I was very disappointed to see the dark stains on the door boot seal. I initially thought it was oil, but learned it was mold, and it does not go away. It dries in the rubber of the door boot seal.

The Crosley front loading washer was more reasonably priced than many of the other front loading machines I looked at.  It has done an excellent job & held up very well.  It is gentle on the clothes & yet spins out the rinse water.  It seems to use very little water for the entire wash/rinse cycle.

We are renting a home and the owners just replace their washer with a new Crosley. I am flabergasted at what an incredibly poor job this machine did on a load of whites. The underarms of my husbands t-shirts are gross, our underwear looks like I just rinsed them in the sink, and one of my cotton shirts has the same dirt on the front as when I put it in. I don't know how I am ever going to live with this useless machine for the next few months. Don't waste your money! You have to put the soap in the bottom, immediately load your clothes on top of it (which I NEVER do as clothes immediately in contact with detergent compromises the durability and color of clothing), then start the machine, after which it immediately locks so that you cannot throw in something you might have forgotton. If I have to re-wash my clothes, can someone explain to me exactly how I am saving water and energy????

the crosley front load washer is easy to use. it has multiple setting for all types of laundry. with the added base it is all right there at a friendly height. plus it is eco friendly. it does not use much water at all, trust me i sat there and watched it through a complete cycle. it is a knockoff of electrolux, but probably just as good, but with a better price tag.

At first I hesitated to buy a washer that was  not one of the top name brands.  After careful review of price, function and quality we did  purchase this washer.  Now with seven kids we do a lot of laundry and I must say that this machine has held up th the challenge.  Since it is a high efficency washer it uses much less detergent than our previous washer and can handle the large loads.  Also I was worried with active boys that the clothes wouldn't be has clean.  To my pleasant surprise the clothes come out surprisingly clean.  We also purchased the pedestals for the washer.  Although the Pedstals make it very convient for loading and unloading the washer as the height keeps you from having to bend over.  I was disappointed that the pedestals are only high priced stands for the washer and dryer.  there is no storage drawers underneath.  This has been the only draw back.  This washer has all the typical settings you expect for delicates, whites and colors.  Over all we are happy with our purchase and glad that we didn't over spend on a washer.

I bought a Crosley CFW4000FW1 Front Loading washing machine 10/09 every seems OK until now. 2/10.  The gasket that seals the door has developed black mold and an awful smell, which also affect my clothes.  Apparently it does not drain all the water out between washings.  I had a Frigidaire Gallery front loading washing machine for 11 years prior to this and it ran with no problems like this.  Sure wish I had it back!

Recently bought Crosley front load washing machine CFW8000G.  I was torn between this and a Samsung model, but this one was priced about 10% lower than the Samsung.  After close to 6 weeks, I am SOOOO glad I went with this washer.  Very quiet, very sleek operation.  Large drum.  Easy to use.  It's everything I was looking for in a washer.
