Our local Crate and Barrel store is no longer very local and I prefer online shopping so I thought this would be a match for the ages. I was looking for bowls and plates to supplement my daily set which has long been discontinued. Who knew I was going to find amazing cereal bowls and plates on sale at C&B.com? They were such a great price it would be just wrong not to purchase them. The site itself isn't particularly notable for speed, organization or search features. I think I lucked into what I wanted because the inventory of what is online is kind of slim. Shipping was not free, but it was reasonable. My checkout information indicated I would receive the items in 5-7 business days. I received them in two! The packaging was secure and everything arrived in one piece. So why they low score? The plates all had an interior and visibile flaw. They were not marked as seconds on the website. I called C&B and after waiting on the phone for about 15 minutes I talked with a very nice customer service rep. She offered to send more plates, but couldn't promise I wouldn't have the same problem. She offered to send them immediately, pay for the shipping on both the new order and the order I would return. I had unpacked everything at this point. Sending 16 plates back was going to be difficult because the original box would be too large and I certainly couldn't be sure they would arrive in one piece so C&B could see the problem. I asked for a price adjustment which was denied. I asked for a gift card to be put towards a future purchase. They wouldn't do that either. I kept the plates and just try to make sure the flaws are covered when I serve food. Just be sure that you know exactly what you want when you order online because they are completely non-negotiable if you have a problem with the order.

With a new house, we needed some home decor and outside furniture. We were able to find some good products of both that look good and will serve their purpose well. I have been very pleased with this site and would be very willing to come back and buy some more. Ease of Use The site is laid out well and easy to navigate. They emphasize their current "best deals" on the main pages, but you can find the other similar products pretty easily for comparison. Product Selection I was very pleased with the wide variety of grilling utensils and accessories that I was able to find on this site. It's been a lot of fun using what we found. Shipping and Returns The biggest negative about crateandbarrel.com is that the shipping costs go up the more money you spend. I understand that more products cost them more to ship, but the majority of stores offer free shipping after you have spent a certain amount of money. It would be nice if this site did as well instead of charging you more shipping for spending more money.

I absolutely LOVE Crate & Barrel.com. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this website, and NO - I don't work here! I live nowhere NEAR a Crate & Barrel - so, for me, it's the website. They have EVERYTHING you could dream of and more - and it's such a fun fun fun place to shop. The website is categorized by furniture, bath, decor, kitchen, dining, outdoor, etc... and then there is the "sale" tab. All of their products are fun, amazing and I seriously could talk all day. I have purchased my King size bed frame and bedding here, bath products, fall decor items, plates, platters, glasses - LOTS. I always find tons of fun holiday decor and dishes during Christmastime - and I am always pleased with the quality of the product. Now, the "sale" tab. This is the section of the website that offers the sale items - obviously - but there is always an "outlet" subcategory that offers the same Crate & Barrel products at outlet pricing. They always offer specials on shipping, especially during the holidays - where they ship a majority of items for free during a specific window of time. Otherwise, they always have flat rate shipping on mostly everything else. It's just an overall great place to shop, with quality items and EXCELLENT customer service. Probably one of my favorite places to shop, and NO, I don't work here! Customer Service I have had to call to speak with customer service a few times over the years, and every single time I am so impressed with how polite and helpful they are - and they just always go out of their way to correct whatever issue it is that I am having. I love Crate and Barrel. I have used them numerous times and have never been disappointed. They have a registry that is easy to use and convenient for those shopping either for you, or you are shopping for. I used this site as one of my wedding registries years ago and many guests loved being able to go online to browse through my checked items and be able to purchase from home. I am a frugal shopper and am pleased that they have a sale section on their website. They aren't the cheapest site to shop from, but they always have good sales. I would recommend Crate and Barrel for home decor of any kind. They have unique, well-made products. I would say it's one of the few online stores I have come across that has items made out of the best products and have never heard of or seen a ''bad'' item on their site. Shipping rates are pretty aveerage, going from $5 up to $20, roughly, depending on the amount of your purchase.

I grew up going to crate and Barrel because my mom was and still is an avid shopper there. I would imagine myself living in each of the different decorated rooms. I still think it's fantastic and this website is a great source for that. I love browsing through and seeing future things I want to buy. They also have great sales available online. I put many items onto my wedding registry and ended getting a lot of crate and barrel items. Any of these items make great gifts because they are fine quality! Also they are a lot of unique items that you wouldn't find at a lot of furniture/appliance stores. Also what's great is a lot of stuff ships free, which is nice because most of this is very heavy, fragile items. Another thing I really like about the website is Gifts under $50. A great first place to look for those Christmas gifts, wedding, birthday, anniversary for people you may not know exactly what to get or where to start looking for them.

The CrateandBarrel.com site has amazing things for a bride-to-be or for a wedding. I am not getting married or going to a wedding, but this store still has products I can buy too. They have many things for the home, that will brighten up any room. They have really pretty and elegant dinning products. I love their dishes, glasses, bowls, plates etc. They have a lot of variety to choose from. Whether you need things for a dinner table or for dinning, your table will look like you are from a royal family. The designs and patterns they sell for most of their products are tres chic and unique. The drawback is the items they sell can be pricey. I have bought many things from them over the years, and they still look new. I am one of those people who likes to buy things on sale or clearance, and they have some really good deals. I love to shop online after Thanksgiving and after Christmas. Well, who doesn't? The customer service from them over the phone is delightful. Anyway, everything I have bought from this place has been pretty, effective and durable. Whenever I can, I will shop at this store.

I love Crate and Barrel furniture.It is sturdy and made of high quality materials that I know will last a long time.It is somewhat more expensive than buying from a local warehouse or outlet.I have come to realize though that buying from those compared to Crate and Barrel has turned out to be like throwing money in the garbage.I don't sacrifice on style and them either.Most of the furniture has a classic and laidback feel that blends into just about all settings and color schemes.The color selection is kind of limited,but nothing for me to complain about.This is more of my style than the louder colors.I really enjoy the 3d room designer.It is the most useful tool I have seen a furniture store offer for room decorating.It made it so realistic and I was no longer lost or had to wing it while matching the furniture for our home.I am a very picky person so that app is just perfect for someone like me.

I only purchased from crateandbarrel.com because I found a storage bench I couldn't find anywhere else. Their prices are extremely expensive, but I got a new bedroom set, including a bed set, so I wanted to find a storage bench to place at the end of the bed. The bedroom set I got was made of wood and it was hard to find the exactly color match on the wood that I had. Crate and Barrel had the closest match to the color of wood I needed on the storage bench so I ended up purchasing it there. It cost me $450 which is a lot more than I wanted to spend, but at least the color did end up matching and finishing off my nice, new bedroom set. The storage bench was very sturdy and had plenty of nice cabinets to store things. It wasn't just the type of storage bench that could be opened up at the top, but there were actual drawers and cabinets in front of it. Overall, I was happy with my purchase, but the delivery time was a bit on the slow side....took about 10-12 days for me to receive my order after placing it online.
