I have to say I absolutely love the Crane Heating and Air Conditioning cow humidifier. It is just too cute first off. We have this humidifier in our nineteen month old daughters room and it has worked out great. She tells her moo cow good night every evening before bed. As far as performance we have been extremely pleased with it. It puts off a cool mist and helps keep the air in her room from being too dry. Do not let the cute and wonderfully thought out design of the crane humidifier fool you, it has an amazing volume output. The clean up of the crane cow humidifier is also really easy and stress free. The durability of the crane cow humidifier has been great. The motor seem to stand up to a lot of usage without any strain or effort. We were so impressed by this humidifier that we purchased one for our new baby's room as well. I would definately recommend the crane brand humidifiers to family and friends.

I love this humidifier...I could have bought a traditional humidifier but I bought this one because its irresistably cute!! Don't be fooled by how cute it is though because it also works great!!! Output Volume Works very efficiently. Humidifies a room very quickly. Performance Works great..fast and easy to operate! bRuns very quietly. Helps to ease congestion and stuffy sinuses...has helped me feel so much better since I have been using it!! Ease of Cleaning Not hard to clean..have never had a problem with keeping it clean..no mold growth at all Durability Very durable..I knocked it over one time by accident and there was no damage at all. Design How can you not think this is sooo totally adorable?? It is a cute design for kids but I love it as an adult too!!!

We purchased this humidifier for our infant daughter 2.5 years ago because she was getting sick with a cold. The humidifier that we previously had was impossible to clean, extremely loud, and hard to fill up. After reading reviews about this Crane humidifier, we decided to give it a try and we're glad we did! First, it is really quiet, just a low humming sound. It's easy to adjust with the turn of the knob and has several settings. It is easy to fill up as the water compartment (the head) is shaped to fit nicely in your bathroom sink. It's pretty easy to clean. Lastly, it's super cute with the humidity coming out of the ears - oh and yes, it does a great job of humidifying. Output Volume The amount of output can be increased or decreased with the dial. There were many settings, all appropriate for our child's bedroom. The output volume was great for her room. Performance It performs well. It humidifies the room and it does it quietly. Ease of Cleaning Cleaning humidifiers is no fun, but cleaning this humidifier is as easy as it gets. As long as you stay on top of the cleaning, it is a breeze. There aren't any gross filters that you have to deal with, which makes it nice. Durability It's very durable. We've had this unit for about 2 years and it's held up, even with a toddler playing with it. Design It's designed well. The humidity comes out of the ears and is very cute. The water is housed in the head and it fits nicely in the bathroom sink to fill up.

I recently got this for our daughter's nursery. I must say it works well as it should be doing. There is no noise, just a cool mist flows into air. I have used this on level 4 -5 to start wuth and have seen light mist flowing into the air. If you increase the intensity it gives a thicker stream but we have not tried that level yet. This also works well in keeping the temperature of the room cool. as winters may dry you skin, this definitely helps to keep it the way its comfortable. The good thing is that I can set the speed/ intensity of the mist. The humidifier looks great and is of fun design. I hope our daughter loves it even when she has grown up a bit.Its easy to use. I would definitely recommend it.

We have had our cow humidifier for over three years, and it still works great! I love that it humidifies the room without heating the water. I don't have to worry about the possibility of steam burns on my little ones. I do, however, have to worry about my baby pushing the cow head off and playing in the water. :) The humidifier is very quiet. Adjusting the flow level is easy, and the power light turns from green to red when the water level gets too low. The only downside is the same downside all humidifiers have: it's kind of a pain to clean. There are a few places where I need to use a cotton swab or cloth on the end of a knife to get them clean. Be sure to wash the black O-ring on the base on a regular basis if you have hard water, or you will start to get some mineral build up. Our water isn't very hard, and it took a month of constant running for it to happen to ours. Overall, I'm very pleased with this humidifier and highly recommend it.

I got one of these Cow humdifiers for my teenage neice who loves cows for some odd reason (lol) ... I have to admit it is very cute and works really well to add moisture to the dry heated air in the winter months.  And she loves it ... the mist comes out of the ears in a steady stream but doesn't seem to go that high into the air so I wasn't sure how far the mist is really going to reach and if it is able to humidify the entire room. Well, we got the elephant one as a gift for my toddler (not as cute and mist comes out of the snout) and I can tell you it reaches everywhere in the room.  How I know this is the fact that after the first night's use white powder stuff was all over our room, even though I used the filter.  it was a little alarming and I wasn't too pleased but it did seem to really help my daughter when she was sick. Now after using it a few more times, I don't see the dust anymore and it's super easy to use and works pretty well though now I notice a loud dripping noise but it's not leaking.  It's pretty quiet and doesnt' keep her up so that's important. When my daughter has a bad cough or is congested, it really does help her to breath and she stops coughing right away so I'm sold on it!  So far so good!

We have this cow humidifier in my daughter's room. My girls love it and it matches their pink room and looks like a display on their dresser as apose to a humidifier. I love that it is gender neutral; I can find another spot for it in the house without it looking out of place. So far I haven't had any problems with mold or mildew. I had to get rid of my other humidifier because it was filled with mold and there was no possible way to clean it. There are no sharp corners mostly rounded sections so I'm hoping it will be easy to clean when it's neccessary. The instructions tell you that you need to replace the filter every 11 re-fills of water. I wish that you get more life out of the filter. The machine is super quiet, so barely can hear it. I actually wish it had a little bit of a humm because I find my kids will sleep better with it. The water has been easy to fill with no mess whats so ever. I wish they could have made it a little bit smaller, it seems to take up quite a bit of room on their dresser. Overall I definitley would recommend it, it works well and sure beats looking at ugly humidifiers.

I bought these because I had young children and needed something to match their bedrooms. The frog character was the first one I bought and it is still running, after 5 years. The cow was the second purchase, bought a couple of years later, and that one died after using it 2.5 years. The machine really cranks out the water vapor and it is fun to look at. It will run all night before it needs to be refilled, which is a major plus. The only negative thing is that it tends to collect mold easily (it IS a humidifier, after all) and I clean it regularly. It doesn't have any mold in the water reservoir, only in the base unit. It is the slimy, clear gel kind... not a black mold. I've had no other issues besides this and the frog is still in use as I type!

Our daughter is literally obsesed with this humidifer.  I bought it as a "fun" addition to her room, since our pediatrician said a humidifier could help her sleep more easily during the cold and flu season.  It's quite easy to use.  You just fill up the tank every few days and it blows steam out of the ears.  It's pretty quiet too.  Our ten-month old daughter loves to point at it and try to say "cow" and we always make a big deal out of saying good night to the cow before she goes to sleep.  I'd definitely recommend this over the more boring looking humidifiers out there for kids' rooms.  My one complaint is that where the tank empties into the device gets gunky pretty easily, so you have to clean it about once a week.  I don't know if that's the case with other humidifiers since this is the first one I've ever owned, but it seems like there shouldn't be that much standing water there.

I received this cow humidifer as a gift, and placed it in my son's room to help keep his room from being too dry.  He loved his "moo" and it seemed to do the job.  It is not the quietest humidifer I have ever owned, but it is really pretty quiet.  To get something quieter you are going to have to shell out a lot more money.  I love the fact that it does not require a filter that has to be changed.  That is easier and saves a lot of money in the long run.  It is simple to clean.  The design of the cow seems to deliver water out in a good manner to get moisture in the air rather than puddling on the furniture it sits on.  I wish it filled from the top rather than the bottom of the water case, but I have found that "problem" with a lot of the humidifers I have liked.  I guess this design helps me remember to clean it too rather than let that slide.  I wish the cord were a little longer, but with an extension cord I was able to solve that problem.  Unfortunately, when I lost a part, a replacement (plus shipping) was more than I would like to pay.  All in all, a good humidifier and a good price, especially on sale.
