Battery lasted just over a year before the charger began flashing red that the battery was defective. Drill overall saw very steady but light use. The DIEHARD that is printed on the battery pack needs to be taken off. Looked at new battery pack but they are more than what I paid for the drill brand new. I also found that the keyless chuck on the drill was had to tighten if you have larger hands and the ribs were almost too smooth to grab. Usually had a very hard time getting drill bits to stay tightened in the chuck though driver bits weren't as much of an issue. Would be nice if the brake would hold the chuck in place to tighten instead of easily moving, making it a challenge to get both hands on the small chuck. The drill is well balanced with the battery pack. It could use more on board driver storage though. Power wise the drill seemed to have more than enough before the battery became defective. Which from reading other reviews seems to be common.
