we own most of these craftsman 19.2 v tools shown here.most of them are the original set- the ones that came out first not the newer ones. although we have the newer charger and i really like that because it tells you if the batteries are bad. they are heavy duty and can take a beating- they are a bit heavy-i hear the newer ones are lighter. a must have for the handyman or handywoman in the house. i like the better than any other brand of tool- i know craftsman will stand behind any product it makes. they work great the overall battery life seems to last for a few years. i am now just replacing the batteries we have been using since 2008 or earlier. these are great tools to just grab and go, i believe that this set comes with a hard case to keep the tools in which is really nice. like i said i bought most of mine seperatly and most of those came with their own cases too. the one tool that i was not impressed with was the flashlight-worked great for some time then when we changed the light bulb the flashlight stopped working-almost like it burt up or something. overall these tools will not disappoint you at all and are worth the investment.

I love this product. I have a damaged right hand and me being right handed it is very hard for me to just screw things into walls, or sheetrock screw. So I use this product a whole lot and it is very dependable. And you can carry it everywhere you go along with the charger! I do most of my house repairs on my own and I like to always get the products that will help me and be easier on my hand. At firt I had to keep barrowing tools from freinds to do the the things I did to do around the house. So I got tired of it and I invested in the Craftsman C3 19.2-volt 17 pc. Ultimate Combo Kit. I will never leave home without it.

The craftsman 19.2 volt drill is grate the battrery last over a year. I got the drill at KMart over 4 years ago an the battery still work with out a charge. Like that thay have over 30 items can be use with the 19.2 battery. The drill is grate large an handle grate. work all time. Had a black and decker the worse drill. Wont hold a charge for a mouth, It broke down in 3 years cant get other battery for it the worst drill and cant use with other item in black and decker. Wont use are buy black and decker at all. Got a 19.2 volt caulk gun I have not use it but look grate. Will buy a 19.2 volt hand saw and mite get other item with 19.2 volt items. Cratsman are grate I have over 10 cratsman item for over 40 years. Will buy Cratsman for the net 100 years.

I almost have all of the tools in this kit and i am very happy with all of them. The only issue I have is there is not a snake light and the sawzaw has a safety which other brands do not. I will actually trim my trees with the sawzaw 3 charged battery and a hoodie. I put the 2 batteries in  the hoodie pocket, climb the tree with the saw and 3rd battery and go to work on it. when the battery runs low I drop it to the ground and reload a fresh one. I have 7 batteries total so it makes it easier but it is way easier to pull out the sawzaw than a chainsaw for a smaller job.

I have many of the Craftsman 19.2 tools and they great. The drills are powerful enough to put a 3" lag bolt into a 4"x4" pole ! Drill can be adjusted for desired torque to set or countersink a screw in wood. The setting options are nice. The sawsall will cut continuously on a fresh battery for upwards of 45 minutes to an hour ! I have used the flashlight literally for hours on a single charge. The life of these batteries are unbelievable. I recently built a 40x90 arage and new home 45x66 and I used my Craftsmen 19.2 tools throughout the Project. After almost daily rigorous use for over 2 years, I just lost recharging capabilities in 1 of my 3 batteries, very good I think for the 100s of hours of use, they were not pampered ! Nice tools and good longevity, defintely recommended. A great value.

The craftsman c3 tool kit offers a versatile assortment of tools to perform any variety of projects.  Best of all you can use the battery on a whole host of other tools outside the kit.  I have since bought the nail gun and another tool that escapes me right now but all tools in the C3 line have ample power to complete the most intensive projects and charge relatively quickly.

I own many of the tools in this set and have had very good success using them in many circumstances. They are rough and tumble and have plenty of power and battery life. My complaints have been with tool longevity. I have burned up drills and saw by Craftsman, long before I have burned up my Rigid, Porter Cable, or Dewalt versions that see the same abuse. For the price of the tools, they perform neck and neck on a power and performance basis, with the higher end branded tools. My only main reason for not giving them a higher rating is that ergonomically the Craftsman tools are not as comfortable to use for a long day. They tend to be heavy and not well balanced, but if you are a weekender or do it yourselfer, these tools will not disappoint on the job or in the pocket book.

Most tools work great for around the house jobs. The light, which I thought would be useless, is one of the most useful tools. Some of the smaller kits and individual pieces can be purchased with much larger discounts with sales and Craftsman Club specials.
