This drill has proven to be a great tool. Built a fence with my father, who had his Kobalt drill to help. Not only did my drill last longer (try 30 mins more) but it never felt cumbersome and the bits stayed put. My dad even asked to use it. I also love the quick 10 min charge it needs. Talk about getting back to work right away! Even my petite wife can use this drill but it does get heavy for her after a while. So far I have the bolt on saw and that worked nice for trimming a door piece. I'm sure more use will come with more accessories.

Craftsman Bolt-On Max Drive is probably one of my favorite tools I own. It offers incredible versatility. It's light weight and easy to store but it offers much more than that. It's battery is long lasting but only takes 30 minutes to recharge. Since it is one of the Bolt-On line tools I am glad I can continue to build my collection by simply buying the other affiliated Bolt-On attachments. I have used it twice since I first received it and can say it has a very easy to grab, stable base. Besides that, I felt a real nice ability to handle it without applying too much pressure. It didn't make the job I was doing seem all that difficult at all. The Lithium Ion Battery is easy to take out in comparison to other tools I owned previously. Another great feature is it's auto shut off if the drill bit gets stuck. This feature could also be a real pain but, I enjoy it because I owned a similar tool in the past and the motor burned out as a result of the drill bit getting stuck and me attempting to free it by repressing the motor. Tools are too expensive to blow out like that so I see the auto shut off as added protection. The only issue I have with it is that it lacks the power of most slightly larger drills and I can actually stop the drill with my hand without applying too much pressure. This isn't a drill you'd likely use effectively for construction stuff but around the house or other hobby similar jobs will work out just fine.

My dad is your stereotypical handyman type, so when his go to drill died on him last summer, I got this for him as a replacement tool and he absolutely loves it. I've worked with him on a few woodworking projects and I have to say, that even as a novice, this drill is super easy to handle. I was really nervous that It someone wasn't going to be able to handle the thick wood we were working with but it went through like it was nothing and at the same time, we were able to use in on more delicate wood without accidentally cracking anything. One of the things I know he really likes about the Craftsman Bolt-On™ 20V Max Lithium Ion Drill is that it has a really impressive battery life in comparison to a lot of the other tools he's used that are similar. If you're a casual handyman who loves tools or are looking to get something for someone who is, this drill is a fantastic choice.

As a woman in a break up, you quickly lose all access to the tools you were once so accustomed and I knew a drill needed to be my first purchase. my family is lifelong Craftsman users- so I knew this was the drill I wanted. The thing I love most about the drill is that it is lightweight, my wrists don't get sore when using for a long period of time. It has an excellent battery life- good enough for projects and a few misc. uses without a charge- this is rare for most drill- they always seem to be dying. The best quality this drill has going for it is the torque. Boy, is this drill powerful. I am an DIYer and I use this thing for EVERYTHING. From remodeling thrift store furniture to drilling holes in pumpkins. This drill has worked for every use I have needed it for. the best part of buying a Craftsman power tool is their reputation, they do not disappoint.

I do a lot of home improvement for myself and friends and family and I've worn out other drills, so I needed a new one. I saw this one and like the features and really liked the price too. I first used this amazing drill when I put up a back porch on my house. I loved how easy it went through wood while I drilled boards. I was also impressed by how easily it screwed in screws for other parts of my project. And the battery life was really good. I went through a whole day without having to charge it. I charged it anyway, but I still had some juice left in it after extensive use. It's also very easy to change the drill bit, which is kind of complicated with other electric drills. This one makes that job so easy and no pinching of fingers, which I hated with other drills. The grip is also pretty good and didn't cause me to cramp up like some other power drills have in the past. I highly recommend this drill.

I bought this "powerful" drill for my husband for Christmas and since then I don't think he ever stopped using it in the garage and in the house. This drill has everything-the bits for all sizes to fit every different screw or nut needed. Of course, I can't tell him I used it a few times!! The 20-volt lithium drive is very, very powerful and no other drill can beat it on the market. The Best thing about Craftsman tools is that no matter how old the tool is and something goes wrong with it--Sears will Always replace it with a new one.

I am a fan of this particular drill. First of all, this drills battery pack seems to last forever. I can charge the battery up overnight so I don't notice that it is being charged, and the next day I can use it for hours on end without any issues. The 20 volt battery seems to keep going and going. I can switch uses easily with this tool too. I notice that I can just switch out attachments and keep going. In one day, I used this drill to cut out three different door knob holes, remove several hundred star shaped screws, install several hundred new screws, install some hinges, put up a banister, work on my stairs, install some roofing, and install a new cabinet in my bathroom. It literally just keeps a charge all day long. The 20 volt is heavy duty and it has a variety of attachments. It isn't too heavy but I do have a little trouble using it lefty (I'm right handed). The attachments are easy to interchange and it comes with some extra long attachments so I can get into harder to reach spaces. Overall, it was a great buy.

This is an amazing drill. I do a lot of wood working and this drill has helped me cut down on time so much. I have no problem drilling a hole through the toughest two by four. And it does a great job on thinner pieces of wood, not leaving it with a crack near the hole. I also do lots of other things that require a screwdriver and this drill does a good job of that as well. And the battery life is just great. I can go a very long time without having to worry about recharging the battery, which is a problem I've had with other electric drills. The grip on this electric drill is great, I don't get any kind of cramping while holding it for extended periods of time. And the recharge time for the lithium battery is pretty good compared to other electric drills so you won't be waiting for a much longer time. The price is also good because the quality of this drill ensures it will have a long life.

My husband and I purchased this drill shortly after moving into our new place together for home fix it jobs and hobby purposes. I use this drill pretty often from using it to assemble furniture (such as dressers and bookshelves) to hanging pictures and home decor. I also use it for my own hobby, photography. I like to make my own photography props and this drill has been essential in putting together many woodworking projects that I have constructed. This drill has variable speeds allowing me to remove or apply screws without fear of stripping them. The all metal sleeve chuck gives me confidence that this will hold up for years to come. I like that this drill has a rechargeable battery that makes it portable. The weight is not too heavy allowing me to use it for extended periods of time without my hand or arm becoming too tired. The battery life is impressive for the workload and it came with hardware that allowed me to mount it on my wall when not in use to help keep my work space from becoming too cluttered.

A gift card made the perfect gift possible. I do a lot of craft projects and it seemed that I was always in need of a drill. It needed to have enough power to perform yet I didn't want to spend a lot on tools. I was told that this is a fairly new tool but I knew that Craftsman has earned the respect of DIY (do it yourself) people like myself by making tools that balances features, performance and price and in my opinion the updated bolt on drill is no exception. I like the built in LED light as it makes it easier to verify that you are on target. You do need to make sure the charger unit is included but by sticking with craftsman tools any tool needing a charger you won't have to buy it again. I like the size and weight of the unit. It is not so heavy that I can't hold onto it, yet it weights enough that it keeps the unit balanced. The starter kit that I purchased was pretty basis. but the base handle can be used with other tool heads. It is well balanced but my hands are small and it is rather difficult to hold the unit when it is running without it bruising my thumb. I like that it has a quick charge and is full charged within twenty minutes so I don't have to plan so far ahead when I want to use it and it will allow you to do just a partial charge so you don't have to wait so long before you can get started on your project. I find that changing the tool is easy once you have done it a few times but will say the first few times made me want to throw the whole thing in the trash. I know that this tool will be worthy of the Craftsman name and will out perform other brands.
