I purchased a wet or dry vacuum because I wanted something easy to use, versatile, and durable. This craftsman wet dry vacuum fits these characteristics, although I have never actually used it for wet clean up projects. The vacuum is fairly inexpensive compared to other vacuums - it costs a lot less and gets the same job done. Granted it does not look as pretty as other high end vacuums, it gets the job done. I am fairly happy with my purchase and it is something good to keep handy in the garage or even in the home. I suspect it would be more useful for people working with house hold home improvement projects, but even an average household could not hurt by having one of these around. As far as I know, it is durable and easy to maneuver. It has four casters so you can pull it from any direction and it will easily slide over to you. I have hardwood floors, but I think it would be easy to use on carpets as well. So far, I am happy with my purchase of this product and would recommend it to others. It's small size is fine as I do not like to leave dust in their anyways.

Standing water Is something that as a resident of Florida I am used to. That on top of having a toddler and doing a lot of projects makes it a necessity to have a shop vac in my possession. I had no idea how Many different choices there were when I first set off to buy a new shop vac, but since I was familiar with the Craftsman brand I knew I wanted to start there. I looked at a bunch of different sizes before I decided that this six gallon one was perfect sized for the needs that I had. The vac itself is great. It's powerful, and performs well In a wide range of different clean up situations. I've used it for sawdust, spilled water and other liquids and it does great. The size is small enough that it fits on the shelf in my laundry room , but large enough that I don't have to empty it a bunch of times while cleaning up. Craftsman brand is always well built, it does cost a little more than walking into Wal-Mart to buy a shop vac , but it's also better made so its well worth the trade off. Definitely a wise purchase if you are in the market for a new shop vac.

I am very pleased with this version. It is easy to use and works great on a variety of surfaces and in places where regular vacuums are unusable. Maneuverability The wheel construction allow it to change direction with ease. It is, however, too large to place on stairs, so you do have to carry it when cleaning stairs. However, it is light enough that that is not an issue. Ease of Maintenance It is pretty easy to empty the bag and also to clean most areas of the unit. Suction Performance It works great on most surfaces, but in my experience it has not worked well on most carpets. Versatility It does not seem to work as good on carpet as some other versions or brands. But it works great on hard surfaces. And it also is easy to use on stairs or when cleaning the automobile or boat. Design Solidly constructed. I wish there was some way to secure the hose when not in use. But other than that no real complaints. Durability No problems after two years. I have used it in a variety of environments and have put it through some pretty strenuous usage and have been very satisfied with how it has held up.

the suction on this vacume is great. It works great in the house or in the garage. We bought it for the garage to pick up dirt and things like that. Versatility I like that you can use it on a bare floor or pick up some water. Design I like that all the parts are right within reach. I also like that they are more than on attachment.

I love my Craftsman 6 Gallon 3 Peak HP Wet/Dry Vac. It is so versatile and can be used for so many jobs in and around the home. I didn't want a huge wet/dry vacuum because larger ones can be harder to handle and use. This one was the perfect size for my use. I have used this for many times for so many things. I have water holding tanks in the basement that sometimes overflow a little and this works perfectly to quickly get that water up. I have used this went my son decided to turn the water on in the sink full blast and leave. I use this to clean my vehicle out. It's short and compact so unlike my upright that I sometimes use to vacuum my JEEP this does not fall over when you stretch the cord out. I love that you can use this to clean up wet or dry messes. It can also be used as a blower. I don't use this feature much but I have used it to blow leaves off our sun porch in the fall. This works great to clean up rocks, glass, and larger items that may damage or clog up a regular vacuum cleaner. Craftsman products are well made and they are a brand I know and trust.

We like the idea that it is a wet/dry vac. We keep this particular one in out in our garage when it snows and the floor get wet, we just "suck" the water up from the dripping snow which makes it very convenient. We have a smaller one that we just for inside the house and it does a great job. Very happy with Craftsman products. They "stand behind their products" . I like the idea that you can purchase a variety of tools depending upon your needs. Maneuverability Both of our Vacs. move around very easily and we don't have to worry about the cords be coming tangled up. Ease of Maintenance All parts are always avail for your particular need which is great. Suction Performance Very strong suction power but as with all Vacs. you need to clean them periodically. Versatility You have good selection in which to choose from according to your need(s) Design The design is great, that is just one many reasons why we have 2 of them Durability Have not had any problems with either of our Craftsman Vacs.

Handy vacuum to have around. Works well for yard and shop cleaning. Great for extracting water. Maneuverability Make sure to move the vacuum from the base and not the hose or it just might fall over. Ease of Maintenance Easy to clean, just open the lid and dump the dirt. Suction Performance Suction for water and dirt is great. I use it to remove the leaves from the zero turn that get blow up on the deck. Versatility Great for water and dirt removal. Design Needs to have a weighted base so vacuum won't tip over. Durability I have had the vacuum for a good 10 years and it tacks a beating.

When I was having a sunroof/leaking problem with my car not too long ago, my brother thought he was clever in gifting me with this 6 gallon wet/dry vac from Craftsman. Smaller than most that I had seen in the past, this fit perfectly in my trunk...ready to use when the water leaked and formed a pool in my passenger's side floor (a weekly occurrence for a few months, unfortunately). This is a simple and effective product - remove the filter if you're vacuuming wet, leave it in to vacuum dry. It was my car vacuum for both. Thick hose, powerful suction, easy on/off with a basic power cord that I usually had to connect to an extension to run from house power from my driveway. This worked fantastic for wet - there wasn't a good narrow attachment to really clean the car on dry, but it was certainly better than nothing. Durable and never giving me a problem, this is still in my trunk despite no longer having the leak! Maneuverability thick nozzle
