A Good, Solidly Performing Tool

4

The Craftsman 580.752550 High Pressure Washer is a good, solidly performing tool. It pressurizes and accelerates water to clean whatever you need clean. I've used it to wash my siding, second story windows, porch deck and railing, riding mower deck, garage floor and my car. The different nozzles allow for a higher level of utility. Need to spray soap on the siding to get it really clean? Bam! Throw on the soap nozzle. Afraid of hurting your car with water pressure that's too high? Wham! Use the gentle nozzle to get your baby clean. Got something disgusting stuck to your driveway? Pow! Use the high pressure nozzle and disintegrate whatever the heck that used to be. I did notice some problems. The nozzles are generally simple to interchange, but can get stuck, and you might need a pair of pliers to get them out. The machine is obviously noisy, so don't use it too early on a Saturday morning. Make sure you clear out the lines, too, to keep it in good working order.

My favorite yard tool

I have had my Craftsman pressure washer for about 4 years. I had an electric one before I bought this gas powered washer and did not realize how weak it was until I owned my Craftsman. We have a large pool area that is surrounded by concrete. During the winter, the concrete gets very dirty and moldy. It is amazing how much a pool area can make the concrete appear even dirtier than on other parts of the property. After years of cleaning the area with my electric pressure washer, it finally died on me and I had to get a new one. I had not wanted a gas powered washer because I am a small woman and it is difficult for me to crank gas powered appliances. While I still have a little trouble with cranking it, I CAN get it cranked and once it is cranked the first time I have no problem with cranking it again. The only problem I had with this washer was the hose. It was too small for the amount of pressure and sprang a leak. I replaced it with a sturdier and longer hose and have not had a problem with it since.

I have had my Craftsman power washer now for 6 years and I still like using it! I got it for prepping my house getting ready to paint it, it worked better than excepted, getting any loose paint and even taking some off that didn't seem to be peeling. I use it on my pool deck, driveway and sidewalks, what ever you want to clean outside, its fun. It has a 6.5 horsepower and 2550 PSI, so you can see it has the power to get a job done. It is very easer to start and operate, it has a adjustable nozzle which is a huge plus, twist the nozzle clokwise for narrow spray, and counter clockwise for the fan spray pattern. It also has a detergent siphoning dispensing which comes in handy for those areas that need that little extra. The only problems that I have had with the Craftsman pressure washer was really my fault, but be careful it could happen to any one! I was using the machine and the high pressure hose touched the muffler gaurd, it put a small hole in the hose right away, I had to go and buy a new high pressure hose, now I really am careful, plus wear covered shoes it will tear your toes or foot up if you hit them by mistake!
