In my opinion, every home owner needs a set of pliers but they are not all created equal. The Craftsman Set is a cut above most. They are made of steel and seem virtually indestructible. The handles are what I would call comfort coated and won't quickly make your hand feel fatigued. It also doesn't cause those painful calluses from the gripping pressure. The pliers have a slip joint and gripping teeth for added ease of finishing what ever job you are preforming. The slightly larger size of them isn't too much for me to manage and I feel very comfortable using them which came as a slight surprise. The price of the set wasn't bad considering it is a 3 piece set and buying them individually would cost more in the long run. It also comes backed by a lifetime warranty which ups it's value even more. I believe these are great to have for any home and I would recommend them to a friend.

These pliers were a gift for my husband, that I got on a really good sale. Craftsman has a forever or lifetime warranty on their tools. Having this knowledge makes me more inclined to purchase them because I know if something goes wrong, I can take them back to Sears. These pliers are a really nice basic set, that can be used for everyday use. The pliers grip very well, they fit nicely in your hand, and they are a solid set. They seem well made out of alloy steel, and we have not had any complaints using them (no bending etc). I just wish there was also a wire cutter in the set, because that would have made it that much better. For the price we paid for these pliers though, we have definitely gotten our use out of them. They are a nice little set and a good addition to any home. I am not super great with tools, or consider myself very handy, but this set is really easy to use and a good starter set as I stated before.

I picked up the Craftsman 3 pc. Pliers Set and they do exactly what I expected of them. This set of pliers are well crafted and extremely strong. I have mainly used these pliers to remove hex bolts in a jam or to hold a bolt in place when tightening a bolt with a socket wrench. The groves on the regular and adjustable pliers have excellent grip, but the the Needle-nose pliers not so much. The Needle-nose pliers are great for tight spots but I must apply tremendous force. The grip of the other two pliers are phenomenal. There is very minimum slippage when I'm tightening or loosening a bolt. The only downside to the adjustable pliers is that they sometimes slip out of the grooves when a bolt doesn't rotate. When this happens sometimes the handle will quickly collapse and my fingers will get pinched. I would definitely recommend the Craftsman 3 pc. Pliers Set because they are an all purpose tool that quickly pay for themselves.

The Craftsman's three piece pliers are great to have for everyday use. I have used Craftsman's tools for years and never had a problem. My husband taught me to buy the best and he said I could not go wrong with Craftsman. The three piece plier set is great to have because it is good to use for small and large projects.
