I love the fragrance of La Source and wish it were available as a perfume. The hand cream is nice but a little heavy for anytime except winter. I find it a little too much for daily use. It is definitely effective for dry skin.

Last Christmas, I bought a few sets of these online in various scents. To be honest, I wasn't sure if I was going to keep them or pass them out as stocking stuffers. But once I got my hands on them and experienced the scent, softness, and moisturizing ability I did a little of both--kept one and gave away the rest. I keep a basket of toiletries in my guest room and the Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy Cream is always the first item that company reach for. I've heard everything from how lush the cream feels, to the delicate scent, to how moisturizing it is, and how easily it absorbs without feeling sticky. The benefits are long-lasting and my hands feel soft even after a hand washing. I admit to being a little in love with the tube as well. The cream fits well in a purse, glove compartment or tote, but also looks a little glamorous lying on a bathroom counter or vanity table. La Source Hand Therapy Cream is a little pricier than similar creams, but I think it's one of the few products that are worth the price.

This is by far the best hand cream that I have ever used. I received this Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Hand Therapy Cream as part of a gift. I absolutely love it! It just works so well. Once you try this hand cream it will ruin you for all other hand lotions. It is just so far and above the other brands. I believe that just about all of Crabtree & Evelyn's products are very well made, high quality products and this La Source Hand Therapy Cream is no exception. Effectiveness This lotion is so very effective! It works quickly to make your hands feel soft and super moisturized! It also leaves your skin looking beautiful! Ease of Application This is easy to apply and it absorbs in to skin quickly so your hands aren't greasy! If you slather it on thickly at night your hands will be beyond soft when you wake up in the morning. It is not irritating at all. Scent This hand cream smells fantastic. It's a light scent, which I love! It's not overpowering at all, it's just right.

While I was in history class my senior year in high school a friend asked if I wanted some hand lotion after she applied some to her hands. I said yes and the love affair began. Immediately I noticed that my hands were soft and smooth and shiny (in a good way) but not greasy at all! I also noticed that my nails seemed smooth and shiney too. I asked her what brand of hand lotion she had and went out and bought a tube for myself. I have since used this hand lotion nearly exclusively. I have a container in my car, in my purse, in the kitchem, next to my bed and in the bathroom. I give it to friends and family as gifts too. Effectiveness My hands are always soft. They always look healthy. They always look young and they have a glow. My nails seem stronger when I use this lotion and shiney too. Ease of Application I never have a greasy feeling when I apply this lotion. It glides on effortlessly and absorbs quickly. I dont need a large amount to feel I am adequately applying enough. Scent The scent is light and airy. It doesn't compete with my perfume.

Crab Tree and Evelyn's La Source Hand Therapy Cream is a like a dream. It smells so wonderfully--kind of sweet but in a clean and spa-like way. The cream itself is rich and heavy, but in a smooth and whipped like manner. It goes on easily and only requires a bit of rubbing in (it does not sit on the top of your skin like some oily moisturizers do), but this is not a chore to do because it feels so nicely and smells great. I love to pair this hand cream with Crab Tree and Evelyn's La Source Hand recovery. After using the hand recovery, I apply this cream and then my hands feel so pampered and so, so soft! Effectiveness Crab Tree and Evelyn's La Source Hand Therapy Cream is great. It really hydrates your skin, especially when its dry, and makes your hands feel pampered all the other times! Using it is a real treat. Ease of Application A little dab of this hand cream is just enough to rub into your hands. And that's a good thing, considering it is on the expensive side. Scent As I said, I am in love with this scent. I also like their rose scented hand cream, though.

Great product! Effectiveness This is maybe the best hand moisturizer that I have used. It can deal with all dry skin problems no matter how serious they are (from dish washing without gloves to gardening). Scent If you are a fan of floral, fruity or spicy fragrances this is your heaven on earth. They have iris, rose, lavender, wisteria, pomegranate/ argan/grape seed, avocado/olive/basil, citron/ honey/ coriander, la source and others.

I really wanted to like Crabtree & Evelyn Ltd. La Source Skin Therapy Hand Recovery. I have lotions I love for my dry-skinned, easily irritated skin, especially on my hands. While there are many I like, I am still always looking for something even better. So I bought a little sample size of it from a store in my local mall since I know so many people love the Crabtree & Evelyn brand. Unfortunately, I can NOT say that I, personally, love it. The way it smells reminds me of one of my grandmothers, not in a bad way, but I am a young woman; and, I do not want to remind my man of his mother or grandmother. Also, while it felt like it was moisturizing to some degree and a little bit went a long way, it left a whitish film on my skin that I could just barely rub and it would flake off everywhere. It sort of reminded me of the icing you put on cinnamon buns once it dries and hardens or those thick, white, chemical free sunscreens that rub off on everything because that is part of what it did - rubbed off on everything. I want better from a lotion than to make me flaky just from using a tiny dab of it. Considering the expense of this lotion, I thought I would get better.

I discovered this hand cream during their after Christmas sale at their store 8 years ago and have been using it ever since. It smells amazing and keeps my hands moisturized for hours. I used to live in New York CIty where the winters are brutally cold and have always relied on this hand cream to keep my skin from cracking or drying up. It smells amazing too. It always reminds me of being at a spa after I use this hand cream. The packaging is very cute as well. However, this hand cream can by quite pricey if not purchased during a sale or promotion compared to other hand creams offered at local drugstores. However, you do get what you pay for! I have been using this hand cream for years and there's no plans to stop using it.

I have very dry hands in the winter and they can become quite red and painful. But Crabtree & Evelyn's La Source Hand Therapy Cream is fantastic! It not only soothes my hands, but heals them as well! I use it daily, after washing dishes, etc. I also carry a small tube in my purse. Great product!

I first got this product as a gift many many years ago...and ever since then, I am hooked on this hand therapy cream from Crabtree & Evelyn.  While some of their product might be pricier, this hand therapy cream is reasonably priced.  I use it mostly in the wintertime, especially on days I forget to bring gloves with me on my commute to/from work.  I leave a tube at my desk and also one in my apartment.  The GREATEST thing about this therapy lotion is that it does NOT leave your hands and fingers greasy at all.  It is quick to absorb and it leaves your hands soft and moisturized.  The scent is also quite pleasant, neither too faint nor too strong.  At work, people have asked around for hand lotion, and when I offer mine to use, I always get a pleasant reaction and many of my coworkers now also have a tube at their desk.  Lucky for us, Crabtree & Evelyn have a store in the same building as our offices.  Crabtree's hand therapy lotions come in a variety of scents, but the La Source is my favorite.  They have a good selection and I'm sure they would work just as well as this one.
