I wanted to give my cat some healthy greens, so I purchase the Cosmic Kittyherbs Cat Grass at Petsmart and decided to give it a try. The directions on the package are easy to follow and before long, the seeds were sprouting as promised. I was overjoyed that the possibility of finding something she liked that was so easy to grow would come to fruition. Sadly, this was not to be. When I took the kitty grass out of the sunny and unreachable window to show her it, the response was underwhelming. She gave it a perfunctory sniff and that was it. What a flat response! I had the entire growing time as a period of hopeful anticipation that she would enjoy this. But it was not to be. However, just because my cat was a naysayer does not mean that other cats will not enjoy this tasty treat. So, my recommendation would be this: It's not a costly product so if it fails for your cat, as it did for mine, the investment is small but the return would be great if indeed your cat enjoyed this product.

Cosmic KittyHerbs is one of my cat's favorite treats. I love it because it grows so quickly so I can always have a new batch growing while my cat enjoys the grass that's ready to eat. When I give him his KittyHerbs you can just see his eyes light up. He's crazy for this stuff! I've tried other "cat grass" in the pass and he seemed to enjoy it to a point. But he can't get enough of his KittyHerbs. He likes this even better than his dried cat nip! I also like the fact that this product is good for my cats digestive system. If you're kitty is prone to tummy trouble this just might be the product for you. My cat tends to have a sensitive tummy and this really seems to have helped him. Best of all it's natural and not a medication. So it benefits his health but he thinks he's just getting a treat. It's a win, win situation! Quality of Ingredients Cosmic Pets KittyHerbs seems to be a much better quality than some of the other "cat grasses" on the market.

My aunt used give us a container of Cat Grass every year as a Christmas gift for the cats and the cats loved it. As soon as it was in the house they would be munching away at it. They loved it so much that we used to have to hide it in the glass cabinet because they would pull the whole blade of grass up, root and all. I was never sure where she would get this Cat Grass from until I came across Cosmic Kitty Herbs one day in a pet store. We used to buy the Cosmic Kitty Cat Nip so we knew it was a good brand to buy. We bought this package and were eager to grow our own Cat Grass. It's very easy to grow all you have to do is get a container of dirt sprinkle on some seeds, then cover with a thin layer of dirt, and water it. The grass started growing in about a week. Be sure not to keep the seeds too wet because sometimes it will mold and you have to throw it away. We used to try and keep the cats away from it until it got to be about two inches tall but they managed to get an early harvest once and a while. PetsMart sells Cat Grass by the checkouts but you get more seeds with the Cosmic Kitty Herbs, not to mention you get the pleasure of knowing that you grew the grass yourself. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients are just barely, oats, and wheat seeds. Flavor Selection The Cosmic Kitty version of Cat Grass has barely, oats, and wheat grass. Where most brands are only wheat grass.

I have purchased Cosmic's Kitty Herbs a number of times. It is very easy to grow and you don't have to use much I use; approximately a large tablespoonful. I divide the seeds into two layers in the pot. You do get a lot from that amount of seeds. I grow it in several pots that are placed in various places in the house, and stagger the growing cycle so that the cats always have some growing. Due to the fact that the product starts to grow rather quickly (usually within 3 to 4 days) it is very easy to stagger the growing cycle in different pots. Once a new batch is planted it its pot, the cats check the pot out on a regular basis looking for it to come through the soil. They love it! Quality of Ingredients The seeds are good quality which is evident from how quickly it starts to grow. Flavor Selection This of course is not really an issue, since it is wheat grass I am growing for the cats and it doesn't come in flavors. However, they love the grass that grows from the wheat grass seeds.

My three cats love this stuff!  On Friday nights when I need a break from the constant petting, I sprinkle some on their scratching posts and  stationary brushes.  They go nuts for the stuff and I get some peace and quiet to watch a movie or crochet unmolested.

Scrappy is one cat that just says "NO" to catnip, as I found out last year when I planted her a spot all of her own with it and the other side I planted Cosmic Kittyherbs - cat grass to which she just loved. This has a wonderful selection of cat grasses for her to enjoy and it good for her because cat grass helps cats digestive systems and helps cats restore enzymes in their little furry bods that they need. This 4 oz bag includes: barley, oats and wheat. It's all pure and Scrappy loves it. It grows fast too. After planting (indoors or out) the germination time is only four days. This bag will last us all season long as I like to add seeds here and there threw out the planting season as I thin the old stuff out.  If Scrappy likes it then we are all happy and she loves this grass and I like it because it's natural and good for her too.
