I love my Corningware slow cooker I've been using it for about 10 years, it is still working great. Time to Heat heating time is acceptable. Cooking Performance cooking is very good Ease of Cleaning this is very easily cleaned Ease of Use easy to use Design I think it is very nice looking Durability been using it 10 yrs so durability is great

I received the Corningware 6-quart slow cooker for a wedding present almost 10 years ago and it's still going strong!  I like the appearance of it - a nice understated white background with green ivy leaves.  And the removeable corningware insert is really great because it's super easy to clean.  I have used this slow cooker numerous times - mostly for family gatherings because it is really quite large.  It's a little too large for our family of four at this point.  I've never experienced any problems with it (except for operator error, as in forgetting to plug it in...) and it's cooked many meals for us.  There's one small thing that I would change about it (and I never missed this until I got a smaller crock pot with this feature) is to have a "keep warm" setting.  That's really nice to have when your food is finished cooking, but you still want a bit of heat to keep it warm.  But it does have three settings - low, high, and auto.  It's been a great slow cooker and I would recommend it to anyone.

I got my corningware 6 qt because I have 4 males in the house and me and we are all very good eaters,I love my crockpot because I can put it on medium and leave it on all day and when it's dinnertime I know it will be done.Awesome product!!!

My crockpot is a standard crockpot.   It is basic with standard features.  There isnt much one can do with a crockpot but one thing is for sure, this one is durable.  I have had this crockpot for over a decade and I use it regularly. It has never failed me and is easy to clean.  I dont know if there is Teflon coating the inside but even when I burned my five alarm Texan Chili,  it flaked off.  I was so afraid it would stick.  I also find that Corningware is not the least expensive of all products but quality is worth paying for.  The lid for the pot is also durable and my children have beaten the lid senseless yet there are no cracks in it.  The cord is also unique in that it hasnt cracked, split or seperated from the actual plug as i have seen with others.  Even the stencil on the ceramic on the outside of the pot is still in place after hundreds of washes.  I would recommend this for anyone.

The corningware crock pot is the best of all the crockpots on the market. I love the entire corningware line and was so excited to get their crock pot  as a gift for my wedding. The crock pot features a removable insert. The insert can be removed to store leftovers in the fridge or as a serving dish. It is my favorite feature becuase the outside of the insert in made in the classic white corningware design, so it looks great in presenation on the table for holidays and special occasions. The insert also makes for easy clean up becuase it wipes easily and is dishwasher safe. The crockpot is simple to operate and has 3 heat settings LO, Med and High. It heats up quickly and cooks food evenly. The oval shaper helps to accomodate larget peices or meat like a roast. The crockpot is veritile enough to cook a soup or a roast perfectly. The insturcion manul also comes with a few receipes as well. The Corningware crockpot is both functional, cost effective and good looking!

I can not say enough good things about my corningware programable slow cooker. I just dearly love it. I can cook an entire meal in it, set the program for however long I need it to cook and dinner is ready. It is convenient to carry out to pot luck dinners with the rubberized lid to prevent spills and the removable crock is extremely large. At the time I bought mine it only came in white and I would have liked some different color, but I bought it for the serviceability not color. I would recommend this product for the working and non-working homemaker because of the ease and versatility of preparing meals.

I am what some people call a "foodie" I love to cook, bake and create anything edible in the kitchen. I also am the type that there are days I don't have the time to be in the kitchen all day. This slow cooker has been a pleasure to own and use. While preparing the family breakfast, I am also starting dinner, in the slow cooker. Whether it is a roast, Chicken or stew I know once the ingredients are in, I am done for hours and come dinner time we have a wonderful, home cooked meal that pleases everyone. Being a creative person, and someone who loves experimenting I have done desserts such as cakes, puddings, etc. Made my own chocolates and whatever catches my eye. This slow cooker is versitile, programmable and VERY spacious (interior cooking area). I highly recommend this must have kitchen appliance, and once you have it you won't be disappointed!

I purchased the Corningware 6-Quart Oval Slow Cooker for a family member as both a gift and as a way to give them an easier way to prepare meals without much fuss since they were elderly.  Our family has used this product a number of times, but not as much as we originally intended. The reason is...it is too slow. It takes much longer for the food to get done than in traditional stoneware crock slow cookers.  The Corningware cooker is designed not to get so hot on the outside that it would cause serious burns if accidentally touched which I thought would be a good feature for my aging parents.  It has nice features and is very attractive.  It has a choice of high or low settings based on the number of hours you are cooking, and after the time is up it will automatically switch to warm.  However, if I want to put it on low for 4 hours I cannot, as it will automatically go on high, and if I want it on high for longer hours it automatically switches to low. So the only way to manipulate the automatic setting feature is to babysit the crock and change the settings when you need to.  If I had to do it again, i would not purchase this model, but would purchase a more traditional stoneware crock.

I purchased this crock pot after I entered into a chili cook off and needed, obviously, something to put it all in. It has worked great, but after a few years of having it, it has really slowed down in terms of the length of time to cook. It comes in 4 heat settings: low and high heat, with two time variations for each temperature setting (four and eight hour cook settings). What I really like about this crock pot is that, once you are all done with cooking and serving, the pot detaches from the heating element base, and you can clean the pot in the sink, without having to worry about damaging the heating element. As I said earlier, the heating element used to work really well, each setting worked perfectly, but now, it takes a really long time to cook on both high heat settings - almost 50% longer than before. I have not used it heavily, so it must be a manufacturer's thing. Oh well. It still works, and I've gotten great use out of it.

This crockpot is the best crockpot ever. It allows you to either set be set on warm, low, or high.  This crockpot is versitle. You can put your food in the morning in on whatever tempuature you would like and depending on when you want the product done and when you get home you have a fresh meal. All you have to do is fix a side and your meal is done. It also allows for easy clean up. You can also bake a cake in it. I use mine for get toghethers. We always have company escpecially on Sundays during the NFL season. So I am constinialty making and trying new things with it. It allows me to spend time with the company and not slaving over a hot stove for hours on end. It allows me to also during the week to spend time with my family and makes mealtime less hetic. Just a little bit of planning is all you need to do and this crockpot will make your life so much easier. Their is also lots of internet receipes you can get offline so you will never be out of ideas. I also bought a crockpot cookbook and this helps also. Just use your creativity.
