Every summer you will find this sunscreen in our closets at home and in our bags (diaper bag, purse, beach bag, etc.) that way we can apply it whenever we are getting ready to spend some time in the sun. We love this sunscreen and have never had a problem, as long as we followed the directions and reapplied when necessary, with it not protecting us or giving us rashes as some other brands do. I love the fact that the Coppertone sport sunscreen is not greasy and doesn't leave your hands a greasy mess after applying it. I have literally put this on and seconds later started eating a snack and don't feel like I am eating the sunscreen. It is easy to rub into your skin and does not leave streaks or unevenly apply. It even has a nice scent to it that makes you long for the beach if you are applying it and sadly not there. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking to stay protected in the sun or even on the cloudy days, it will definitely get the job done and is very affordable!

A friend recommended I should try Coppertone Sport Sunblock Lotion SPF 30 because it worked for him. I gave this sunscreen a shot and I will no longer be taking any recommendations from my friend. This sunscreen is very thick and applies like wet chalk on dry and wet skin. It never absorbed properly into my skin and kind of just set on top. It created a dusty white layer like baby powder and it never went away. Since the product states it's supposed to be sweat proof I expected it to be sweat proof, but I guess I expected too much. When I was sweating the lotion would sting my eyes and cause them to water. The other thing that I was surprised about is that it stained my clothes. In every place I sweated on my body it left a yellow stain in my clothing, which was impossible to remove. The only good thing about this sunscreen was that it was easy to wash off. I definitely wouldn't recommend Coppertone Sport Sunblock Lotion SPF 30 to anyone.

Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 is great for people who love being in the sun. I like to go out in the sun when it is not too hot. The only exception is when I am at the beach. I can't resist the sun when water is crashing against the shore. I reach for this stuff. It protects me every time, and it absorbs fast. It makes my skin shine and glow. I don't know what the ingredient in this stuff makes my skin glow, but I like it. I like the way I look after I apply this. It makes my tan look prettier than other sunscreens. I like to use this on my face because it works like a moisturizer as well. I also use this on my arms and legs because the sun often lands there. This sunscreen doesn't make a mess either. The SPF 30 in it makes me feel confident that my skin won't get damaged. I like the smell of it, but it does smell like a sunscreen. It comes in a cool blue container with cool writing on it. The size of the container is nice because it will last for months and months. I like the price of it too. You should give this sunscreen a try, if you do a lot of things in the sun.

This is a great product for those who like to spend a lot of time being active in the sun. I put it on my kids before we head to the pool and usually apply later in the afternoon. It's very reliable, and in all the years I have used this product, I have not been disappointed. It goes on smooth, covers nicely. When the children are running and playing and start to sweat the sunscreen stays with them. The coverage continues, and my kids don't complain about the sunscreen bothering their eyes. The smell of this product is good as well. It is not overwhelming, which is nice because you don't want your kids smelling like sunscreen. Scent nice normal scent. It is not overwhelming while applying or after it is applies. My children never complain about this sunscreen. Absorption Coppertone is a product you can trust when it comes to absorption. You aren't sitting there rubbing it on forever. It goes on nice and easy, so the kids can get to playing in the sun. Longevity I feel like this brand and level of SPF lasts. I usually apply it right before we head out the door, and again later in the afternoon. Now my children are swimming, so I feel like an extra application is necessary to cover anything the pool water may have washed off after hours of swimming. Effectiveness very rarely to my children get sunburned when using this product. We may experience some redness in areas we miss. Ease of Application This sunscreen is easy to apply. I will say you have to have patient kids. I may say if you have an option to have the spray in this brand, I would get that too. I have spray for the times we are in a hurry, and the lotion for when I think the kids seem in a more patient mood.

I have been using this product for a few years now and it is the only one I use. Even thought the SPF is only 30 I never burn when I use it. Even though it says sport, it is NOT sweat or water proof! No sunscreen is water proof. Any time you get in water it will eventually come off and will need to be re-applied! That said, I can been in the water for 2 hours and it still works. I like that I can use this on my face and it does not cause acne. It is a bit oily, but it does wash off. Scent Smells like any other sunscreen! It is not too strong and eventually the scent wears off. Absorption Does not take long to absorb, which is nice because you do not have to wait long to put clothes or your swim suit on! Longevity It still works after 2 hours of being in the water. But after a few hours you are supposed to re-apply anyways! Effectiveness Even though it is only SPF 30 it works well and does not let you burn. If you have fair skin and DO burn easily I would recommend a higher SPF.

Overall rating of good only because of the acne prone skin recommendation. Although I know I should be buying a more expensive oil free doesnt clog your pores brand I just cant bring myself to buying anything else, even when that other product is in my hand. One of those eh maybe next time things. I really can't picture myself buying any other laundry detergent or q-tips, so this obviously is one of those things. The right price every year, buy it at the same store, and I know I can count on this brand. Does the job right, not to oily, stays on for long periods of time, and as said above a great value. Unfortunately, great for everything except the face. Maybe it's just me, but much like a cold in the winter, I do notice the yearly summer breakouts after some time at the beach. Regardless of that, it goes to show how much I rely on this product and stand by it even if it may affect my face.

Sunscreen is a must when you live in a warm, sunny climate like I do. Depending on what you do outside, a waterproof sunscreen is also a good idea. I spend several days each week in the summer in back of my house, in the pool, so I need a sunscreen that will not wash off and one product that works well is Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30. Sunscreen Facts and Commentary: Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 is a lotion- style sunscreen that is designed for those who are active and need protection from the sun while they engage in sports, jog, swim, or otherwise lead an active lifestyle in direct sunlight. The lotion is spread directly on the skin and, once dried, offers a reasonably protective seal against the harmful UV rays of the sun. Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 takes a little more effort to apply than the spray sunscreens. It is a lotion, so you have to spread it around the skin and it does take some effort to cover all exposed parts of the body. It is thick and gooey and it takes a little time to dry, but one nice quality is that it doesn't wash away. It holds up to a swimming pool and even a good deal of sweating, so in this regard, it lives up to the manufacturer's claims as a sport product. Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 protects the skin at an okay level and the reason I say that is because it contains only 30 SPF of protection. This may not be enough for many, but again, one must remember that it was manufactured for those who play sports or those who exercise in the great outdoors and if you are one of them, chances are you are not in the direct sunlight much anyway. An SPF level of 30 might be all that an active person needs. Bottom Line Viewpoint: Coppertone Sport Sunscreen SPF 30 is a good product from Coppertone that scores points in the anti- sweat and waterproof categories but loses a few points in the skin protection and ease of application categories. The product cannot be completely blamed for its SPF since the level of 30 should be enough for most active folks, but this is still something to consider if you need a high level of SPF. Sum together the good and the bad and you have a product that rates average overall. Absorption It takes some time to absorb and dry. Longevity It lasts for the day and generally does not wash off. Effectiveness This product offers an average level of UV protection. Ease of Application Not the easiest to apply- it has to be spread around the skin manually.

Coppertone SPF 45 everyday, all day! I wear this stuff even in the dead of winter.  Granted, I am freak about exposure to the sun and have very fair skin, yet I recommend this kind of sun protection to everyone.  Besides the obvious benefits of sun protection, Coppertone 45 isn't heavy, like a lot of high SPF creams, and it isn't wildly expensive either. Yes, it has the obvious beach smell, but that is its only drawback.  Also, it can double as your daily skin moisturizer, so I look at it as a double whammy.  You can't go wrong!  Do yourself a favor and add this to your daily skin care regime.

This sunscreen works really well. Although I prefer the spray kind, this lotion is easy to dispense, and works just as well, it's just a little bit filmier on the body than the spray is, so although it is also a sport sunscreen, the way it feels is a little bit different. I have this one on a key-chain/clip that stays in my bag to ensure that I have sunscreen available and on me at all times. I feel comfortable using it in an urgent situation for my daughter, even though I normally stick with "baby" brands to ensure that she does not have a reaction of any sort to them. This one works well when you work up a sweat, and doesn't leave you slippery when wet. I definitely recomment it, and I like that I can find the smaller sizes to carry around with me, as well!

So I don't know what happened with this product!!!! I used to live in Guam, where the sun was deadly! I often used Coppertone sport sunscreen and never had a problem with it, except for the fact that it was a little sticky. When we moved to Hawaii in June, I applied this sunblock and omgosh. The day after it looked like I had chicken pox and OH boy did it itch. After scouring the internet for hours I came to the conclusion that it was either bed bugs (EWWW) or an allergic reaction to the sunblock. Well guess what I didn't find? Bed bugs. So it had to be the sunblock. It took about 2 weeks for the red bumps to go away, and the whole time it itched like no other! From now on I always test sunblock on a small spot on my arm to see how my skin reacts. I never thought I had sensitive skin til I tried this product! what  hassle!
