Conumdrum is unique, no more no less. This wine is one of the world's classic white wines, beautifully made, in small batches, by the superbly expert people at Caymus, one of the very best Napa Valley family-owned wineries. The Viognier grape is the premier white wine varietal of France's Rhône River valley. It does very well in California, however. Conumdrum (no, it's not a "mystery" wine!) is a dry, crisp and complex white wine. It merits some cellar time (two to four years) to develop even further complexity. Enjoy it with a subtle recipe, featuring veal or salmon, with a cream sauce.
