Conair Wet to Dry Ceramic Straightener was just as disappointing as the other Wet to dry type flat irons. This one fries your hair a little even more than the others. I have naturally curly hair and straighten it most days. I've tried so many different flat irons; it's a little ridiculous. With this flat iron if you use it on wet hair with a product in it [mousse, pomade, etc.], it's just a MESS. The product settles on the flat iron and it gets sticky. It also makes the product that you use in your hair completely useless. You then have the burnt hair product stuck to the flat iron and have to clean it off. The claim that flat ironing your hair with the Conair Wet to Dry Ceramic Straightener when it's wet won't damage it is not accurate. My hair would look FRIED. It was frizzy and unhealthy looking. This was the worst out of the Wet to dry flat irons regarding how much it fried my hair. It's not even that good as just a normal flat iron on dry hair. It takes way too many times going over your hair to get it straight. It takes almost double the amount of time it should take to straighten your hair. Don't waste your money!

I was out looking for a good straightener for a long time because I have wavy hair that doesn't stay straight very well, and I saw this straightener and thought to myself... Hmm that would be nice to not have to dry my hair then straighten it. The name and the description make it seem like the straightener will straighten and dry damp hair, but that is not what it did. When I first started using this straightener I thought it was working, but that was just on my hair when it was already dry, it straightened my hair for the most part, but not completely. When I used it on damp hair it did barely anything, the only thing it did do was damage my hair and make it gross. This straightener did not make my hair straight or any dryer than it was when I first used it. I would only recommend this straightener to someone with already mostly straight hair, and someone who just needs their small waves straightened out. I used it to do one of my friends hair for a wedding she had to go to, and it worked for her since she has pretty straight, and thin, hair already. Overall I was disappointed in this product for my hair, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a not to expensive straightener for finishing touches on semi straight hair already. Effectiveness Very good for naturally semi straight hair that is already dry. Not good for curly hair or wavy hair or wet hair. Durability This Straightener has held up for like 5 years, it works the same as when I got it at first.

The conair wet to dry straightener is great! I received it as a present for christmas.  It has steam holes for the steam from wet hair to escape.  It doesn't dry your hair out or damage it.  The cord is just long enough.  I use this product every day.  There are thirty heat settings.  The hottest is for wet hair.  Then there are damp hair and dry hair settings as well.  I use the hottest setting all the time and it heats up within 1 to 2 minutes completely.  It isn't very heavy either.  Some straighteners are so heavy that it hurts your hand to straighten your whole head but this one is just fine.  It has a safety feature that shuts off the straightener if it is left on and unused after thirty minutes or so which is a great feature.  The main thing that I wish this straightener has is the curved plates like the Chi straighteners.  This makes it available for you to curl your hair with the straightener also.

It is convienent to be able to jump out of the shower, towel dry, run your straightner through and presto! Your hairs all done. What's that you say no blow dryer then straightner? That's right something to save you some time intrigued? By the idea I sure was however I was greatly disappointed. Quick yes it is but. . . FRIZZ FRIZZ FRIZZ there is no stopping it no matter what you try. Trust me I tried about everything.The others that have jumped on Wet2Dry bandwagoin have all concluded the same. The time saved not blow or air drying is not worth the entire day of Frizz and flyaways you will endure.

this hair straightner is a really good one it makes your hair really nice and if you use a lil bit of bio silk it makes your hair really soft and use it AFTER the straighnter because it will fry your hair. i really reccommend this product i love it it works great. it is the best straightner i have ever had and not a bad price either so if you are looking for a new one this is the on e you would want to purchase

I have had this straightener for about two years now. My hair is very thick, and beyond curly. I use it right when I get out of the shower and it straightens my hair right away. It is really good at making my hair perfectly straight. It is very inexpensive, and it's a really good straightener. Unlike some straighteners that are very costly, and don't work too well. This one works very well and you get more than your money's worth for it. It may not come in the prettiest colors, or cool designs, but to me, as long as it works that's all I really care about. I have tried a lot of others for my curly hair, and this one is the one I like best. It straightens my hair in about twenty minutes. I have to do it in sections for it to straighten, but it works. I had so many flat irons that I tired on my hair and I finally bought the con air wet to dry cermaic straightner and never looked back. It is so eay to use I can wash my hair and go straight to straight hair without using a blow dryer or towel drying my hair first. It makes it really easy on days when I am in a hurry. What I like most about this product is that since it get hot in an instant it doesn't take long for my hair to get dry and finished with a nice polished and heathly look. The price is even affordable for women on a tight budget that wants to keep their hair up kept until their next hair appointment at the shop.  Just like any product when it comes to heat you just have to be careful becuase if you use it way more then you should it can leave your hair dry and damaged. The conair wet to dry product is a miracle worker especially if you have thick hair like I do then you will love this product becuase it can get through that hair and never miss a beat (every strand dried and to perfection). If you don't take my word for it, go out and purchase one and see how fast you'll fall in lover with such a great product. The main thing that I love about the produt is that I can pick and choose the settings and never have to worry about it going to hot or not getting hot enough. And if your a mother like me and always on the go who sometimes to forget to shut things off well you don't have to worry about the conair it has an automatic shutoff so that is one less thing that you have to stress over.
