I absolutely LOVE this straightener!! I had a larger plate straightener that did not work any where near as good as this one!!! I have super thick hair and with this straightener I can straighten my hair in little to no time at all. What use to take two and a half hours now takes 45 minutes! It is absolutely wonderful! The price is excellent for a fantastic product! When this one gives out (WAY down the road) I will definitely purchase another one just like it! Effectiveness My hair stays straight and flat throughout the day. I don't have to worry about my hair frizzing out of control when I use this item. It straightens in one maybe 2 times over a section. The ceramic plates hold heat nicely while in use but cools down faster than the old one I had. Durability I have dropped this straightener on MULTIPLE occastions and it doesn't even have a dent in it. I don't have to worry about it getting broken becuase it is so nicely made.

I am always hesitant to buy any hair styling products that I am not purchasing in a salon. However after being a little short on money and running late, I reluctantly made the purchase. I got home and was kind of anxious and worried that my hair wouldn't get flat enough, shine, or stay frizz free. I was also worried about the heat settings. I turned the flat iron on began to work it through my hair in sections. The flat iron heated up instantly with no problems and seemed to straighten my coarse wavy hair without really any repetition used. Nine hours later as I was still out on the town my hair was straight, shiny, and frizz free. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. Flat and frizz free for hours on a budget, what's better than that?

Ok my flat iron didnt come with any asscerssories but it looks just like this one in the picture and i love it. I have tried the bigger ones but it just didnt get it good enought around the ears and back. This one is easy to handle, moves great and heats up good. I wouldn't change it for nothing and I love the color, its pink and girly. It does take a little longer to straighten my hair b/c it is a little smaller but not to much longer and when you get the hang of it it takes no time at all!!! I got my from wal-mart and it didnt cost that much. I have had it about a year now so I am sure they still have them.

This straightener was cheap. That's why I purchased it. I have naturally straight and thick hair. It's usually fine without the straightener but, I used it to touch up my hair or for the fays when I wake up and look as if I had been in a tornado. It works well... sometimes. There are days where it seems like it does nothing for me. I think it would work great for people with fine, thin hair but, for someone with thick hair it just doesn't cut it. It's straighten does not hold well most of the time and sometimes it smells like it does more burning than it does straightening. It gets the job done for the most part, however if I were to invest in a new straightener I would most definitely go for another brand altogether. Someone with curly hair may find it doesn't work well for them at all whereas someone with fine, and relatively tame and straight hair may find it works wonderfully. It's sort of a trial and error process. You have to find out what works for you and then go with it.

I purchased the hot iron because it was ceramic, great price, and cute. I have thin hair, so I don't need a really good iron to straighten it. Upon receiving it (purchased online), I was pretty disappointed. The hot iron really looks and feels cheap. Maybe my expectations were too high, but the plastic, and everything wasn't as I imagined. The iron heats up within seconds, and straightens my hair, but I wish the construction was more better. I would suggest this for someone who needs a cheap iron who isn't going to use it everyday. I also think that this won't work too well for people who have lots of hair. 1 inch is pretty small for even someone like me! I was mostly dissappointed with the fact that it doesn't have the lock clasp to close the iron when not in use. But since it doesn't it is always open and looks messy. Anyways, only purchase if you aren't looking to use the straightener for years to come.

This straightener is good for someone who is just starting to straighten their hair. It is worth for the price. It works pretty good for the amount of cost. The tempurature goes up to 30 =(. I have really think hair and its also very curly , so it st...raightens pretty good. I have had it for about 2 years and I am searching one for more of proffesional use. I am planning on getting the Kiyoseki. The ceramic plates on the Conair are tiny but still powerful. I would only recomend it to you if you are just starting with straightener or you just need some touch-ups every now and then. The first thing that stood out to me with the Conair powe of pink hair straightener whas the look and the size of it, I am a total girly girl so the pink of it all was very pleasing to me and my hair is not that long so one inch was the right size for me. Conair usually carries awesome products and I like this straightener a lot. It is ceramic plated which protects my hair from being damaged and the cord is long enough, the heat settings are good and the on and off button is easy to use. I am really happy with the way it straightens my hair. I loved the price and the fact that conair is promoting breast cancer awareness. The only thing I would complain about is the fact that the straightener tends to get really hot, it would of been nice if they designed a rubber or some other kind of strip(i have seen these on other straighteners) on the top so my fingers don't get burned. but other than that its cool:)

This Hair Straightener is the best I've tried so far. It heats up pretty fast and gets my curly hair straight without much work! For your info I have really heavy curls and it takes me 2 minutes to straighten all of it!!! I haven't had a straightener this good yet. Another plus is it's color ;) It is definetely a lot nicer than all the other plain straighteners.
