I purchased and still use this Conair Ionic Hairdryer With Retractable Cord and I really really love it. This is absolutely the most perfect Hairdryer for all occasions. The first good thing about this Conair Ionic Hairdryer with Retractable Cord is the low price. To get a Hairdryer which works this good for the price you pay for it is a very very good deal. The second good thing about this Hairdryer is that it last a really really long time and I am talking years here. The third good thing about this Conair Hairdryer is the retractable cord. The retractable cord makes for very easy storage in any cabinet or drawer. The fourth good thing about this Hairdryer is it is great to use when traveling. Since it has a retractable cord it does not take up as much room when you pack. The fifth and final good thing about this Conair Ionic Hairdryer with a Retractable cord is that it is powerful and dried your hair very fast. I would certainly recommend this Hairdryer to all of my friends and family.

I received this hair dryer back in christmas for my daughter to use. I have since taken it over and I also use it. This hair dryer is for short and long hair. It is far better than the other hair dryers in its class. The drying setting on it is pretty good. It will dry hair in less than half the time the others do. I took this to the beach with me and it was very portable and nice to use on vacation. It didnt cost alot and it also makes hair nice and shiny and managable. The other reason I like it is the cord is also easy to get around with. Its nice and easy to move around. The cord is retractable and that way you arent stepping on it or tripping all over it. It actually works great. I also like the fact that it is ionic feature to it. This makes my hair more sleek and shiny and not frizzy. I have seen others use this in salons and it is well worth the little bit of money to pay for it. I give this hair dryer 4 stars.

This hair dryer works great and has the right number of speed and temperature choices. The best feature in my opinion is the retractable cord. I don't know how many times I've tripped over a cord of my old dryer when the dryer was cooling on the bathroom counter. That never happens now, and with one push of a button it is so easy to retract the cord. It's so much quicker and easier to store. No more wrapping the cord around the handle!! It's light and easy to handle, too. So many hair dryers are heavy and bulky, but this is a nice compact size (but not too small). For those people who like an organized bathroom, this hair dryer will be a great purchase.

The dryer's temperature goes up and down. Not consistent. Also, the cord doesn't retract correctly. Effectiveness Does a poor job drying hair. Drying Time Takes two times longer than any other dryer I have had. Settings/Features The retractable cord is a great idea if they could now get the kinks out of it. Noise Level Normal hairdryer noise. Durability Passed the bounce test in my house.

I love the retractable cord feature, and its the reason I've purchased this dryer (three times). However, the last 2 purchased have had problems. The button to retract the cord has broken within a couple months of purchase. Its not unusually used, so the loss of the reason I purchased it was very disheartening. The dryer itself works great, but you have to keep an eye on the filter. It clogs quickly, and needs to be cleaned or the dryer overheats. The Infiniti retractable cord hair dryer by Conair is ok.  It stores easily due to the retractable cord and works fine, but I like the Pro Infiniti (black and silver) version better (it has three fan speed settings and three heat settings.) The retractable Infiniti (pink version) high fan speed setting is more like a medium speed to me and just doesn't give me the volume I am looking for. I do like that Conair includes the concentrator and diffuser in the package with the hair dryer.  For those that want a gentler fan speed and slightly less heat, then this would possibly be a good hair drying unit for them.

I have always used conair hair dryers.  I have no idea why, but my family always buys the conair hair dryers.  I think this is partially because it is on the cheaper side and has a retractable cord.  I also once found the travel size hair dryer and I think that one works for its purposes.  However I recommend the bigger regular conair hair dryer.  The conair dryer may not last as long as some other hair dryers, but I guess I don't mind replacing the ones that break.  It seems like we also only buy this blue conair hair dryer.  It does work for its purpose and because I have thick hair good hair dryers can be hard to find.  Since my hair is so thick it usually takes a long time to dry so weight of hair dryers also count.  Lighter weight hair dryers can be harder to find, especially quality wise.  This is why I like conair.  It is often cheap and lasts a long enough time before it needs to be replaced.  I think this is the most important reason why it should be bought.

I bought this product about 7 months ago and I got a good deal on it, I went for it because it was cheap but it was also conair which I like. I was looking for something that came with a diffuser I could use on my hair and this one actually came with two attachments, including one that keeps the narrow direction of the heat which is great for my bangs! I like how easy and compact it is. I am often going back and forth a lot so this is prefect for traveling. I also like the it heats up quick and up to a temperature that is prefect for getting my hair to do exactly what I want it to do. At the same time it is not to hot that it burns you though. I personally always have it on high and hot so I cant saying it the lighter settings work as well. I like the retractable cord too that also adds to its appeal as a traveling companion for me. This is a great drying that does not cost a lot of money and does a great job drying my hair. The diffuser attachment is also great for my curls.

My previous hair dryer was a basic on off high low hair dryer that folded up.  I had had it for over 10 years, and it finally quit on me.  I went out looking at what I could find in a higher quality hair dryer but still be space saving.  I finally decided on this Conair hair dryer with retractable cord with Ionic heat.  I am so happy with my purchase, I can not tell you.  I love the retractable cord. It snaps right up and it makes it so easy to store.  I can hang it on the hook in bathroom closet. It stays out of the way.  I couldn't ask for a more wonderful hair dryer.It also dries thick hair fast! I have really thick hair and it can take over 2 hours to dry my naturally.  And this is with short hair.  This dryer drys my hair so fast I'm done literally within a few minutes!  My other dryer I'd be there for 20 minutes or more trying to dry it.  This new dryer is so fast and quick that I save time in the morning.I really don't know what I'd do without it! I recommend it to everyone!

While the Conair Ionic hairdryer is powerful and has the fantastic retractable cord feature, do not waste your time or money on this item. I love Conair products, and have always used their hairdryers with great success. This model however, is a disaster. After selecting this model specifically for it's retractable cord feature, I used it without any problems for approximately a month. Then the hairdyer completely died. No smoke, not shorting out, no signs, just stopped working. I thought it was odd, and had so grown fond of the retractable cord, that I opted to buy the exact same model and give it another shot. About a month or so later, the exact same thing happened. I don't know if having the retractable cord does something to the interior of the hairdryer, or if it causes some major wear and tear on the actual cord, however I will not buy this model again. I went to the store, bought a different Conair, and have had it for a few years without incident.
