I received a free 0.85 ounce sample of this product from my dentist's office after my last visit. I usually avoid whitening toothpaste but can't turn down anything free. This product contains Scope mouthwash, and I have noticed that it does a good job of freshening my breath. My teeth feel clean after I use it. Which is mostly what I'm looking for in a toothpaste. I don't know that this product feels too much different than any other toothpaste I've used, but it's definitely a quality product.

I had mixed feelings before buying Crest with Scope (Peppermint) Toothpaste, partly because I don't use any brand of mouthwash (can't stand the taste) and partly because I had tried Crest Pro-Health toothpaste previously and felt it tasted just awful. But having tried this brand of Crest toothpaste, I must say I have totally been sold on the product. It is pale blue in color with the added minty fresh stripes of Scope which seem quite mild in comparison to the mouthwash. I like that. I kind of wanted the benefit of mouthwash but without the 30 minute interlude that follows in which you cannot eat or drink anything without it tasting of acute mints! I'm a little bit bothered that the ingredients list blue 1 and yellow 5 and this is my main reason from dropping the overall rating down to 9. The manufacturer is kind enough to place coupons regularly in the Sunday papers and when they do, I take the opportunity to stock up.
