Wonderful well run school

5

This is one of the nicest and well run schools available today. Professional Instructors, clear course material. They are quick to communicate with students and show a genuine interest in each student. Their accounting degree is clear and concise.

A decent, non-traditional way to earn a tech degree.

While I was initially quite happy with the first nine months that I attended CTU, I ran into difficulty with the financial aid office which prevented me from continuing and, as a result, I now have over $15,000 in student debt without the benefit of finishing my degree.  Also, if you do not like to write papers, this is not the type of education for you.  Grades are based almost entirely on written posts, essays, papers and presentations - no quizzes or tests.

It was a lot of work.

I started in the summer 2006 and did not finish. I was out by the winter of 2006. I really want to go back and finish. They were very understanding. They are willing to work with you. I just needed to be fully financed to attend. trying to keep up with my work and worried if i was going to make my monthly payments was bit stressful for me. But I do plan on going back and finishing.

Overall, this school is great. The staff is very supportive.

I attended this school to finish my Associates degree in Accounting.  I enjoyed the intensity of the program.  There are new classes every six weeks approximately.  I was taking two every section.  The teachers are very knowledgable about the subjects that they teach.  The administrative staff will walk you through any problem that you have.  The books are included in your tuition and sent to you from the school before class starts.  Financial aid is worked on before you start classes.  Basically, everything is done for you you before you start the classes.

Expensive school, staffed by telemarketers, being sued often

1

Seriously - half these websites are owned and operated by private schools or marketing companies who sell information to the schools to telemarket you. Don't even get started with it. Community and state colleges offer online classes, go there. They are known, respected, not full of telemarketers and not a company with shareholders, expecting a dividend. It's costs over $50,000 for a bachelor's! For a degree that at least some employers, if not many, would consider not as worthy as one from a real school.

Financial Aid Difficulties

3

I began in 2006 taking classes for Business Management at Colorado Technical  University. But Mid 2007.  Financial Aid ran out and they wanted the rest of the tutuion paid in full before they would ship me anymore books.  Needless to say I could not pay in full.   I was four classes away from my bachelors degree in Business Management . The classes where great  they were sometimes hard testing my ability which I loved and ithey have these special class projects where you work with other class members that really tested your ability to stay on top of things and made sure that you where getting out of the classes what you needed to. The professor's where great  and understanding.  Absolutely no complaint about the the professors-they would take phone calls, emails and chat with you online if you had any questions at all. They were wonderful! My only issue was with financial aid.  I still recieve e-mails from them wanting me to come back I did recieve three undergraduate certificates online --but with out a bachelors degree it just seems you can't get a desent job any more.

I loved taking classes on-line

5

I was looking for a school to attend on-line. I had looked into a few but the one that had great offers was Colorado Tech. The course that I took on-line was Associate Degree for Business. The teachers are excellent, you get a class every 4 weeks. The great part of these courses especially when you have children is that you can attend classes, and if you don't understand something the teacher will contact you by telephone to explain to you what you were unable understand. Eventhough the classes are not long you are able to leave with an understanding of what is going on. I would recommend this school to anyone. I was unable to complete the course, for now because I had a baby, but they continue to call to see if I am going to continue to finish my degree. I am waiting for my little one to get a bit older that I am able to complete to go back and finish. I have six classes to go to finish my degree. They help a lot to finish the degree. They are concerned about you finishing your education. They will also help you to find a job after you get the degree. All books are included with the course and they also send you the Microsoft to complete the course.

Get your career rolling at CTU online. I did!

5

I've researched so many online schools trying to find the one that is right for me, even trying to find the field that was right for me. I didn't know what path I should travel down. Whatever it was, I wanted a career in something that I would enjoy. I signed up to receive information from Colorado Technical University and a representative answered me back so quickly and I was amazed. Signing up was easy, the enrollment portals are so user friendly. I was glad that I signed up to take classes a Colorado Technical University. The classes are only five weeks long and the instructors are wonderful and always lending a helping hand. They have so many degree programs to choose from. You can get an Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's in just about anything. The cost of tuition for it to be an online institution is great as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to go check out this school. It's awesome!

great for someone still working full time

5

I have been attendin CTU since October 2009.  If my financial aid holds out I will finish in March 2009.  This has been a great experience for me because I work 12 hour night shifts in a factory.  The teachers are very understanding of this and the support I get when I need help is wonderful.

This school is highly recommended

Colorado Technical University is a great school and they were so helpful through it all.  I enjoyed the instructors and they helped me get through the hard classses I needed.  It has been 2 yrs. since I graduated and they still continue to help me.  I never felt pressured by anyone at the school.  It was a lot of work but you should expect to do hard work for your degree.  At the time I was a single mom and working full-time but the school always gave me encouragement.  I have and will continue to recommend this school to people.
