While planning my longest hiking expedition to date I knew that there were items that I could only get from the website. Most stores sell Coleman items but to get the best selection the website is the best bet. I started out pricing tents; since I am doing this hike alone I only needed a two person ten. The website provided all the basic information about the tent including the assembled dimensions, materials use, weight and number of flaps, windows and doors. The one thing they don't have is an interactive mode where you can see inside the tent. At the site you can get Coleman products ranging from first aid to safety, camping, fishing, hiking and almost all outdoor gear for all seasons. The prices are comparable to what you would pay for the same item in a retail store but in most cases you can shop around and find something else for less. The website is a little slow to load so if you have a slower connection or are using a public connection some of the larger images might not load at all. You can call customer service if you have questions that aren't answered online. I've ordered at least ten times from the site and everything arrived on time or a day earlier. Any returns I had to make went smoothly. I would recommend the site to anyone that's looking to price check items or purchase brand specific items.

I happened on this site one evening while doing some searching for new camping equipment. At first I wasn't too impressed, but after spending some time browsing and exploring I realized I could find all the information I needed to research any Coleman product that I was interested in! My favorite feature is the "Expert Info". Here you can find a vast amount of information to prepare for a camping trip or purchase camping supplies. There is also a link to Coleman on Youtube where they have posted many videos about camping products. I was excited to see a "Recipe" link, but soon disappointed because it was a link to an app for Apple IPad/IPhone users to enjoy. I unfortunately have an Android phone/tablet. :( All in all, I highly recommend this site for anyone interested in camping. It is more than just a portal of items for sale. Whether you are new to camping or have years of experience I am sure there will be something on the site that will spark your interest!! Ease of Use I rated down to 8 for this because almost every link opened a page over the page that was being viewed. I prefer a link to open in a new tab so i can just close the ones I am done with and don't have to hit the "back" key to try to return to where I started. Otherwise, the site is very user friendly and easy to browse. Product Selection The selection is amazing. I could not think of anything that I couldn't find. Product Pricing Prices seemed fair. I would have liked to have seen a better deal offered for their "Daily Deal" however. Customer Service Staying in the middle here because I have not used the Customer Service yet. Shipping and Returns Staying in the middle here because I have not ordered anything yet.

I have enjoyed using the Coleman.com website, both to look for camping equipment and replacement parts. It was especially helpful to be able to find replacement poles for our tent, as one of the loops on the top pole had broken. Ease of Use The site is easily divided into categories of products as well as by brands. It is especially helpful to search for parts by the specific product, as this helps ensure that I am buying the proper part for the specific product that I own. I have had problems on other websites being sure that a replacement part is the correct one, especially since pictures are not always accurate. But I have never had this problem on this website, since they specify the product that each part is for. Shipping and Returns The worst thing about this site is the shipping policy. The more you spend, the more the shipping costs. This is the complete opposite of many websites, since others offer free shipping after spending a certain amount.
