I wanted to get an air mattress that could be used by adults or teens; we have plenty of bedrooms but when there is a reunion or there are a lot of out of town guests we are usually at a loss as to what to do with the rest of the people who show up. This can hold up to 500 pounds so it would be good for a couple of kids or two adults. It is a comfortable mattress and you can put sheets on it if you want; you need to buy sheets with "deep pockets" on the package or you won't be able to get the fitted sheets over the corners. The one downside is that most pillows are going to slide right off the bed when you are sleeping or if you are someone that tosses and turns during the night. You can solve that by pushing this into a corner of the room (if there is nothing else blocking the area) so the farthest the pillows will be able to go is to the wall. I have tried a couple of other air mattresses before making this one the final purchase and I am confidant that this will be around for at least a couple of years. I am having a yurt (stand alone tent style dwelling) built behind the house and plan on buying another one of these air mattresses to put in there when it is done being built.

It's a standard air mattress. Inflates quickly considering its size and has a nice height for feeling like you're in a bed vs sleeping on the ground. It worked for us for a few years as a guest bed, but like all air mattress, eventually got a leak and we can't find it so now our guests end up almost on the floor by the next day. Time to get a new one I guess! Comfort Comfortable when inflated all the way with two people sleeping on it. You still feel every movement, but hey - it is an air mattress, not a temperpeatic bed! Support Would not recommend sleeping on this if you have serious back problems unless the softer surface works for you - then go for it! If you need something very firm, go with a cot or sleep on the ground. Very "bouncy" when inflated all the way, fine for me and my husband (mid 30s). My in-laws liked it for 2 night stays as well (mid 50s/early 60s). Firmness When inflated all the way, it can be quite firm, but as I stated above, very bouncy. It's not a mattress and box spring. It will adjust slightly to the temp so top it off right before going to bed and you should be fine. Durability Has lasted us quite a while. I would say it is very durable for the price and use.

I am eight months pregnant and had to forfeit my regular mattress. I now sleep on the Coleman Double Queen Air bed. I only sleep on my side. It is hard for me to get comfortable having a huge stomach pulling on my back. The air mattress rises to meet my stomach. I have tried ozark trail and a couple others in the past but always ended up with leaks to patch. We take our air mattress camping. Also we take it to visit family. Love that it doesn't feel like we are sleeping on he ground or floor. Have had no trouble with the pump or plugs.

This mattress is very durable and comfortable. We lived on a tent for almost a year while riding our motorcycles and slept on it every night. We still have it. Comfort Absolutely the most comfortable air mattress I've ever slept on. I would buy it again and again, and recommend it to anyone. However, I think this is probably the last product that Coleman is making that is as good as they made years ago. Most other products have gotten cheaper and less durable. Support The easy to operate valve makes adjust the amount of air to suit your needs a snap. It opens and closes very easily, even for my husband, who has osteoarthritis in his hands. Firmness The baffles provide an auto adjusting firmness for each person. The fact that they are lengthwise makes sleeping in any position comfortable. Durability The flocked top keeps the fitted sheet in place and adds a measure of comfort also. The seams are very strong. We had to patch it 1 time because of something poking through the floor of the tent, not the fault of the mattress company.

   I looked all over the internet for a good air mattress at a good price and settled on this one due to the good ratings and price.  I was not disappointed.     My daughter and her hubby were staying with us for about 2 1/2 weeks and we needed a bed. The night before they arrived, I blew it up to test it.  Everything was really easy to do.  In the morning, however, it was a little squishy.  Oh, No! I thought it had a leak, but there was some paperwork in with the mattress that said this would happen due to some streaching.  No problem, I just blew it back up to where I had it.  My daughter and her husband left yesterday and I can say the mattress lasted the whole time in great condition.  I just had to give it a little air half-way through because of a little more streaching.  I probably didn't even have to do that, but I just wanted to make sure.  Her hubby said he has slept on cheaper mattresses and was sure they would be on the floor in the morning.  They said it was very comfortable.  Take-down was incredibly easy and I even fitted it into the provided duffel bag with room for the pump.  Success!  I would recommend this Coleman mattress to everyone.  Hey!  I think I just did. :)

We used the Coleman Queen Double High Airbed for 5 weeks straight and were very pleased with it.  It's big, very big.  It makes sleeping on the ground not so daunting and is really very comfortable.  It held air very well and there was no need to wake up in the middle of the night because you were falling towards the middle of the bed or touching the ground due to losing air.  We had many good nights of sleep on this airbed and were very pleased.  It pumps up rather quickly and while it's a bit loud it gets the job done very well.  A definite benefit that it is higher off the ground, not just for comfort while you're sleeping but it is also to get in and out of because it's not as low to the ground as some other airbeds.  It seems to be a good quality, sturdy airbed.  It comes with a case to fold the airbed in for storage and I appreciate that you can actually fit the bed back into the bag when you are done with out a lot of difficulty.  I'd recommend the Coleman Queen Double High Airbed for anyone looking for a comfortable night sleep and needing to sleep on the ground.

I love my coleman double high queen airbed! It is AMAZING! No other air bed out there that I have tried has compared to this airbed. This one is so durable and comfortable. I love it! I have some back pain issues after a back injury that I had so sleeping on something comfortable is always a concern for me, but I have had no issues whatsoever with this air matress. It is extremely comfortable for both my husband and me. I would highly recommend this air mattress to any-one in the market for them and I love the extra durability that the double height has to offer. My dad had slept on this air matress once after we had used it the first time and the air leaked out the night he used it. We thought that it had a hole in it and bought another air matress. What a mistake...we bought a cheesy off brand and it hurt my back and neck so bad that it wasn't even worth it. We blew up the coleman again just in case and there was no leak after all. I think it just lost air because the plug wasn't tight or something. All in all EXCELLENT air matress!

Provided a multitude of ideas for summer lake fun. Didn't deflate when men jumped onto it into the lake. Allowed 5-6 people to comfortably fit on it with room to spare for the Arizona god. Was very steady when trying to get back up onto it from the water. Was quite easy to steer while in a slight current. Dried very fast after it was brought back onto dry land. Overall, Coleman mattresses are very good and reliable for yoloing.

The Coleman Queen size air mattress is really good, but needs warnings.  If you fill it up while it is hot outside the air compresses in the night when it is cooler and the mattress is no longer firm.  However, if you fill it up while it is cool out, either late at night or first thing in the morning, the mattress will stay firm and will not leak. Another thing you need to know about this mattress is that it gets cold while you sleep on it because the air in the mattress will get cold.  You need to put some type of protective barrier between you and the mattress.  Sleeping bags or emergency blankets work well for this, but a fitted sheet will not.  Even on the warmest night you will feel cold because your body will lose heat due to the contact with the cold air. Once you know these things about the mattress I highly suggest it.  It made my camping experience a lot of fun and was really comfortable.  Inflating it was really easy and so was deflating it.  It is easy to carry, but heavy and bulky so I do not suggest taking it if you have to hike to your destination.

I have a raised queen size bed, it is very comfortable and easy toget in and out of. My onlly compliants are that it is quite heavy to carry when deflated and the pump is not powerful enough to blew the mattress up quickly.
