I have been using this every other night for about a month. I have mild to moderate acne, and my face is always so red it looks inflamed. This was prescribed to a family member for a rash on their hands from what later turned out to be an allergic reaction to soap. They gave me what was left in the tube, and I applied it right away to my back, chest, and face. (All places on my body that have acne) By the next morning, the redness had gone down significantly! I only use it every other night to keep my skin from getting used to it so it will continue to work. Although I have tried other products for the acne itself, I have never had anything that got rid of the redness until now. The family member said this product works overnight for rashes as well. I love it! For me, this product also seems to calm down the affect of red razor bumps on legs making them far less noticeable. My conclusion: Everyone's skin is different but in my experience, this cream/gel can be used to heal countless skin conditions and I would recommend it to friends and family!

I was diagnosed with plaque psoriasis about 10 years ago. I had it on over 73% of my body including my scalp. My doctor prescribed this liquid for my scalp along with uvb light treatments for my body. Within a week I noticed a difference in the psoriasis on my scalp. It is embarrassing to go out knowing that all people are looking at is your condition. I had a lot of confidence once it was gone thanks to this product. It is a topical steroid so it thins the skin.You should only apply this medication the the effected areas and only as much is needed to cover the area. Do not apply this product to your ears, eyes, arm pits or groin area. Prolonged use should be monitored by a doctor. I was pleased with this product because after trying everything there was light at the end of the tunnel. This is one of the strongest topical steroids so take caution when using it. Ask your doctor about this product. They can give you a pamphlet on the pros and cons.

I have some finicky, sometimes downright psychotic, skin.  Every once in a while, I'll develop contact dermatitis as a reaction to some deodorants, lotions, shower gels and especially antibacterial hand soap.  It can be red, ugly and really itchy.  My dermatologist prescribed me the generic Clobetasol Propionate Cream USP, 0.05% and I have had great success with it. Clobetasol Propionate is a topical corticosteroid, and a very powerful one at that. It has very strong anti-inflammatory properties. You just clean and dry the area, then apply a small amount to the rash itself.  It is a very thick cream, so a little goes a long way.  Rub it in until it no longer appears whitish on your skin. Be sure to wash your hands after you apply it - you don't want that stuff in your eyes!  It has been known to worsen glaucoma if you get it in the eyes.  This medication really clears things up fast - most of the time, within 24 hours.  It really soothes the itch and moisturizes, which comes in handy with ailments like excema.  I have not had any side effects using this medication, but it is recommended that you don't use it more than two weeks at a time. It also can't be used on the face and underarms.  It is generally very safe and effective if used as directed.

I tried everything you can think of over the counter and my psoriasis was getting worse - terrible scaley, almost like thick scabs, scalp and was overly itchy-and really bad behind my ears ... all came on in the course of about 2 weeks!  Dermatologist put me on 0.05% solution - cleared it up in 3 days!   I just got another refill today a week later - had to wait a week with insurance - and it feels great when I put it on now, before it burned and tingled due to the raw skin - this stuff is amazing!!!  works great!   well worth it even if you had to pay full price.  I had it badddd - couldn't even wear dark clothes or it looked like it "snowed" - now it is all cleared up.  -Midland, Michigan
