I love love this product by clinique. I have used it on and off for quite awhile and I simply love how my skin looks and feels on the days that I use it. This pore minimizer makes my combination skin super matte and smooth looking. While it does nothing to change the actual size of pores (which I believe is impossible), it makes them look so much smaller when I use this. My makeup goes smoothly over this base and creates the perfect smooth skin that I love. It, along with most of clinique products, is on the pricy side so I do not use it everyday in order to make the tube last longer. They changed from the pink bottle a few years back to a green bottle that comes in different shades. I liked the pink bottle a bit better, but the new product is still fantastic and it is nice that there are shades! I highly recommend this product to anyone with larger pores who wants smoother looking skin.

I don't wear a lot of make ups, so I don't read about them because there are so many products out there and it is very confusing. So, I like talking to someone at a store to get information about newest products. A few years ago, I saw a young lady working at Clinique who had flawless skin texture. Absolutely no pores showing. So, I asked what she was using and ever since then, I can't live without one. There was only one shade then, but now they come in darker shade which I can wear by itself sometimes when I am just working in my office and not seeing a lot of people. I tried similar cheaper products, but not only they don't cover pores well, I ended up with clogged pore. After a few hours of application, they even start to peel off. This product doesn't do that. They are nice and silky smooth when you put on and stays on good. I will never live without it. I recommend to anyone in any age even someone with sensitive skin.

Clinique's pore minimizer is an effective way to decrease the look of facial pores. While it does not reduce the actual size of the pores it does minimize how much they stand-out on your face. It blends well, goes on smooth and doesn't smudge. It has a matte finish and doesn't add any shine to your face which is a nice benefit. The product is kind of pricey but I think it's well worth it if you do have large pores that you are trying to cover-up on your face. I think it would be a good gift, possibly a stocking stuffer. It comes in all different types of shades, so a lot of people will be able to benefit from it. I would recommend this product to my friends because I've used it and it's effective and I also trust the Clinique product line. I started using this product when I was in my late teens and I've yet to find another product that does as good of a job. It's effective and worth the price.

I am so disgusted with my skin. I had been using Clinique's Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector for awhile - three tube's worth, but realized it was causing cystic breakouts on my skin - really bad cystics (my skin is so messed up right now, so if you don't have adult acne trouble, you might still try this - I'm on abx now for my skin), so I had to give it up and go to the Shine Control. If it weren't for the cystics - the plusses with this product are many.... It truly does minimize the appearance of pores (I just have a few noticeable ones on my face - with this, they disappear) - gives the skin a velvety matte finish - such a nice finish, that if I didn't like the polish that foundation gives to the skin, I'd be able to go without foundation. A tiny amount goes a long way - needs to be patted on to the skin, and allowed to dry for several minutes - don't rub it in your palms like lotion and smear it on. Foundation glides over it, and it stands up to the worst of AZ heat and monsoon season humidity - kept a matte finish for about 12 hours for me. I found the light to be a little pasty if I wasn't careful to just apply the smallest amount. The Invisible Deep didn't seem to work as well, and it was harder to blend into the skin (probably because it was a hair too dark). But, the cystics - that right there is enough to make me not be able to use it anymore, which makes me sad - out of all the primers I've tried, and I've tried many, this one is fabulous in every other way - great price too.

My skin type is oily, no doubt about it I could blot my face with some sheets and be matte and an hour later see noticible shine on my face.  This, thankfully, does its job as it promises in producing a nice matte face; if it didn't I would be very dissappointed as this is pricey considering the amoung you get. Now the Clinique Pore Minimizer comes in a clear gel consistency.  Interesting, as I was wondering how it would minimized the pore as I was expecting it to fill in the pores, but being clear I thought you would still see the pores and now need foundation to truly hide them.  I was happy with the minimizing abilities as it did reduce some of my pores, not all them but really I can't expect it to do it all so some foundation was expected.  You don't feel it on your skin after application, so your face won't feel heavy when you do put on other makeup.  So really this works as nice primer for your skin to make sure its matte before putting on your make up.  But really it's nice to wear alone followed by sunscreen for the quick, fresh, no hassel days. Works, a little pricey but you don't need to use that much of it in the first place to become matte.  Wonderful for summer too, as this kept me from having to run through half a blotting pack, a touch up maybe once but compared to old ways of having to reach the blotting sheets this was pretty much worth it.

Clinique Instant Pore Perfector is a must have for anyone with large pores like me. It is so natural that nobody will even know you are wearing it, but they will know if you aren't.  I have tried so many products to minimize my  pores and nothing comes close to this amazing product. I have oily skin and this actually keeps me from feeling greasy and eliminates shine.  It doesn't make my skin feel greasy or break out like other similar products do. I have trouble finding foundation that matches my skin so I wear this and it evens out my skin tone. I'm always getting compliments on my "beautiful skin".  If only they knew what it looked like with out this miracle product! I can't say enough good things about the pore perfector.   You can wear it alone or under foundation. The price of the tube is very reasonable and you don't need to use much. I have had my tube for several months.  Try it, you won't be dissappointed!
