I used this gel after I washed my face, and I used it in the morning and at night. I liked that it didn't dry out my face too much- other acne medications make my skin so dry it becomes scaly. But, Clindamycin was a medication that I could use multiple times per day without negative side effects. Effectiveness My sister and I have both used this medicated gel for acne and it is very effective. You put it on the affected area, and it works to reduce current pimples and also works to prevent future pimples. Ease of Application This gel is extremely easy to apply, and doesn't make a mess. The clear gel leaves no visible trace behind, and does not feel greasy or oily. Wash your face with your regular cleanser, apply to fingers and transfer to face and rub in- it is as easy as that. Convenience This gel is in a pack that is easily closed up so you can take it with you when you travel or are way from home. I found this very convenient to use, however it is an added step to your routine. A 1-sop acne solution would be more ideal, but this is an effective 2nd step in your face washing routine. Side Effects I didn't experience any side effects. Immediacy I did not experience immediate results, I had to use this medicated gel for several weeks when I saw real improvement.

I'm well over 50 and I've had acne my entire life. When I was younger, my dermatologist prescribed antibiotics and topicals, which had to be used in tandem. The topical applications burned my skin, but I had no other alternative. As I got older, I couldn't tolerate antibiotics anymore and most of the topicals didn't work either. Finally, a few years ago, my dermatologist prescribed Cleocin T Gel Clindamycin Phosphate Topical Acne Antibiotic. Within a few weeks I was clear with minimal skin irritation. Effectiveness Cleocin T is the treatment I now use when I have major breakouts, especially those on my neck. These can be very bad breakouts that last for weeks. This gel tends to clear my skin within one week if I use it at the very beginning of the breakout. Ease of Application Since it is a gel, it glides on easily and quickly. It dries quickly and doesn't stain. It is clear too, so I can wear it under makeup. Convenience I only have to wash my face before using. So, it's very convenient. Additionally, I only have to use it once a day to experience positive results. Side Effects This medicine doesn't dry my skin out as much as the other topicals tend to. I use moisturizer on my skin and have had no side effects. Immediacy This won't clear up acnes within a day, but then none do. It can take a bit longer than when using some other more drying Benzoyl Peroxide products, but it is working on the bacteria under the skin. So, the skin will be clear longer.

This Clindamycin Phosphate Antibiotic gel is a clear gel that is easy to use and is unnoticeable on your skin. I have used Cleocin T Gel under my foundation without any problems. I loved the fact that Cleocin T Gel was absorbed very quickly into my skin. This treatment did not burn or irritate my skin, like other acne treatments have in the past. It was one of the most effective acne treatments that I have tried. However, it did take a little while for the results to show; after about two months into my tube of Cleocin T Gel, I started seeing results. Cleocin T Gel made my skin feel look beautiful and made me feel more confident. The only downside to this treatment was that it was not that effective on hormonal acne, and after using it for about a year it started to become ineffective, I believe this may have been due to the bacteria becoming antibiotic resistant. Overall, Cleocin T Gel is a very effective acne treatment that is gentle and unnoticeable on your skin.

Got this as a prescription, apply to the affected area at bedtime. This worked very well for me when I was younger. This is an actual antibiotic cream applied to the face to help kill the acne causing bacteria. It's a nice soothing cream that does not irriate my skin at all. It is well absorbed into the skin and you definitely notice an improvement after use of the cream. Over time, I noticed that my skin started clearing up. There was some redness that was present, but that is expected with all these creams. It's sometimes a bit difficult to squeeze the product out of the container, so there may be some issues there. It last for about 3 months, because the directions were to use only a thin layer. Overall, I think that it is very cost beneficial Immediacy You don't see results right away, it is not like a Tylenol where you can expect pain relief after the first dose, this is something that may take up to 2 months before improvement

I was prescribed this by my doctor for a breakout of acne I was having on the sides of my face along the lower jaw line. It was very frustrating because no matter what product I used they just over dried the skin and I was constantly red.  When I heard about this being an antibacterial lotion, I thought I would give it a try and hope the redness would go away.  The lotion was soothing feeling however, it only improved the acne from spreading for a few days and never made it actually go away.  It also had an odor the longer you went with it on your face.  I put it on in the morning and by mid afternoon it just stunk and I wanted to wash my face at work. I bought some wet wipes to use on the face to remove the odor and that helped. Unfortunately, the Cleo T did not work after a month of using it.  I went back to my drying Oxy 10. I found this product to be best left in the trash can ! It wasn't worth the copay!

I have been using this gel for about 8 month now and it has helped my skin tremendously!  I suffered from deep, under the skin pimples which could take numerous weeks to get rid of.  I had originally taken oral antibiotics for these pesky zits, but your body can get used to oral antibiotics and they can stop working. My doctor put me on Clindamycin, and it worked even better, This gel goes on clear and does not dry out your skin at all.  I even use this with another prescription acne gel, Differin ( which I would also recommend!), I rarely ever experience redness or dry skin.  I have tried a lot of different treatments, like Proactiv, but they all either made me break out worse over time or cause severe dryness.   Clindamycin is really effective and affordable.  I would recommend asking your doctor about this treatment to see if it is appropriate for your type of acne.  I know this has really helped to prevent those painful, under the skin zits that I used to get and I am so thankful!

Cleocin very quickly, within months penetrates your pores while you are wearing it.  Its clear, dosen't stain or bleach clothes, and can be worn to bed as it is not irritating to the skin or eyes.  Cleocin is a very smooth gel, the texture is very thin and it disapears into the skin within seconds.  This medication must be prescribed by a physician or a nurse practitioner, but wow, you will see a difference within weeks and a complete transformation within months.  When you look at your pores in the mirror, that black stuff that you can squeeze, blackheads, the black is skin pigment and the yellow stuff under it is not always puss, the hard yellow stuff that comes out is sebum.  Bacteria gets caught under and between these layers and your skin can't breathe.  The bacteria grows, strengthens, and you have a big puss filled bump, a zit, sometimes many as I once had.  This will work on somebody who has a problem with bacteria.  Hormones also cause bad skin and are another issue, but I would certainly suggest trying this out first.  Bacteria is the most common cause of acne!  It does not mean you are dirty.  Everyone has bacteria in their pores no matter how much they wash or cleanse their skin.
