I first purchased Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer when I started getting into moisturizers. I had a friend recommend this to me and so I bought it pretty quickly without further looking into reviews online. I used this product for a week and I did not see any improve in my skin. In fact, I saw it go downhill. My pores were overly clogged, my skin was overly greasy and shiny, and I suffered from an increase in breakouts. I had to end up returning this product to the store because it was just not working out for me at all. It took a little while for all of the problems that this product caused to clear up. The price is good but it is not an impressive product at all. I would not recommend this product to anyone of any type of skin. Effectiveness Does not seem to work at all and made the condition of my skin worse. Ease of Application No problems with applying. Scent The scent is decent overall.

I purchased this moisturizer to be paired with the Morning Burst face wash from Clean and Clear. I used it every morning when I got out of the shower. The consistency of the moisturizer is really nice. It's not too thin and feels really nice going on your skin. However, after about a week of using it, I noticed that my skin was much drier. It does control shine but it also dried out my skin. I have pretty oily skin to begin with so I was surprised by that result. It may be a better summer moisturizer when your skin has more oil from the sun and sweating. It was not successful with my skin. Effectiveness It was definitely effective at controlling shine on my face. I did not have any oil show up on my face while using this. However, it was too strong for my skin and dried out my face. Ease of Application It is very easy to use. I applied it each morning after taking a shower. It has a pump top that is easy to use. Just make sure you wipe it clean after each use or dried moisturizer will clump around the top. Scent The scent is great. My husband actually complimented what my skin smelled like when using this.

I have used Clean & Clear products for years, and I can say without a doubt that this is my favorite moisturizer in their line. Not only does it smell amazing, but it works extremely well. When I used this moisturizer my skin was well moisturized and smooth, shine-free, and this product did not cause me to break-out at all as some other moisturizers have. This product is extremely effective and easy to use, and the twist-cap makes it perfect for travel without making a mess in your bags. Even though this moisturizer is labeled as "morning burst," I used it both morning and night to help keep my skin looking wonderful. Unfortunately, after falling in love with this product I could no longer find it at any of my local stores and had to switch to another moisturizer. Hopefully it will come back to shelves soon, because I would recommend this product to others wholeheartedly.

I love this moisturizer. I use it every single day before putting on my make-up. It never leaves my face oily or anything. Great after just washing your face too! Works well with sensitive skin as well which is important for me. Scent Smells great and fresh! Not too powerful.

I was hoping that this facial moisturizer would be the best of both worlds. I was hoping that I would moisturize my face but not make it oily. I think that was a fair assumption given the name. I was very disappointed with this Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control moisturizer. It didn't deliver the results that I had hoped that it would. I have found though trial and error that to look its best, my skin needs a moisturizer but I have to be careful about the moisturizers that I use because a lot of them will just make me break out more. When I saw the name of this I really thought "Finally! They've made the perfect moisturizer for my skin type!". I'm not sure I could have been more wrong. This didn't contort oil or shine in the least. Not even a little tiny bit. It also was not helping my breakouts at all either. I had to quit using it and throw it away. Effectiveness Since it didn't do anything that is right in the name of the product I would say the effectiveness was very poor. I was so bummed! Ease of Application It was as easy to apply as any other moisturizer. It absorbed quickly so that part was nice. Scent This didn't have a strong scent. It was pleasant and fresh. I was happy with the scent, I don't like anything I'm putting on my face to be heavily perfumed.

When I wake up in the morning, my face always looks very oily and greasy even after I wash it. I decided to buy the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer with the hope that I had found a product that would get rid of the oily and shiny appearance without drying out my skin. Unfortunately, this product did not do the trick for me. The product is easy to disperse as it comes with a pump and it is easy to spread all over your face. However, I would only use a small dime sized amount to cover my whole face and my face would look even shinier than it did before I used it. Most days, I would have to wash and clean my face all over again after I used it because I felt uncomfortable going outside knowing that my nose and forehead were much shinier than they usually are. The moisturizing part did work as my face did feel soft but my face was still shiny no matter how much I used which forced me to stop using it.

I have to admit that I never even knew that Clean & Clear Morning Burst had a moisturizer. Their facial cleanser has been a staple in my morning routine for almost 10 years so of course I was going to buy the moisturizer. I do think that the container is a little small and not as cheap as the cleansers. It smells just as good as their cleansers; it is fresh and sort of fruity smelling. I am very glad that it helps control shine because not a lot of products on the market sell moisturizer specific for oily skin! It does make my face matte when I apply it. It only stays that way for about 2 or 3 hours , which is fine with me as long as it slows down the oiling process! Sometimes, I will just apply this on my face alone when I need to go out to run a quick errand or something. It's great for grease balls like me! I love this moisturizer and can't believe that I never even knew about it until recently.

I absolutely love the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer.  I not only use the moisturizer, which I have used for about 3 years, but I also use the facial cleanser which I have used for about two years.  I really think that clean and clear puts some of the best products on the market.  Also, it says morning, but I use it at night as well.  I really feel that there is no better feeling than a clean fresh face when going to bed after a long day (mine are always long, like everyone else's!!)  This is such a great product - my sister in law always comments on how I never have a blemish and have the best skin, we always see our flaws, but it does make you feel like a star when someone else compliments you!!  I plan to continue to use this product for as long as it is on the market - it's light and airy and yet gets the job done!  Way to go Clean 'n' clear!!  Don't spend all the money on the expensive stuff, this is just as great!!

Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer is the best facial moisturizer I have ever used!  It is very effective at moisturizing and softening my skin (which gets very dry due to the benzoyl peroxide face wash I use to control my acne).  Additionally, the Shine Control really works -- it really does keep my skin looking fairly matte throughout the day.  That was always a problem with other moisturizers, as they tended to make my skin shiny, especially my nose and forehead area.  Another great feature of Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer is that it smells great.  I get really sensitive about scents, especially if it is something that I am putting on my face.  Clean and Clear smells great without triggering my sensitivity.  Finally, the price is reasonable.  This is very important to me because, even though I am willing to pay for quality products, I love getting a good deal for my money.  Clean and Clear Morning Burst Shine Control Moisturizer is a great product for a reasonable price, and I would recommend it to anyone suffering from acne and/or oily skin.
