This product dried my skin out and burned it. My skin has been inflamed and itchy every since i started using it. It also made me breakout even MORE than before. Horrible product. Do not recommend.

I bought this because it was recommended by my cousin. It seemed to work very well on her skin. She was glowing. I was excited and also with the fact that it was cheap. I used it for a week but I started getting all these little bumbs all over my face. Well, I just gave it to my brother who at that time had a very dry face. It seemed to work! And so I concluded that this moisturizer is not for me.

I started using this moisturizer right when it came out, as my cousin worked for Clean and Clear and got us samples (10+ years ago). Since then, I have not used another facial moisturizer and will not! I constantly get compliments on how soft and baby-like my skin is, and I fully believe it has everything to do with using this specific moisturizer. The only thing it's missing is some SPF; other than that I am obsessed

I am not sure if Clean & Clear is just not the right product for me, so all their stuff just makes me break out but every time I say hey this is on sale this week maybe I shall try it. I go home put it on and then within a day I am breaking out all over my face. Zits the size of states, hurting painfully hurting pimples that make me look like I just turned 12 years old yesterday. I am guessing that this product is intended for kids who are in their teens and maybe that is why this product does not work with my skin but all I know is that clean & clear does not work at all for me. I wish that it did.

I have used this moisturizer since I was a freshman in college, so it's been nine years! I remember one of my roommates swearing by it, because she was on the diving team and her skin would dry out a lot from the chlorine. So I gave it a try, loved it and haven't switched products since. I then started using the Morning Glow moisturizer just because it had an SPF of 15 but if you read my review about that product, I think it's been discontinued. So now I am back to the original Dual Action moisturizer, and I still like using it as I mentioned before. It is very easy to apply, has a light scent, doesn't make me break out and lasts a long time. It is also at a nice price point, and I can find it at almost any of my local stores. It always helps my skin look renewed and fresh! I have combination skin. Sometimes it is oily but this moisturizer never made me feel greasy or oily. I usually apply it after I get out of the shower and then after it dries for some time I then apply my make up no problem. It's nice and light and works great!

I have always had skin issues and have used many skin care products in my life. I have probably tried them almost all. I am not an expert, but I do have knowledge. Clean & Clear has several good products they have come out with and I still use some of them, but this is one I just did not like. I actually gave it away after only a couple uses. I was excited that it was a dual action moisturizer. Do not let the name fool you. It did help with my breakouts. The thing I disliked is how dry it felt. It seemed more like something I would wash my face with rather than a moisturizer.l get that it is oil free, but it really left my skin feeling patchy and dry. It was not a good feeling. Effectiveness It does help with breakouts and is oil free. Those are the benefits. It really leaves skin feeling dry and patchy though. Ease of Application So easy to use.Pump it out and apply to your face. It is that simple Scent It smells okay. does not have too much of a scent.

I love the Clean & Clear because I often times try to follow up with a moisturizer that matches the facial cleansing products that I use. I do this because you know that the products do not have any conflicting ingredients that could cause more breakouts or anything else. I also really like that this moisturizer is oil free because I often times have extra oily skin. I dedicate this moisturizer to times of the year when I have heavier risks of breakouts and acne. This helps to ensure that I am not contributing to the cause of them! I love it because it is still very good to my skin and keeps it very hydrated. This lotion does not wear off or let my skin become dry after a few hours. It basically lasts all day long. I recommend using this moisturizer if you are looking for something for oily skin. Ease of Application So easy to apply because you can use just a tad bit and it still gets your face moist. If you like to use more do not fret because it will not cause your skin to get oily or have a thick sticky layer.

Clean & Clear Oil-Free Dual Action Moisturizer is one of several moisturizers in my rotation. I have difficulty finding a moisturizer that I am truly pleased with, and while this one is not the answer to my moisturizer prayers either, it is one that I have purchased more than once. I have oily/combination acne-prone skin, and I have not had any problems with this moisturizer. I really like that the packaging has a pump, which I prefer to a tube or jar. The product dispenses easily, and goes on to a skin nicely. It is a medium thickness, and a little goes a long way. It absorbs fairly quickly, and my makeup goes on fine over it. It does not have a fragrance, and is fairly ordinary in every way. I don't really have any complaints about the product, but I guess I just keep looking for something more in a moisturizer. I would recommend this moisturizer as a solid, no-issue product, but in my experience, there is no wow factor with this product and my skin.

At first seemed ok but after two or three uses I noticed my skin was started to become dry. I also noticed that my skin was a bit irritated. I liked the cooling sensation at first but the third time around was not so pleasing. It made my skin feel like it was on fire. Effectiveness The first use of this product worked. After that it only made my skin worse. Ease of Application I give the application process an eight because this product does glide on fairly smooth without all the greasy residue. Scent The scent is amazing.

This product may be acceptable if you don't have dry skin. If you really want something that moisturizers your skin and leaves it moisturized and smooth all day, do not get this product. Clean and Clear Oil Free Dual Action Moisturizer has salicylic acid in it, which is used in facial cleaning products marketed for acne or for those who want to fight off pimples. I see this as a product geared for pubescent teenagers who need a facial moisturizer that helps prevent pimples all day long. I have dry skin and this product was not right for me. I felt that it actually made my skin more dry instead of moisturizing it. I think I had to apply it at least two or three times in the span of a few hours to feel any kind dry skin relief. I probably shouldn't give this as high as a five, but I feel like this may work better for someone who doesn't already have really dry skin. In my opinion, a face moisturizer with salicylic acid isn't necessary. Just find a product that is light on the skin, not greasy, and doesn't clog pores.
