I love it..

Before my second baby arrived, and because i was suffering with my first in travelings, malles, park and zoo, so i and my wife started searching about a good travel system on internet and asking our friends. Finally we found chicco cortina, it is really good for baby and us, it is easy to use, easy to clean, safety and not heavy at all. We love it especially with beautiful style and colors. And now we got our third baby, and we still using the same travel system from chicco.

Great for New Parents!

5

My husband and I registered for this travel system when we were expecting our first child, and I must say, all of this stuff can be pretty overwhelming to first-time parents. But, Chicco's travel system stroller/base/car seat system made it very easy to figure out. The car seat and stroller are sold individually, but work as a set. You install the base, and then the car seat securely snaps into that. The car seat can then be removed from the base and placed into the stroller with baby still securely inside, or, you can also remove baby from the car seat and put baby into stroller alone. It is a great system that gives you options. The stroller itself is nice because it folds down easily and fits nicely into the trunk of a car. It has smaller wheels, so if you are using it for shopping, it fits in and out of doorways very nicely when compared to some of the larger, "jogging" style strollers. We purchased a second base to go with our travel system, so my husband and I would each have one in our car, and I found that to be helpful. Just one word of warning to new parents: The car seat is pretty heavy, so with the baby inside, you may need a helping hand carrying that thing around if you just delivered you new bundle. Otherwise, this travel system is great, extremely safe and I would buy it if I had to do it all over again.

Good option for taller parents

4

I, myself, am 5'10" while my significant other is 6'7", so when researching strollers I found out that certain strollers are better for people who are taller. The Chicco travel system is the one we settled on and overall it has been a great stroller. When the little one was still in the snap and go carseat, it was so nice to be able to leave her in the seat and move her from the car to the stroller. Durability After about two years of use, it's got it's share of dings and scratches. Overall, it's still in good shape and works great. The grip on the handle of the stroller did tear pretty easily, but it was nothing some duct tape couldn't fix. It doesn't look pretty but it got the job done. Versatility i have used this stroller all over the place. The only time I don't use it is when I'm jogging (since it's not a jogging stroller). Ease of Cleaning The stroller has seen it's share of dirt and spills, spot cleaning works okay for the most part. I haven't been able to get everything off of it though.

Best travel system Ive bought!

5

The Chicco Cortina Keyfit 30 travel system was a great purchase. Pretty styles of fabric to choose from. The car seat is comfy for baby and baby's neck, the stroller glides smoothly, unlike eddie bauer one I had purchased for my first child. Assembly was very easy, and operating the system is a breeze. This system was worth the money. This stoller was one of the only ones that was easy to both fold and unfold. Has plenty of storage for baby items, purses, bags, and cup holders for drinks. This system is sturdy as well, doesn't feel cheap like other ones. Easy to transfer car seat to stroller. Haven't had a chance to use with baby, due in a few months but from what I can see so far overall it is a great system and I would recommend it to a friend. Versatility Easy to transfer from carseat to stroller, and car seat to car. Ease of Use Very easy to assemble, as well as fold and unfold stroller. Ease of Cleaning Have not been able to test this yet.

Incredibly User Friendly.

I love the Keyfit carseat and stroller! They are very simple to install, easy to hook and unhook the infant while sleeping, and the fabric cleans very easily. The only thing I am not 100% in love with is the bulk of the stroller. However, it does have a great turning radius and makes it easy to go over uneven sidewalk or brick walkways, unlike many other strollers I have tried.

Best stroller/car seat system out there!

5

We bought this travel system under our best friends recommendations when we were pregnant with our first. Turns out it was one of the best things we bought for her. It has been amazing. We love how the car seat snaps into the car seat base, but then just snaps into the stroller too! So easy! It's much easier pulling her out of the car, then just snapping her into the car seat...easy transfer. Design is great & looks good. And the shocks on the stroller are amazing! Such a soft, smooth ride. Bumps are easy to go over & baby hardly notices. The car seat has held up well. And it's so simple & easy to transfer into other cars if need be. Just slide the belt in & go. I really can't emphasize how easy this system is. I highly recommend. It's definitely worth the higher price tag. Were getting tardy to have our third baby now & it's still going to be good for him/her. It has held up well through two very active babies. :)

Still happy 5 YEARS later!

5

I was advised to buy this while pregnant with my first baby. I was happy for all the obvious reasons. It was durable, it was comfortable for my kid, the baby seat fit in the stroller very easily. The stroller moved well. All of that. When my first was 22 months old, we brought a second baby into the world. At first I tried the LLLOOONNNGGG double stroller. Totally ineffecient. You should have seen me at a chili cookoff or the farmer's market trying to maneuver that bad boy around. And taking it on long walks? No thank you. Terrible steering and I felt exhausted from pushing. I settled on a double running stroller to exercise and that worked, but everyday stuff was still kind of hard. I've done everything, a sit and stand, a jogger, a double, using this one for the baby and having oldest on a leash. I've always gone back to loving the Chicco best. Even though the sit and stand worked, I never got rid of the Chicco. Something just told me that our days weren't over. Fast forward to last week. We went to Disney. Our "babies" are now 3 and 5. Too old to be constantly in a stroller but too young to walk 8 hours. We planned on the sit and stand. The day before we were leaving I took the sit and stand to the store to get a practice run. OMG! It was awful. They fought the entire time about who'd be in front, who'd sit or stand in back. Steering was so hard and my five year old's head now hits the umbrella above because he's gotten so tall. We got the Chicco out, put the 3 year old in, it moved with ease. Put the 5 year old in, it still moved with ease. May I add, our 5 year old is in the 99th percentile for height and weight? He is in 6 pants and xs shirts. He goes up to my chest. He was still comfortable in the stroller. We decided to take the chicco and let them trade out. Best decision ever. That Chicco is a workhorse. We spent 5 days at various parks and used it no less than 5 hours each of those days. At times my 7 year old niece was sitting with my 3 year old on her lap and it was STILL easy to roll. We pushed both kids in the seat, one kid at a time, sometimes the 3 year old would crawl in the storage compartment and curl up (probably not good parenting?) and the 5 year old would be in the seat. It was amazing. I highly recommend.

Easy to use, Worth the money

We love our Chicco travel system. The stroller truely can be opened and closed with one hand which is perfect for parents. The stroller has the perfect amount of safety features like shoulder and waist restraints so that this stroller can grow with you as your child grows. We love everythign about this stroller and car seat duo! Durability We used this stroller so much I thought for sure it would fall apart, but is just as sterdy as when we first purchsed it. We both love it! The car seat is wonderful too! The way it snaps into the base in the car and the stroller give the parent peace of mind knowing they did it right and their child is safe. Versatility The stroller is small enough to fit in small cars, yet big enough to carry just about everything. The basket underneath is just the right size and the stroller is very well made. The car seat is wonderful. It keeps the baby warm, safe and gives the parent peace of mind. This system is definitely worth the money! Ease of Use Both the car seat and stoller can be used with 1 hand. There are not any other stroller I have come across that can be opened and closed with one hand. The car seat can be easily and safely snapped into the base in the car with one hand. This is the perfect system for both new parents and parents with older children. Safety This stroller and car seat duo is wonderful! We have used this stroller over all different kinds of terrain and it has held up great! The restraints can grow with the child very easily. Ease of Cleaning Everything about this package is easily cleaned. The car seat padding all comes apart for cleaning purposes and can be washed and dried right at home in the machines. The stroller is perfect for those messy kiddos and is easily wiped out or sprayed down with a hose without having to worry about ruining it.

One of the safest carseats and strollers out there.

We bought this off of the safety rating it received from consumer reports. The carseat was very sturdy and went thru 3 kids. The stroller is still being used by my 3 year old on long outings. Durability This system is built to last and built to protect. It is a bit on the heavy side but we are talking about a carseat and a stroller that holds your precious baby in it...don't you want it to be sturdy and not flimsy in case of an accident? Ease of Use Overall I can open the stroller when needed with one hand and close with one hand. The carseat is a bit heavy but that is part of the trade off for having a very well built carseat. Being able to adjust the handle height was a huge factor as well since my husband is 6'3" and I am 5'5". Safety When we bought our system 5 years ago it was one of the top 5 rated carseats by consumer reports. Ease of Cleaning A little bit of a pain to clean but most carseats are and same with strollers but overall ours has been through war and back with our girls and it still looks great.
