Excellent espresso maker once you develop a system
I always wanted to try a stove top espresso maker so I decided to take a chance on the Chefs Secret? 4-Cup Heavy-Gauge Stainless Steel Espresso Maker. It took me several attempts to make an espresso to my liking. I unscrewed the base from the top and packed the chamber basket with espresso grounds. I then poured water into the water section of the base and place the chamber basket back in place. I then proceeded to screw the top back on the base and placed the pot onto my stove. I preheated the stove to 190 degrees and let it brew for exactly 4 minutes and 30 seconds. If I wait any longer there is a drastic drop off in taste. This process produces a great espresso every time, but timing is everything. Once I'm done brewing I rinse out the pot with a little warm water. My only gripe with this product is that timing and heat must be exact or the taste of espresso will suffer greatly. Besides that issue I would definitely recommend the Chefs Secret? 4-Cup Heavy-Gauge Stainless Steel Espresso Maker.
