Time to pack your bags and travel

The Continental Airlines OnePass Plus MasterCard by Chase is one of the credit cards I would look into switching my milage credit card too. The problem: The airline. Ever since Continental Airlines merged with United, their service has gone downhill a bit. However, since the merger, there are now more flight options available at a lower redeemable rate. There is always a trade-off. Chase offers amazing customer service and perks with holding their credit cards, in addition to the number of banking locations that Chase offers. Customer Service The customer service that comes along with the Chase Continental Airlines OnePass Plus MasterCard is above par than your average milage credit card. The customer service team at Chase acts quickly and efficiently, leaving you at home on hold for a minimal period of time. Available Rates While the rates that are currently available on the Chase Continental Airlines OnePass Plus MasterCard are not bad, they are not great either. I rated them in the middle because that is exactly where the current rates offered on this card fall in the greater spectrum.

Best credit card I have ever used.

This card has been amazing. I began using it last year and I haven't had any problems with it. I have received many miles since using this and my airport experience has been a lot easier. I don't know how anyone could not like this card. I am being serious. This card is great.

Chase Lacking in Customer Service

1

Do not use this card. I purchased COntinental tickets and when I tried to use the card it was rejected several times. I used another card and was subsequently told by Chase that it was because the activity looked suspicious. Really? Buying tickets on Continental in the names of myself, my wife and our children? Suspicious? I had not used the card in a few months due to the high interest rate, so they said this was the issue. I guess I missed the part in the brochure that said if you don;t use the card often enough it will be rendered useless. Anyway, I realized that I will not be able to enjoy the "first bag free" benefit for myself and my wife, thanks to Chase's error. I called and asked them to compensate me and they offered me 1000 courtesy miles. I asked them to credit the $95 annual fee and they said it was impossible. I guess I'll be paying an extra $100 in baggage fees, no thanks to Chase. So, Chase makes a bad judgment and it costs the customer money - and after 10 years as a loyal customer with exceptional credit scores, I m left to pay the price. Very nice way to treat a customer.

I opened the card this summer and was pleasantyl surprised to find that I can use the points to pay for an ailline ticket to any where in the world,a s well as cruises and vacation packages. I use it for all of my bill paying needs through out the month. I have only had the card for 3 months but  within the next 3 months I will ahve accumulated enough poibnts to buy one full trip ticket. It is one of the best things I have ever did. Imagine the money you could save.

Continental Mastercard is good

This is a good card to have if you frequently travel on Continental Airlines.  The bonus miles for signing in are good, but the best benefit is that you get your first checked bag free.  The $85 annual fee is basically paid for with 2 round trips.  I also found that if I purchase tickets for my husband and I together on the card, he also gets his first checked bag free but I'm not sure if that is because of my elite status or if it is because of the card.  The only small issue for me is that I was attracted to the business 2 for 1 tickets on international flights, but failed to read the fine print that it had to be a j class ticket.  When booking international travel, the j fares wound up being twice as expensive as the discounted first class fares, so there really was no benefit to having the card in that instance.  Other than that, I've had great experience with the card.  Also, when I signed up I chose the 10,000 extra elite qualifying miles which helped me reach a new status tier for the year.

I just got 30,000 miles for signing up!

This is a great card. I just earned 30000 miles for signing up which could get me enough miles to fly free to anywhere in the US. This is the best part of the card. Also, you can earns 2 miles per $1 on purchased at continental and you can also earn 1 mile for every $1 on everythign else. Given this and the miles i've already earned, i can really afford to take a trip anywhere in the US. I'm thinkiing of going to Vegas which would be really cooll and shouldnt be too hard with the miles i have. The downside to the caed is the $89 annual fee which means you basically have to use the card to get a good beneift out of it. If you dont use it, then you shouldnt get it because of the large annual fee. I've heard that you can actually wiave the annual fee but im not sure if it can be done with out giving upt your miles or something of that sort. So in closing, get this card and you will be satistifed.

good card for Continental One Pass members

**Continental Airlines World Mastercard is a good card for One Pass members - there is no charge for a first bag checked.  You get extra miles for  purchasing Continental Airlines tickets. You receive a generous bonus for signing up for card - usually enough for a domestic round trip ticket.  Moderate annual fee which will not break your bank. I wish I had got this card a long time ago as I tend to fly exclusively on Continental Airlines.   **
