Replaced a terrible grill with this one - love it!

My family really likes this rill. We purchased after we had purchased a pretty crappy one less than a year before. This grill has worked phenomenally and still functions properly after several hundred uses. Performance This grill allows cooking meat to perfection. The burners work evenly. The temperatures are consistent. Versatility We grill everything on this grill....hamburgers, steaks, pork chops, chicken, shrimp, hot dogs, etc. All of our food always turns out great. Ease of Use This grill is very easy to use. I was able to figure it out on my first use without reading the directions. Ease of Cleaning The grill is very easy to clean. I wipe the outside down with soap and water and clean the inside of the lid like that as well. I use a grill brush to clean the grates. Durability This grill is very durable. Our family loves to grill out so every summer and many times in the winter we will grill out. We have used this grill several hundred times and it still works great. Design The design is very simple and pretty standard of any grill. It is very sturdy and structurally sound.

A Propanr Grill for the Grilling Pro

5

We acquired our Char Griller Grillin pro by accident--a friend was going overseas and gave it to us. Naturally, we didn't refuse--good propane grills are pretty expensive. While we didn't grill often beofre we got it, we quickly discovered this grill was a very nice addition to the household. It's very easy to control the temperature by adjusting the flame, and it's easy to clean as well. This grill is also very efficient--a small propane tank lasts us a few months, even when we grill twice a week. The cooking area is large enough to accomodate steaks for 4 plus veggie kabobs or foil wrapped corn on the cob or potatoes for all of us as well, which is a real plus. As we live in southern Arizona, it's nice to have a way to cook great meals during the summer without overheating the house. Performance The Char Griller definitely performs very well--food cooks evenly, and the full flavor of the food is preserved with no odd tastes. Whether you are cooking foilwrapped fish, kabobs, or even baked beans in a pan, the food comes out right every time, and the grill is easy enough to use that even a beginner can successfully prepare an entire meal with this grill. We have cooked fish, chicken, pork, hamburgers and hotdogs, and baked potatoes regularly. Versatility This is a very versatile appliance to have around the house. We have managed to adapt a lot of different recipes so we can use the grill instead of a stove--my other half even makes apple and blueberry cobblers of a sort on our grill now. Ease of Use Setting up the grill is very simple, and the instructions are very easy to follow. Though this is our first propane grill, we didn't have any problems figuring out how to use it, and we haven't ruined any food yet. Ease of Cleaning This grill is easy to clean--food particles are easy to scrub off the rack, and with a little bit of care (like wrapping foods in foil tightly, or even using a cookie sheet to hold foods that are cooking, clean up is almost non-existent with some meals. We haven't had any cleaning problems at all--the only problem we did have was bees trying to nest in it a few times, We find that leaving it partially open solves that problem. Durability This grill is very tough--it has been knocked over a few times, and other than minor denting, there was no damage to speak of. None of the damage has affected the cooking ability at all. The finish is very durable as well--we didn't even chip the pain when it got knocked over, and the surface is very scratch resistant. Design While wewould have liked larger side shelves on the grill, the overall design is very good. It is easy to position and move around, it's at a good height for cooking as well. My other half built a simple shelf extension for us that is working out quite well.

Great gas grill with very few flaws

I have used this grill all summer and I am very happy with it. Food cooks quickly and comes out with that great grilled taste. My favorite part of the grill is the cast iron grates. They leave those awesome dark grill lines on the food. The grill also seems to do very well on propane conservation. I have used this grill countless times over the summer and have only had to get 2 propane refils

At first I was put off

3

when I opened to box on the first one I brought home there were several parts missing. Not a very good start. So I exchanged it and got home with the second one, and found the base had a large dent in the back. Rather than return it again, I pushed the dent out of it and started assembly. The bolts for the legs were disturbingly small, so I used the larger bolts there and found some more in my shop to finish with. This made the legs much sturdier than the designer intended, and made me feel better about having my wife use it, as well. Performance reasonable even heat. Highly accurate thermometer. Versatility Huh? All I do is grill with it. What else does it do? Ease of Use Electronic ignition is easy to use and reliable Ease of Cleaning no harder (or easier) than any other, but the grate lifter (tool) was a nice touch. Durability Better than intended with the longer bolts in the legs. Design once again, Better than intended with the longer bolts in the legs. Even so, I would not recommend this unit for travelling.

I love this grill! It is solid and will last for ever. It is  great for cooking and the side burner works well . I do not have the smoker attachment but will be ordering it soon. I use it several times a week because everyone like BBQ.

The Char Griller Professional does it all!

4

The Char Griller Professional is a great purchase. With a cost starting on the low end, and accessories to make it an "all in one", this grill really does it all. The removeable cast iron grates come with their own "grabber". A great device to move either a small section, or all of the grates if necessary and easily! The adjustable charcoal tray allows plenty of room for your favorite wood chips for smoking, or just adding a little extra flavor to whatever you are grilling. The small barrel smoker attachement comes seperate, but at a reasonable price. The Char Griller Professional comes with two shelves, on in front and one on the side, with a handle attached. The two weels and the handle make it easy to move even this large grill with ease. I would recomend this grill to any outdoor cooking lover.

Char-Griller Grillin' Pro exceeds expectations

After shopping at several stores, my son chose this grill and our family is very happy with it. The dual stacks make for even heating, the porcelain coated flame shields and the cast iron grates make it easier to clean.  The 645 inches of cooking area is ample.  40,800 BTU's is just right.  The 6" wheels make it easy to move.  My son does most of the cooking on this grill and he even grills when there is snow on the ground!
