We do many camping trips and this grill was the perfect size for us. It maintains the heat very well. I have been recommending it to all of our friends that also enjoy camping out as much as we do. It has also been of great use at home.

My husband and I have recently been grilling and smoking a lot and have started to build up our operation. We already had the char griller large size smoker but we wanted to add a side fire box. This one is the way to go. It can be used as s table top griller which we started with. It works great. It can fit up to 12 burgers on the grilling surface. I bet you could fit a single rack of ribs if you really wanted to. One down fall is once it is installed on the smoker it cannot be taken off. We love to have wood going in the side fire box and charcoal in the big smoker to add a lot of smoky flavor. This side box is priced great and adapts to almost all the char griller grills. It is easy to install but I would recommend two people to install it because it is really heavy. It is easy to use, easy to light and easy to clean. It is a great way for indirect heat when smoking ribs and other meats. Very easy to regulate the temperature and pretty fool proof. We have really enjoyed all the cooking we have done on this side box and hope to do a lot more. I would recommend this for people jut starting out and for those who are smoking enthusiasts alike. It is a great overall product and priced just right.

Easy to transport and move around. Give a good charcoal flavor, but just a standard use grill for small meals or a quick setup. Performance Works well for the intended purpose of grilling with a charcoal grill. Use it as an additional grill for that charcoal flavor and buy a bigger grill to really get your grilling on! Versatility Pretty much used to do small meals, grilling with charcoal. Can travel around with this grill. Also, can be used as a smoker if you get the attachable unit. Ease of Use Easy to use, throw on your meat or veggies and grill away. Spacing between grating requires using tin foil when grilling veggies. Ease of Cleaning Standard ease of cleaning with a bottom tray and tops grates setup to remove to gain access to clean. Durability Very very solid. Well built. Design Pretty good design, durable and can be used as an accessory to another grill. Designed to either be a grill or a smoker (but only when attached to a bigger unit). I use it for grilling only.
