As with any product there are pros and cons, but this product outweighs most others for me. Pros: A little goes a long way, it glides on smoothly and the high SPF is a real plus. It doesn't have an offending odor and works well under your makeup, it's good for both men and women, but I can't recommend for children or women of color. . The price is higher than others but it lasts a long time even with daily use. Cons: It is white and even if you use a small amount, takes longer than it should to absorb. If you don't rub in every spot, you will be left with a white spot. Living in Florida, I don't know how long I can be in the sun before the SPF starts to wear off. The bottle doesn't come in a convenient travel size (for the beach) so I need to bring carry another sunscreen with me in my purse or beach bag. If you use too much, it will feel greasy on your skin, especially the face. It sometimes notice a medicinal scent, especially if I do any sports with it on. wish it was completely odorless. Last, can 't use as a night moisturizer because of the SPF. Overall, it's a good product but not the best.

Cetaphil Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 50 is awesome! First of all, SPF 50! This is really hard to find in a moisturizer. Usually you get anything from 15-30 SPF, but rarely 50, so I was excited about that. I live where the sun is really strong so a higher number means a lot to me. This moisturizer is great because I have oily skin and it absorbs rapidly and does not leave a residue, or oil, or shine and has not caused breakouts. It comes at a good price, is easy to apply and last for a good amount of time. Cetaphil products are always great and I have been satisfied with my purchases from them. They are soft and lightweight and not hard on the skin and non-irritating. I would recommend this moisturizer/sunscreen for oily, normal, dry, aged, young or sensitive skin. Effectiveness Great, protects, nourishes and hydrates. Ease of Application Easy and absorbs rapidly and effectively. Scent The scent is pretty non-existent as most Cetaphil products are.

Having used and witnessed the results of Cetaphil Moisturizer on my dry skin, I decided to give this Cetaphil Facial Moisturizer SPF 50 a shot and I am glad I did. Since I have dry skin, this moisturizer works well for me. I use it every time after the shower on damp skin for better absorption. Sometimes, when I am in a hurry, I mix it up with some other moisturizer before applying, so my face doesn't end up looking white, since by itself alone, it takes some time to absorb thoroughly. If used properly and regularly, you will notice the deviation. No sunburns or anything like on the face, what you will be left with will be the baby soft skin. I will recommend this product to anyone with dry or sensitive skin. Unless you are looking for an Organic facial moisturizer with SPF, this might be the one worth a try! Though Cetaphil products are somewhat costly, yet they are worth! Scent It is fragrance free, that makes it excellent for those with sensitive skin.

I don't use it very often, and there is a reason for that, but first let me review the product. It is gentle on the skin, and moisturizes pretty well. As for the reason I don't use it so often, I have brown skin, and this stuff makes my face look white when I put it on. Not a good look. And it is hard to rub in. I usually have to mix it in with another moisturizer so my face doesn't look white. O think this product works better for people who are fair-skinned. Effectiveness I will rate it good, because I don't use it often enough to rate its effectiveness, Ease of Application It is kind of hard to rub in, and takes a long time to rub in. Scent There is no scent or fragrance so it is good for sensitive skin.

My husband and I have opposite skin types. My skin tends to be really dry and his tends to be oily and break out. However, we both agree that we love this moisturizer with SPF on both of our skin. It is also reasonably priced and my dermotologist recommends this brand. I think that it is just a little greasy, but really, I don't know any product like this that isn't. Also, my dermotologist told me that he thought that I could use this while I was pregnant and nursing my son and that was really important to me. Even though I am no longer pregnant, I switched to products that are pregnancy-safe because now I think that we should all use pregnancy-safe products! I also think that this has lasted a long time, so not only was it reasonably priced, it is also a good size that has lasted a long time. I recommended this to my sister too and she said that she likes using it too. She tried it at my house and then bought her own.

Cetaphil has worked well on my sensitive skin, so I was happy to try Cetaphil's new spf 50 moisturizer. It has the same quality as their moisturizers and skin cleansers and has not irritated my sensitive skin. I really like cetaphil's products but do wish they could offer a more natural line with organic/natural products. Other than that, this is fantastic. It's more expensive than some moisturizers with spf but is good quality with a great pump that is easy to travel with as long as you put the clear plastic lid on it so it won't spill or shoot out on anything. The size is handy and the moisturizer goes a long way. I just use a little to cover the desired areas and the moisturizer absorbs quickly and is not greasy. It does not leave a residue or white film, which is great, especially if I am trying to get ready quickly. If you aren't looking for a natural/organic product, this is a great moisturizer with a really high SPF.

My dermatologist recommended cetaphil to me as my face is extremely sensitive and many of the creams and lotions available would actually end up causing rashes to appear (and itch terribly) on my face. I am also very fair skinned so i needed something with sunscreeen which also helps with rosacea. I started off with the daily moisturizer that they put out that only has an SPF of 15, but was pleased with it and especially loved that it didn't cause me pain! :) Then they came out with this product available in the 50 SPF. The only thing i do not like about this as much (and why i didn't give it the full 5 stars) is because of the packaging. The old lotion/cream came with a nozzle/spout but the new botlle is created like a hand lotion-too much comes out in my opinion. But it is a thick cream that doesn't feel thick (doesn't feel like my skin can't breathe after applying) and absorbs quickly which is really important to me as i hate the greasy feel of some creams and lotions currently on the market.
