My dog is a small Chihuahua so when I saw Cesar Softies Dog Treats which are formulated specifically for small dogs I had to buy a pouch for him. Actually, I got him two pouches - one of the Prime Rib and one of the Medley variety. They also come in Filet Mignon and Grilled Chicken. Both flavors were a hit, but the Medley was the clear favorite. He enjoyed the combination of flavors (Porterhouse Steak, Grilled Chicken, and Bacon). The treats are nicely sized for his little mouth and since they are soft they are very easy to chew. Perhaps they are too easy since he always seems to inhale them ultra fast and then look at me sadly to give him more. The treats come in adorable shapes which I really like. There are tiny little paws, bones, and hearts and they are absolutely adorable! These do tend to dry out rather quickly as I realized when the pouch zipper did not close completely one night. My dog, of course, still ate them but if you want to be sure to keep them soft you may want to transfer them out of their original pouch.

I own two large breed dogs and I bought these thinking they were something else. When I got home I realized these are very small individual treats and was not too happy. I had to feed about a third of the bag in one sitting because they are so small. They are true to the title though and are Softies! I had to feed so many that I do not know how fast they get hard/stale. The package kept them fresh for as long as I had them so that was a plus. The Caesar Softies Dog Treats come in such a small package as well. I might consider buying them if there was a larger size, but I do not think they make one. They also come from a great company that I trust to use quality ingredients in the foods they produce. I would recommend them for smaller dog breeds though. The flavor was not an issue as my dogs annihilated the entire bag within two days of opening it. They are a great treat, just not for big dogs.

My older dog has a very hard time chewing on the harder bones and treats that I buy for the other dogs, so I buy him special treats that are softer. I saw these and decided to give them a try because it is hard to find a good and soft treat that satisfies my dog. I gave him these and he liked them a lot, but as I was giving them to him I noticed that they did not smell very good, they kind of stink, but I just ignored it. A little bit later he came up to me and his breath smelled so bad it almost made me sick, even him just breathing near me made the area smell so bad. I gave him treats again and then it happened again so I realized that it had to be coming from the treats. They are good for the dog, and he really enjoyed them, but I can not stand the smell that it gives to his breath, it is not worth it for me to have to smell that. I even went and tried two of the other flavors of these, and they all ended up doing the same thing to his breath, and there has to be something in them that is causing it, so I just never used them again.

I buy Cesar, because my Chihuahua loves it and it is her favorite treat. I use it to reward her for training purposes. She will come and get me the moment she does what she is suppose to do to get her treat right away. I love that you receive 75 pieces in a pack. It's a great value for the price. They come in 3 different varieties. There is the grilled chicken flavor, filet mignon flavor, and the trio medley which contains: porterhouse flavor, grilled chicken flavor, and applewood smoked bacon flavor. They come in cute shapes of paw prints, bones and hearts. She loves all of them. The ziplock bag keeps them fresh and moist for a long time. They even come in a purse pouch too, which is so cute for travel! This is just the right size for my little one. I make sure to keep a big supply for her. Don't rattle the bag, she'll make a mad dash for them! I also have to keep them up high out of her reach or they'll be gone.

I have two small dogs who are sometimes picky with what they eat, but Cesar's products never fail in creating a yummy snack for my dogs :) Their favorites are the paw print treats and they are always thrilled to have a Cesar treat :) I would recommend Cesar's treats to friends and family with dogs :) Cesar provides many great products with a variety of flavors for dogs. I enjoy seeing what flavor I will feed my dogs next because they are so detailed and enticing. Of all of the dog food products my family has given our dogs, Cesar has to be the favorite. Being able to get my dogs the food they need while enjoying the flavor is important to my family since we are true animal lovers :) Cesar is the number one pet food product in my house and my dogs greatly appreciate what the brand has to offer...and so do I :)

This is the perfect treat for my old dog. He is a 12 year old Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu mix. He is supposed to weight between 10 and 15 lbs. He has always had a problem with his weight because he doesn't like to exercise (go for walks) and he isn't very energetic. We like to spoil him though and Cesar Softies are perfect for him. They are soft which is great because he has trouble chewing dry or jerky-like treats. They are only 10 calories per treat which is great because we can give him 2-3 at a time. He loves the flavor and he will practically do anything for the Grilled Chicken flavored softies. Probably the best feature for us is the fact that they are soft. My dog started having problems with chewing dry food a couple of years ago. We didn't really notice until we saw that he was losing weight and not eating all of his food. At first we thought that he was losing his appetite but when we bought these soft treats he would scarf them down. That is when we switched from dry dog food to Cesar Canine Cuisine. Now he is a Cesar dog.

My little Maltese dog loves these. Sometimes I wonder if it is the only thing that will get her to settle down and be still. Although, it may be a double edged sword by giving her a boost of treat filled craziness. One bag is a little pricey but they are good quality dog treats and they last forever if you have a small dog. What  I do is take one treat and then break it up into like five or more pieces and she will do tricks for each little piece. Little does she know she's working for crumbs! Hahaha It's nice that they're soft and easy to break apart too. Some dog treats you need a heavy mallet to break apart into small pieces.. but to be fair, those are for chewing more and letting them gnaw on things. For training purposes, these are great, convenient, little pocket pieces that can be put in a plastic baggy. I have yet to see one dog not want one of these or snub their nose. In fact, one time the sealed bag was left unattended and when I got back there were bite mark attempts to get inside.

I use this **Cesar Treats **for my dog's training purposes.  My dog is mid size, so as treats, they are a bit too small in size.  But perfect size for training treat!  Taste wise, my dog seems to be liking it.  Well, he does the trick for this, so it means he likes it, I think.  Usually, you can get coupons from newspaper or in the woman's magazine or dog magazine, so you don't have to spend fortune for this.  But if you don't get those coupons, it might be a bit high end comparing to other treats.  It looks fancy and easy to carry around, though.  It is not a dry treat, it is more like a wet, soft treat, so I think dogs prefer this.  And smells like a real, so I bet it taste like meat as well.  I tried offering one of those dog biscuits and this **Cesar Treats** and my dog chose **Cesar Treats. **The other biscuits was much bigger in size, but my dog chose because of taste.  It has two kinds as far as I know, chicken flavor and beef flavor.

The Cesar brand of dog food is one that my beagle enjoys so when I saw that they offered a line of treats, I decided to snag a bag for her and see what she thought. Well I understand that the Cesar line of products is generally geared towards smaller breeds of dogs, I was still quite surprised to find just how tiny these treats were and the bag wasn't that big either. My beagle literally swallowed one whole when I tossed it to her and basically didn't savor whatever gooey goodness was in that morsel. It was as if I was tempting her with that one small treat pretty much in the way we humans torture ourselves with 100 calorie packs when we all know we want to savor a bigger yummier portion, see what Im saying? Since I end up having to give her more than 1 of these at a time, I found that the bag of treats didn't last me as long as it would my usual treat of choice for her. I suppose these will be fine for much smaller dogs, but didnt satisfy my beagle's need for a snack.
