Several in my family take this multivitamin. It is available in most stores and at a very reasonable price. When taking this vitamin, you will not have to worry about taking a bunch of other vitamins. It will offer you the amount of each supplement your body needs. This is a very good vitamin!

I am a big fan of vitamins of all kinds. These vitamins are great. They really do have all the things you need from a to z. I bought some of these for my mom and she loves 'em. I like that they have added this Centrum Silver for those past a certain age, as they may be needing certain vitamins or level of vitamins that are not contained in the original Centrum. I have been taking Centrum for a long time now and love that you can get many or all of your vitamins in just one pill. They have helped me stay healthy and rarely get sick. Centrum silver is great for the elderly as they are in need of more vitamins and minerals as time goes by. Centrum provides specific needs for their bodies at that age and helps them to stay as fit and healthy as they can be, combined with exercise and a balanced diet of foods. They are a great addition to your everyday living and they only take a minute to take them in the morning.

I have been using Centrum Silver since I turned 50 and I am happy with thids multiple vitamin. Consumer Reports had a favorable article on this mutivitamin within the last year or so. They reported that they did not perform test on this vitamin because it had be so consistent over the years in its content as claimed.

Centrum Silver has everything I need, but can be a bit expensive.  Look for coupons to use!  I feel safer taking vitamins with the Centrum name, than some lower priced generic or health food brand. And it can be found in every grocery and drug store.

I am a nurse and I have been taking Centrum Silver products for the past twenty years and have been very satisfied until now. Last month, I bought a bottle of Centrum Silver Ultra Women's. For two weeks I attempted without success to adjust to the extremely large size of these tablets. I tried swallowing them whole with great difficulty and discomfort. I even split them in half thinking this would facilitate swallowing. It did not, it actually intensified the discomfort because the cut edges of the tablets seem to cause the tablets to lodge in the esophagus and irritate the tissues of that area before reaching the stomach. I have never had difficulty swallowing medications before until trying this product. I have even taken a number of my medications together in one swallow. This would absolutely be impossible to do with the new Centrum Silver Ultra Women's tablets. Taking it alone is extremely difficult. I would judge the tablets to be not only difficult to swallow, they present a potentially serious **health hazard risk and safety issue**. As a nurse, I would highly discourage others from purchasing this vitamin/mineral supplement.

Centrum Silver really works! I have been taking so many differnent types of vitamins all year and I have not been satisified with any of them. It has been very expensive trying different vitamins on the chance that they will work. I'm not quite fifty yet but close enough, I decided to give these a try. I was suffering from lack of energy,my bones hurt, my hair was falling out and my nails were brittle and chipping. After about a week of taking these i really noticed a difference in my energy. I had the energy to get up and go, i felt so much energy i'm back to walking a half mile a day, something i had stopped doing. I felt less pain in my bones. Another week passed and my nails stopped chipping. I even see a luster to my hair that i didn't see before. The price for the vitamins is reasonable considering how much i had already spent. The only problem i have is that the vitamins are really big. I also take them with food because i feel that they are a bit strong. I am so glad i found these, the hunt is over.

I continuously compare labels and Centrum Silver is one of the better multi vitamins on the market.  It contains higher levels of ingredients than most over the counter vitamins. This is one of two brands I will normally look for.  I was a store manager for two vitamin and health food stores back in the early seventies and learned quite a bit about vitamins at that time.  Ever since then I have been taking a regiment of vitamin and mineral supplements.  After I turned 50 I started looking at the multi vitamin I was taking and switched to Centrum Silver.  I have believed for many years that a multi vitamin is only hitting the minimum requirements for me so I continue to take additional vitamins and minerals in addition to Centrum Silver.  My wife is also taking the same regiment of supplements that I am.  I am now in my sixties.  My hair still stops the barbers clippers, my weight remains constant, my cholesterol and triglyceride levels are good and I feel good overall.  I compare myself to my siblings and I am doing much better.  I believe the constant use of supplements is part of the reason.  Centrum Silver is a good product but for me I think I need more.

Started taking Centrum Silver a month ago and it has truly been amazing how it has given me more energy and made me feel better.  I would definitely recommend this to anyone in their 50's who need a little boost!!!

There are so many generics and i really do use my share of them but when my doctor told me to be sure and get the name brand drug for a medical condition it worked so much better that i never tried another multi vitamin. At 45 i don' feel like i'm ready to retire but like so many people these days every bit counts and this product kicked butt.

Centrum has a huge advertising budget that they use to infuse their product name in consumer's minds. However, if you are vitamin savvy at all, you know that by comparing a really good multivitamin to Centrum Silver you will find it comes up short. Not all of the vitamins are naturally sourced. Synthetic vitamins are thought by some experts to not absorb as well as those from food sources. An example of this is looking for d-alpha sourced vitamin E. It is the natural source versus the dl-alpha synthetic source found in Centrum. This is a case of you get what you pay for. If you are truly health conscious, pay a bit more and get a vitamin that absorbs well and provides a better overall health benefit.
