Centrum Silver Chewable Vitamins do not contain iron. I didn't know that when I bought these though so I ended up taking an iron supplement with them. These vitamins are expensive so I thought for sure they would be "complete" especially since they are suppose to be formulated for older people. Maybe some older people don't have to take iron, but I do. I do like the fact that they are chewable vitamins though. This means I can take them whenever I want to, easily and without water. I usually take them in the morning but if I forget it's easy to just grab them on my way out the door. Truthfully though they don't really taste very good. If I do take them at home, I try not to chew them and just swallow them with water instead. I think that these are just average vitamins and not necessarily worth the premium price that I had to pay for them. Especially if I consider that I still have to buy and take an iron supplement.

Taking vitamins is something I need to do but it was always a chore to swallow the pills.I would find myself skipping days at a time because I hated it so. I help my elderly mother with all of her daily routine, including going to her doctor visits with her, helping her shop, helping her take her vitamins. At her last doctor visit I asked the doctor what brand multivitamin he recommended for my mother and he said Centrum Silver was the best non-prescription multivitamin for seniors. But then I remembered my mother has trouble swallowing pills and I mentioned this to him. I also told him my own doctor says hard pills don't absorb as well as gel caps so I wondered if taking hard pills was a waste of time. The doctor said I can grind up the pills and give it to my mother in a spoon full of apple sauce or I could give her Centrum Silver Chewable Vitamins. Well, my mother's eyes lit up when he said chewables. "Oh I want to try them!" she said like a little kid. We bought Centrum Silver Chewable Vitamins and my mother loves them, so much so that I have to make sure she doesn't take more than one a day. And I found that after about a month of using them her hair looked silkier and healthier and she seemed to be more bright eyed. I'm not sure if it's the vitamins or my visits (just joking). I believe it's the vitamins. I trust this brand and I trust my mother's doctor. I definitely recommend Centrum Silver Chewable Vitamins for all seniors, especially those who might have trouble swallowing pills.

I bought this Silver Vitamins for my mom, a little pricy compare to other brand, but my mom loves it. Before my mom complain about her sleep quality very often. After using this one for about half year, she said that she can sleep more hours right now. I think the Centrum Silver Vitamins works very well on seniors.

These vitamins are a great way for people like me who have issues swallowing. They taste great and I know I am still getting the vitamins and minerals I need everyday to help me feel the best that I can feel. Most vitamins for people 50 and older are so huge and bulky and need to be swallowed, but Centrum Silver Chewable vitamins just chew them and reap all the benefits.

Centrum vitamins are one of the best vitamins out there.  The Centrum Silver chewables are specially made for us older folks who have a harder time swallowing but all of the Centrum vitamins are great.  You know you are getting exactly what you are paying for as the bottle always tells you the vitamins and minerals that are contained in the tablet.  I use them every day and definitely notice a difference when I don't.  If I go a week or so without them, I start getting very tired but perk up after about 3 days when I start taking them again.  I know people say that there is no difference in vitamins but I sure notice the difference when I've used a cheaper brand.  When it comes to my health, it's worth paying a few cents more to take care of it.
