This is one of the best dog foods on the market. Quality of Ingredients After seeing the ingredients in lots of other dog foods I feel very good about giving this to my dog. It is more expensive than other pet foods, but just like people- you are what you eat. This dog food has mostly ingredients you can pronounce and it is wholesome for our dog to eat. This food doesn't contain wheat and chicken by-products that many other dog foods on the market contain. Many dogs are allergic to wheat, or the gluten in the wheat. Our dogs skin was very itchy when we first adopted her and within a few months of changing her to Organix food she stopped scratching!! Flavor Selection I think the flavor selections are perfect. Our dog likes the chicken the best. We have tried the lamb flavor but it was a bit rich for her and she didn't like it as much. She is not fond of the carrot bits in the food, but she likes everything else in the food. We have been very happy with the quality of the food.

After my dog kept having ear infections we switched to a grain free diet. I was a little skeptic on trying a new food because he can't eat certain foods and he loved the old one so much. This food does not upset his stomach and he loves the taste of it. I like that this has probiotics in it since he has been on some strong antibiotics in the last years. It didn't help the infections but sure has helped is appetite. This brand is pricier than the most dog foods but the quality is better and than the other major brands who has been recalled numerous times. Quality of Ingredients I love that it is made in the US and that it is organic. There is no byproducts, chemicals, dyes, or any other weird ingredients. I believe this is one of the best foods I could buy my sweet fur baby and be sure that I am feeding him quality ingredients. Flavor Selection My dog has always been picky over his food. When I bought this one he gobbled it up. I buy him the Chicken, Peas and Flax flavor. I also grab the wet food for holidays for him.

I have tried many kinds of dog food for my golden retriever and Castor & Pollux Organix Dry Dog Food is one of the best. My dog tends to have a sensitive stomach and often gets diarrhea with some types of dog food. However Castor & Pollux Organix Dry Dog Food gives him firm stools and as a bonus a soft and shiny coat. I had some issues with a previous dog getting sick from food made in China so now I am very careful to buy from the US which is the case with this dog food. Quality of Ingredients The ingredients in Castor & Pollux Organix Dry Dog Food are all natural and meat is the first listed which is important especially for large dogs to get enough protein. This food keeps my dog satisfied and he loves the taste. Plus I feel comfortable serving it to him knowing that it's organic and made in the United States. Flavor Selection My dog loved the taste but that doesn't say much! There is really nothing that my 80 pound golden won't eat! But I can say that he wolfs it all down in one sitting and doesn't leave any behind in his bowl.

Castor & Pollux Organix Canine Fornula-Organic Dog Food was a blessing for our dog. He is a poodle/schnauzer mix, and has alot of allergies. After months of watching him suffer by scratching & licking, a vet told us that dogs are sometimes allergic to ingredients in their food. And that we should steer clear of any product that has corn and wheat, which are 2 of the main allergens. In addtion, he said to only feed him food or treats that lists a meat or protein as the 1st ingredient in the ingredient list. This dog food measures up to all his suggestions, and our dog is much more comfortable. Hooray for this product!!!!

I too used to feed my pooch Science Diet thinking it was the best dog food. Then I started researching organic food, and found that Castor and Pollux Organics food was rated one of the best by both experts and dog owners. I see a huge difference in my pup's coat, and he has maintained his weight even in the winter months when he's not outdoors exercising as much. I know many are concerned about the price difference between the more popular brands and organic food, but its really worth it. Top notch food!

First let me say that if you are feeding your dog regular food like iams or pedigree or even science diet which is supposed to be all top notch, take a moment and look at the ingrediants. This also means for any canned food. Compare it to this food and also blue buffalo and other natural and/or organic food for your animals. They also will not be as hungry. This food is great my babies love it. I have 3 border collies two of whom are sisters. They absolutely love this food in any variety.

We started feeding our dogs more natural food when we found out the stuff we were previously feeding them was crap. We did a lot of research and it came down to castor and pollux and blue buffalo. There are no bi-products and it is all natural organic food, with meat as the first ingredient which was one of my main concerns. I will say each one of them had very appealing qualities but the both of my dogs seem to love the castor and pullox, i will occasionally throw in the ultra mix because they really enjoy the little chips that are in the food. My dogs, charlie and daisy, seem to be a lot healthier and are leaving less of a mess to clean up in the back yard if you know what i mean. It is a really great food, and they have amazing treats as well. All in all I am extremely satisfied with purchasing this food. My dogs are as well, they look forward to breakfast and dinner every morning and evening. Thank you for offering such a great food for my animals

Ever since I started feeding my Jack Russell Terrier Organix food, I have noticed several good changes.  He is able to maintain a healthy body weight now, has a beautiful soft coat and his "poo" is much healthier.  Previously he was on Science Diet, which he really liked, but he would have very soft stools or diarrhea quite often.  That is all history now.  He really loves the dry food, treats, the wet food, etc.  Also, I called the company during the recall of Peanut Butter last year to make sure that his treats were not recalled.  I was very happy and impressed that an actual person answered the phone and was able to answer my question and tell me exactly where their peanut butter is from. I highly recommend this dog food and I know that my Koty gives it two paws up!
