Caress Scarlet Blossom Body Wash used to be an item I purchased and kept in my shower. I enjoyed using it. I felt like it cleaned well and that the scent smelled great. The bottle is an easy shape to hold in your hand, but the body wash itself does come out rather quickly and it's easy to waste it because you end up getting too much out. As I began to research ingredients in our food I began to wonder what was in the body products we had in our house and used. I quickly discovered that many of them had awful ingredients including this product. Because of this discovery I no longer purchase or use this item. It contains ingredients such as synthetic colors and EDTA. I do not want to put those on my body so I no longer purchase this product. I will say the benefits to it are that it's cheap, looks pretty, and smells pretty, but my health is more important than saving money on body wash so I no longer use or support this product.

I recently purchased Caress Scarlett Blossom body wash for the first time. I have always loved Caress products, but have a hard time finding ones with a scent that my husband and I both like. I am also sensitive to products with an overpowering smell. However, I smelled this product in the store and brought it home in hopes that my husband would like it as much as I did. It was a winner! I love that Caress body washes leave your skin feeling soft and not sticky. It does not dry your skin out, but doesn't leave a sticky residue either. The smell is a perfect balance for men or women. It is also not too overpowering. The scent will also stay with you for the majority of the day. The product will last you a long time too. You do not have to put a lot of the body wash on your bath sponge to leave your skin clean and smelling great. Effectiveness This product works great. It leaves your skin feeling soft with no residue or sticky feeling. you do not need to use a lot of the product to leave your skin feeling clean. Scent The scent is perfect for men and women. It is not feminine smelling, so my husband likes it too.

I purchased this particular product on a whim.. I was in side of the store and it said on the bottle that it was a new scent by the company. I took the chance and it worked. I love the scent and it does leaves your skin nice and soft . There is no filmy stuff left behind on you skin. After trying this particular brand of soap, I made the switch and every time a new soap comes out by Caress I make sure I purchase the soap. The soap has not let me down and also all the scents are very intoxicating. I would recommend this soap for people who have dry skin and wants a soap that has a great smell. Men should not use this soap because all the scent are on the soft and floral side. Sensitive skin might want to watch out because the soap is perfumed and might contain stuff that can irritate your skin. Effectiveness The soap does leave your skin smooth and soft. I find that is great to use even if you are in the bath tub also . You can later up, rinse and relax in the tub. The stuff that is in the soap (some have Shea butter and exfoliating properties) leaves your skin basically kissable and you might not want to stop touching your own soft skin! Also again the intoxicating fragrance takes over the entire bathroom, what a wonderful and great bonus. Scent The scent is intoxicating, I only wish that they came out with body sprays also. I do receive complements on the scent. Sometimes I do not wear any perfume and you can actually smell the body wash on me. I know it has a short life span, but the compliments are worth it.

This body reminds me of what my grandmother used to use to wash with when she was still alive. It honestly just reminds so much of an old lady that I gave it away soon after using it the first time. I tried to use it more times after the first time, but I could just not get over the scent. It is good for cleaning my body and it lathers very nicely. It did feel like it left a small amount of soap residue on my skin and I did really like that at all. there are other Caress body washes that I do like and their scents are delicious, but this one is just terrible. I do not think I would tell anyone anything good about this body wash if I was asked and I certainly give anyone a recommendation to use it. Scent The scent reminded me of something that elderly ladies prefer. The scent is very strong and sat on my skin. I could smell it over the perfume I wanted to wear that day, which is really unacceptable.

I was so pleased and pleasantly surprised when Caress came out with this line of body washes. I have purchased four different scents of this body wash. This scent, the Scarlet Blossom made from red lychee and patchouli oil, is a medium level scent. You only need to use a small amount on your washcloth or body sponge to cleanse your body. It lathers quickly and cleans very well and does not dry out my skin. I used to apply a perfume or scented body spray after my morning shower. Using this scented body wash, I don't have to apply another type of perfume or scented body spray after my shower. The scent from this body wash lasts all day long. It is not over powering. This body wash alone is cost effective and when you take into consideration the fact another scent is not needed, you are saving even more money. The bottle is attractively shaped, easy to hold and use. The cap has a flip top lid that is easy to open and close with one hand. I use this scent when I am having an afternoon date.

Caress Scarlet Blossom body wash is so great! I received this in a gift basket last year for Christmas and fell in love! It came with a new loufa, which i got to say is perfect for this kind of body wash. As your in the shower put a quarter size on a loofa and scrub away! it cleans beautifully and every scent i've tried has been just delicious smelling and I can't go wrong it seems! I also have sensitive skin extremely, and I have never had a problem- no rashes or anything so that's also a miracle! The scarlet blossom normally lasts two days strong on my skin and I can go to work and have it still smelling strong on me all day until i get home. I work in a greasy bakery/food deli, so that's very impressive that I would still feel pretty because my skin is clean and still smell beautiful and feel gorgeous!! Scent Absolutely to die for-and all caress body washes scents usually are, I would also highly recommend evenly gorgeous and midnight elixirs (both gorgeous.. evenly gorgeous is the gold bottle and midnight elixirs is a nice purple) and if you don't believe all of them are good just open the caps while your at the grocery store and take a wiff..you wont be able to put it back on the shelf i guarantee!

I've used this for about a year and I LOVE it. I've tried the other scents, but this one is definitely my favorite. Smells sweet and spicy, and mixes perfectly with my Coco Mademoiselle lotion I put on after the shower. I just wish Caress would come out with a lotion to match this. I recommend this if you aren't in to fruity smells. I love the way it makes my skin feel. The scent lasts hours after my shower, but isn't too powerful. Overall, a fantastic product! Well done Caress!! Effectiveness Makes your skin feel very clean, and soft. Scent Lovely, sweet and spicy scent. Long lasting!

I purchased a bottle of the new Caress Scarlet Blossom Body Wash about two weeks ago. I bought it because when I smelled it at the store it smelled really good. When I used it home I noticed that the scent got very musky and it made me smell like that all day. I guess that some people like musky fragrances but I don't. Even my husband noticed the smell that day and asked me where it was coming from. I told him that it came from that new bottle of bodywash that I bought (Caress Scarlet Blossom Body Wash), and he said that he thought it kind of stunk, which I agree. So now I've got a full bottle of this stuff and I still plan to use it...even though it's musky, because I'm not a waster and I hate to see stuff go to waste. Especially knowing that I paid extra for it because of it being a new product. On the other hand the Caress Scarlet Blossom Body Wash does lather up good and provide all day lasting scent on your skin, so if you like the flowery muskiness then this is the bodywash for you. I do plan to buy another variety of these new Caress bodywashes, I think that the next one that I am going to try is the purple bottle, (don't remember the name of it), but after I give that one a try I'll review it as well on here. Scent After using it for a while I found that myself and my husband just didn't like the scent anymore, too musky.

O.K. here's the setting, I'm in the store. I see a display, the display has items on sale. Seeing how I, not too long ago purchased Caress Tahitian Renewal Body Wash, was pleasantly pleased. One because, that one smells ooh soo good, how it makes your skin feel, plus I dream of going to Tahiti! I noticed Caress came out with a few more new scents, picked up a bottle ~ sniff, hmm that one smells good. Then another hmm, so does this one. (I heard a rumor, a women was doing the same thing, only longer. She had a really BIG purse, if you know what I'm saying~eyes were on her). The new one I purchased is ***Caress Scarlet Blossom***,*** fine fragrance elixirs***,*** red lychee & patchouli oil scent.*** I will say this smells oh so much better in the container. Smelled nice putting it on my poof, then I started to wash. The scent was, I guess you could say manly, not sure., really hard to place or describe the scent. Just lost that wonderful smell I had been sniffing in the store, that I couldn't wait to try. I've used ***Caress Scarlet Blossom** **,**** fine fragrance elixirs, red lychee & patchouli oil scent ***a few times now. Seems to be smelling a little better, could be the fact, I bought it I better use it. Get use to it! Would I purchase this again? This scent, mmmm probably not. Would I recommend it? Probably not, I would tell them my feeling on it, they would have to make their own choice. I can only speak from my experience. **My Viewpoint:** I will finish the ***Caress Scarlet Blossom, fine fragrance elixirs, red lychee & patchouli oil scent ,*** well because, it's a waste not, want not thing. Your better off leaving it at the store, sniffing it as you walk by. I did give it 3 stars, as it does clean. And I suppose to each his/her own nose.
