This printer does a great job. The color ink comes out clear, as does the black ink. It's really easy to just hook up the USB cable whenever I need it. When it does goof up, the reset button works great. It's nice that the driver auto-downloads when you plug it into a new computer, so you don't have to find the CD every time you hook it up to a new computer. It's pretty cost effective. I also like the sleek look of it - shiny black is always a classic. The ink is easy to install once you get the hang of it. I do think the ink is somewhat expensive, but I haven't really compared prices. I always buy the original ink, since the remanufactured ones always seem to run out too quickly.  The few negatives for this product include the lack of a paper tray to catch what is coming out, as well as taking a while to actually start printing. There are a bunch of clicks and clacks while it warms up, although once it starts printing then it goes quickly. I did print all of my wedding invitations and programs using this printer.

My friend got this printer as part of a free add-on when buying a laptop, and since she already owned a printer at the time, she decided to give this one to me. So keep in mind that this printer was free for me, meaning i had little to no expectations. That being said, this printer is great and performed satisfactorily for all of my printing needs. It prints color photos very nicely, and throughout the years that I've had this printer, I have not noticed any color fading in the photos that I have printed. It also prints very quickly especially if I print black and white documents in fast mode. You do have to spend a significant amount of money changing the print cartridges, but I find that I only have to do it once or twice a year depending on how much I print. I rarely experience problems with jamming, and if it does jam, the problem is easily fixed. This printer is also compact and can be connected to my laptop via USB cable which makes it very easy to store anywhere when I'm not using it.

Canon iP1800. I got the printer free from one of those rebate things. It worked well for a while until I updated my computer and then it took a while to get it to work. I use Linux. It worked beautifully until the ink ran out last week. I think they gave me a little container of ink for the promotion. I don't know how much new ink costs but I'm sure it is expensive.  I think it can print pictures pretty well but uses up a lot of the ink so I didn't do that very often.  I hope I can find more ink soon. I really like the look of the printer it is slick black and smaller than other printers. The only drawback I have is that it doesn't have it's own tray to catch the paper so the paper gets bent or gets spit out onto the floor. Probably if I had a bigger area for it it would just be on the table. It shows finger prints and dust very well but the smoothness makes it fun to clean. So it isn't the top of the line but it will do.

This printer came as a bundle deal with my laptop. I really was not expecting much from it because I knew it retailed for pretty cheap. But, once I got it home and all set up I was quite suprised at how much I have come to really like it. I print tons of stuff, between having a home based business, printing school work, and tons of coupons. It does a great job, and the ink lasts long enough to please me. It is sleek and light and easy to pack up and take a long on the occasions  I need to print invoices away from home. It is very basic and easy to use. It only has 2 buttons! So, even someone that is not a tech savvy person would be able to use this with great ease. This is certainly the most functional, practica,l no hassle printer I have ever owned. I would certainly recommend it to anyone that is in the market for a new printer and looking for something for home use. Keep in mind it is only a printer and not a 3 in one.

The canon inkjet printer does and excellent job printing black and white, color and pictures.  It does it fast, is simple to use and retails for a price that cannot be beat.  Only downside is the price of the ink cartridges.  Still I would recoomend it to anyone
