Great Basic Cookie Sheets

4

I had these Calphalon baking sheets for years until I recently switched to some from Williams Sonoma. They performed admirably the entire time I had them. These are very large and so are very good when I'm baking large batches of cookies. I can usually fit from 18 to 20 cookies on a sheet. If it's a cookie that does not spread I can get 30 on a sheet. This is a huge bonus when you have a lot of baking to do. The sheets heat evenly and the cookies bake nicely with gently browned bottoms. I've only very rarely had a batch get too dark on the bottoms. I can't speak to the non-stick qualities of these as I always bake on parchment paper on these for ease of cleanup. I had these pans for at least five years and never experienced any sort of warping or any issues, despite baking at temperatures up to 450 degrees. I definitely recommend these for those who do a lot of cookie baking. They are easy to use and stack nicely.

Calphalon Cookie Sheet is awesome

Like another reviewer here said, I was used to buying cheap pans because I thought that they would hold up over time. However, once I bought the Calphalon Cookie Sheet, my mind has been changed forever. If you buy a good quality pan like this one, it will last you a very long time and save you money because you don't have to buy a replacement. The Calphalon Cookie Sheet doesn't peel or get rusty as long as you handle it correctly. In addition, the surface heats quite evenly so your cookies turn out perfect. Cleanup is relatively easy as long as you use parchment paper or spray the sheet down with cooking spray. I don't know if it's a non stick cookie sheet or not but I don't think that I will take chances here. I like how it doesn't have the edge that traditional pans have because it's easier to put parchment paper on it. Take my advice and just splurge a little bit to buy this cookie sheet because you will be amazed!

Makes the most wonderful chocolate chip cookies

I have had very good luck with these pans. I have had issues baking with other cookie sheets but they distribute heat effectively making the perfect pizza crust, crispy and delicious. They are also perfect for cookies leaving the cookies golden on the bottom and however you like the rest. I personally enjoy gooey cookies, nearly still cookie dough. This is very easy to do with these while still getting a cookie that has a bottom that is rigid enough not to fall apart while still having the gooey cookie dough like top. The insulated layer between the top and bottom allow a uniform heat transfer to occur from the pan to the food. I have never had an issue with anything sticking to these and as a result are one of the easiest dishes to clean up. With no scrubbing at all, the pan is clean and ready to bake again. The one issue i have with these are they are pretty expensive although they do work very well i feel that you can get equal performance from a cookie sheet that costs much less.

Great multipurpose sheet pan

5

I purchased a Calphalon sheet pan on clearance one day because I needed it to bake cookies. I baked approximately 400 cookies for my coworkers during the holidays. This pan is great! I can put 12 cookies on it and don't have to worry about them sticking, and causing the next batch to stick. It is also perfect for pizzas. The only thing I don't like is the size - it is big and doesn't fit in my dishwasher all that well, so I always end up having to hand wash it. It has been used for multiple purposes from baking cookies to pizzas to chicken nuggets. It is a great all around pan.

Nothing beats Calphalon

I have had these nonstick bake ware cookie sheets for almost seven years and counting. They have held up nicely through the years and I use them on a regular basis. They are genuinely nonstick which makes baking very easy. My children love biscuits and croissants. I bake them on my cookie sheets and they do not stick to the sheets at all. I don't even spray or butter them up. And the sheets are easy to clean. I either hand wash them or put them in my dishwasher if there is room for them. I love Calphalon and this is another great product of theirs. They are a trustworthy brand with high quality cookware. Performance These cookie sheets perform as described. They are non stick and can be used for baking cookies, croissants, biscuits, pizza, etc. I even bake chicken cutlets on them. Ease of Cleaning Hand wash or put them in the dishwasher Durability They have held up nicely through the years. Doesn't Stick I do not like to butter or spray my pans. And with these cookie sheets, I don't have to. As my baked goods do not stick to the pan.

Calphalon cookie sheets are ok.

I actually like to bake quite a bit, and so asked my wife if we could get these as a part of our wedding gifts. We received a set of Calphalon pans that we've used quite a bit and have loved, and thought a cookie sheet by the same company would be as wonderful as the other pans. I'm not sure if it is the fact that the temperature of my oven is a bit warmer than most ovens, or the fact that the pan is so dark, but everything I seem to cook on this pan gets way too brown on the bottom. I have since started lowering the temperature 25 degrees when I bake anything, which seems to help, but even still has not fixed the problem. It is very easy to clean and as non-stick as it could be, but I'm just not sure the dark surface is worth it. Overall I like the pan ok, but I probably would not buy the same one over again if I was given the chance. It may be better for those who are not bakers, but with sensitive things like cookies it's not the best.

I am considering buying new pans

I registered for these pans when we got married and I thought I was going to love them. I just randomly picked them out in the store with out reading any reviews as I was registering. The packaging was nice and they seemed like good, quality pans. They were not the cheapest baking pans out there and since we did not recieve them as gifts, I decided to purchase them. The first time I used them - I burned the cookies on the bottom and the top was not even done yet. I thought it was me, so I kept trying, burning the bottom of everything I made, yet the top of the food was not fully baked. I was upset because I invested in these nice pans and they were failing me. Some one mentioned to use parchment paper and since using that, I have had success. I also looked up the pans online and it mentions that since these are such high quality pans - you don't need to have your oven so hot. So when I use these pans, I either use parchment paper or I turn down my oven. I would like to get a set of pans that don't require either - but right now I am making these work.
