I decided to splurge and purchase Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream. I really was not overly impressed with this cream! This is a classic example of paying more for a popular brand name, which is in reality not any better then the cheaper brands. Effectiveness I used the Burt's Bees cream on my face and neck but I honestly did not see any different results. My face did feel moisturized but it actually felt somewhat greasy after applying the cream. I used the Burt's Bees Radiance cream for several months and the product did last for quite some time but I never felt like it was any better then less well known brands. Ease of Application It is easy to apply the cream and a little dab of product goes a long way. The cream does blend well and absorbs into your skin relatively well. However, it left my face and neck a little too oily In my opinion. Scent The scent of Burt's Bees day cream is pleasant enough and subtle. It has a clean and fresh smell. Overall, I can't justify paying so much money for a product solely based on the popularity of the brand! Save yourself some money and buy a less expensive moisturizer. I have found that they work just as well.

I really like and appreciate that Burt's Bees products take a natural approach to skin care. I do like and use a few of their products. However, some have not worked well for me. Unfortunately, Burt's Bees Radiance Day Creme was one of them. It really didn't meet my moisturizing needs. I really didn't care for the radiance part either because it made my skin shiny and sparkly in a bad way that really pronounced any fine lines and wrinkles I do have. Effectiveness This cream left my skin feeling greasy. It did not feel like it absorbed into my skin well. It felt like it was just sitting on the outer layer. Of course, this being the case, my makeup did not apply well. It just make my face look and feel more oily than it needs to be. I want a moisturizer to feel comfortable and still let my face feel clean. This did not. Ease of Application This is easy to apply. I am a fan of pump bottles so that no bacteria or contaminants get into the jar. Scent This smelled ok but not the greatest.

Burt´s bee Radiance day crème is a great lotion, it feels fresh and leaves your skin feeling clean and fresh. This lotion smells nice, it doesn't feel greasy and moisture your skin evenly. It is good for all types of skin. Your skin absorbs it completely leaving the skin soft and radiant. Effectiveness It works really good. Ease of Application Very easy to apply. Scent Smell very nice.

I always looked at Burt's bees products like they were amazing and so worth while but lately since I have been actually using more of their products I'm more and more disappointed. This was seriously a terrible product that I would not recommend to anyone. It is essentially an extremely oily product that has a touch of shimmer in it. Perhaps it does moisturize your skin a bit, but mostly it just makes it a shiny oily mess. If you do buy this product do not put it on your forehead. I put it on for the first time on my forehead before I went out with friends and the product settled in the fine lines of my skin and made me look like an old woman with sparkles on her face. Maybe a touch on the cheeks but honestly it's a waste of money. I'm so sad that these products have been continually disappointing. I really love that this is a natural product I just wish it was also effective. Also after about three months this product starts to look and smell a bit different, so the shelf life is not as long as other comparable products. Effectiveness Not very effective because the cream is too thick and oily to put on your face. It clogs your pores and it's just not good. Ease of Application Easy to apply. Scent The scent is about the only wonderful thing about this product. It really does smell like a little slice of heaven! Fresh and fragrant.

This is a great product for my face. It is very moisturizing and it does add a wonderful radiance to my face. It's a smaller pot though and it doesn't seem to last as long as some of my other face moisturizers do. This product is also on the higher end in price compared to other Burt's Bees products. Although I love it, it's not the only face cream I use. The scent is also not one of my favorites of theirs. It is kind of an off-putting scent, in my opinion. Effectiveness A good moisturizer that has an added sparkle to give your skin a nice radiant glow. Ease of Application Applies evenly and goes on smoothly. I think I have to use slightly more of this than other face creams in order to get a good coverage as I go through this faster than other creams. Scent This is one of my least favorite scents of all the Burt's Bee's products. I don't know how to describe the scent but it's kind of heavy and hangs around? It's not a light scent.

Up untill about 7 or 8 months ago I did not use a moisturizer. I've always had mostly oil skin with some occasional dry spots, so I've never needed moisturizer much. When I did try them for the dry spots they made the oily spots worse and caused breakouts. Anyway, I now have combination skin with both oily and dry spots all the time so I need a moisturizer, but one that will not make me super oily or clog my pores. This is that moisturizer! It moisturizes well and it doesn't make me oily at all. It gives me a nice, natural glow. This stuff also lasts a long time. I didn't want to spend what it cost, but it has actually proved to be worth the price as it has lasted for over six months. I only use a few small dabs on my forehead, nose and cheeks and that is plenty enough. I would give it 5 stars but I don't know about the anti-aging effects of this product because I don't have to worry about lines or wrinkles just yet. I do feel like it has improved the condition of my skin though. I'm really happy with it for now and hopefully when I do need an anti-aging cream this will work for that too!

Story: My skin has been through the ringer this past year. I never used to break out at all and used to have flawless skin. Then, i started serving in a Mexican restaurant to make some extra coin through college. As you can imagine all of the oil and grease and running around caused my face to have build up. All of a sudden my face started becoming extremely oily and gross. I stopped wearing makeup. When I would go home and wash my face, it would become super dry, then ten minutes later super oily. So of course i looked into proactive and used it for a bit, until it started DESTROYING my skin, so i stopped it. Once i got an internship i left the restaurant and my skin started to become normal again..with scattered pimples that drove me crazy. I now use astringent every couple days and this day cream to moisturize. ABSOLUTE perfection for my skin. this cream has not made me break out and has actually improved my complexion and fine lines. This is definitely worth the money.

I loved the idea of Burt's Bees Radiance Day Cream and was so excited to try it out.  Royal Jelly?  Cool!  I love all-natural, eco-friendly products and I have enjoyed tons of Burt's Bees products!  I had waited a long time to buy the Day Cream since it was one of the spendier products, but I'm afraid to say it has sat on my bathroom shelf without much use since then.  It has kind of a strange smell that turned my stomach, and it was much too greasy for my skin.  I thought about using it on my elbows or other dry areas but it wasn't that fantastic of a moisturizer either and it didn't stick well.  It didn't really improve the texture of my skin, or moisturize it that well, but it did make it so shiny and slick that my makeup slid right off my face.  Sorry, Burt's Bees, I love your company and almost all of your products, but I just couldn't find much of anything redeeming in this one.  Not recommended.

I got this in a Burt's Bees gift set.  It has all kinds of small packages of Burt's Bees products. I was eager to try this out as I am always on the lookout for good face creams.  These products are knows for their natural ingredients and the fact that they don't test on animals, so I like to use them if I like them. I do not like this product!  It smells like wax!  All day I kept smelling that smell and it was very annoying. I tried to like it.  First thing I noticed is that the label says Day Cream, but there's no sunscreen in it.  Most daytime products contain sunscreen which is a good thing.  I don't care what kind of cream you use, you can't undo that sun damage! After I got past that, I went to put some on my face.  It is VERY runny.  It takes awhile to dry and then there's that smell. I don't like to throw out stuff that I haven't used up, but I just couldn't use the rest of this.  Sorry Burt!

I love this cream. It is the only facial cream I use. It is light and smooth. I love the way it smells light and sweet like a flower garden after a rainstorm. It makes my skin super soft and gives me a glow as if I am in love. I definately recomend this cream. It is totaly worth it.
